I didn't get to meet half of our group....our group was HUGE!! Sorry to all those I missed and to those who did not get their goodies....I really had the best intentions but just could not seem to come through.

I just want to say this was one of the best trips I have ever been on!! I am so bummed to be home.

DH was talking about going on a different ship and the girls all screamed NO WAY!! at the same time!

I doubt we'll try another ship until the girls are a bit older.....

So now we are home and DH went into work during lunch. He came home after I arrived and brought some pizza for lunch. Of course he has to get right back into things and was going to change the filter in the heating/cooling unit. While bending over he got a sharp pain that ran from his back down his left leg...

I can't get a hold of my niece to go in to help at the restaurant so I may have to...

Lisa, I tried to find a way to get a hold of you yesterday. I was thinking we could have met up fpr dinner during the drive home. Didn't have your number and I thought of it too late... anyone else finding a theme with me here?

I only had Kristina and Carla's numbers, but neither had yours. Kristina did have John's, but he didn't answer. I am glad you made it home. Hope it was an uneventful drive!

The gifts throughout the cruise were the BEST!! It was so much find checking if there were any goodies in the stocking! I wish we could go next December, but it just won't work. If we don't go on the Med (highly unlikely we will) I have the Halloween cruise booked with PJ.

Then there is 2008!!!

If anyone is wondering, I figured out what to do with tipping between the 2 cabins. We ended up using both in various ways. I just tipped as if there were 3 in each room as the numbers were never consistant. The sideways cabin is awesome!!!

Becka, sorry to hear you had kid issues. I had that last year with Dina when I was by myself. She wasn't much better this time, but DH dealt with it most of the time as I was not going to let an almost 4 year old dictate my life with her control issues. She loved the club while she was in it, but it was getting her there that was the pain. DH thought I was being cruel putting her in if she was crying, but I knew she wanted to. She just wanted to see what I would do if she cried, KWIM? Wish I had gotten to see you more.



I have to go get these kids in order. Sarah has been doing homework all day and Amanda has been adding to her journal. She was way to busy to keep up with it!

oh no Dennis & Angie, that transformer fire sounds awful. I am hoping and praying that your house isn't affected and that everyone, especially the fire fighters, is safe.

We are home now and the power outage did not affect our house, thankfully.

Home!!

I got as far as Fredricksberg VA last night, then only had 3 1/2 hours left this morning. Took a grand total of 15 hours driving time. Got home by 12:30 today.

Have to run though because Ibrahim just hurt his back. Have to go to my dad's to get some pills.

Had the BEST time with everyone!!!

Sorry to hear about the back. Ouch! We really, really enjoyed meeting Ibrahim. You got a good guy there, Caroline!

Good morning! Or is it afternoon??

I just read through the last few pages and I was doing just FINE until I saw the twopalms screenshot and now I'm just about bawling I had such a great week and it was wonderful to meet everyone and you are all 50billion times more fun in person!

We had a rather eventful last day after we left the port... If you happened to see a silver Pontiac spin out on the 528 freeway about 9 am... that was us... It was about halfway to the airport... there was some construction going on and DH had glanced down quickly to make sure he had a $1 bill for the toll booth and when he looked up, traffic had come to a standstill. So he swerved out of the lane (thank God there was no traffic in the right lane), we went into a skid one direction, he overcorrected, we skidded the other direction and finally did a 180 spin into the grassy shoulder. PRAISE GOD we didn't hit anyone or anything -- there was miraculously nothing in our way (had it been California, we would have run into something - there are signs and crap everywhere on the shoulder). So we checked and everything was okay -- kids thought it was some sort of fun ride lol but nobody hurt and we were able to pull back onto the road and go on our way.

Wow! Glad all are ok and nothing damaged! It only takes a second! Whoa!

Luckily my drive home was without insident. I dropped off the family at 12:30 after we stopped for lunch at TGIF. They wouldn't accept the KTTW card.

Same thing at Elmer's Restaurant by the hotel we were at last night. What's with that??

Our girls ARE older (much older) and we still won't be trying another ship.
