OK...trying to get caught up from what I mised after I had to leave work, but the word "DRINK" caught my attention!!!!! What's a drink list? I want one! Did somebody say DRINK?!

OK...going back to try to get caught up again.

Talk to Jackie (ibouncetoo)...she made up a list of adult beverages and their ingredients for our DISgroup navigator. Peggy threatened to make laminated cards for easier reference. I suppose the designated walker would be responsible for carrying those, too....

Just popping to say "hi". I've been trying to read this thread, but already having a hard time keeping caught up. After I catch up, I'm too tired to post. I'm hoping that I even though I don't have the time to post on a regular basis, I can still be part of the group. Still bummed about how 1/31 went and having a "guarantee" Cat 9.

I noticed several No. Cal. Thieves mention scrapbooking past cruises before leaving for this one. How about a "mini scrapbook meets"???

Where are you in northern California? We have a few of us so far. Check on the first page if you have kids so they can join the kids thread.

We need to get someone to summarize the posts every so often so people can keep up.

I hope we can also organize a northern California meet prior to the cruise.

my son will be 14 on this cruise too....last time we let him run all over the ship and he was very responsible....hye had fun (except the time he did not show up for dinner - our one requirement-and we had to search all over the ship for him to make sure he was OK!)

I am caught up on all of the post to this point...but I have nothing done around the house! I have to go now and help the kids with their homework. Do you think Mike (DH) will believe there was a major DIS emergency. That is why I got nothing done around the house.

I am very worry about how many posts I will find, by the time I get the kids in bed. I might need my DOD to get throught the posts later! Who is in charge of mixing them tonight?

Well, I stayed late at work to get caught up on this thread. HOPEFULLY, when I get home I will do the giant stack of dishes and fininsh paying bills. ummmmm, I think that's all I'll commit to for tonight though AND, I'll probably go OUT to dinner on the way home!

Summary:

In the last 24 hours we have decided that:

If you are going to be part of the DOD club, 2 drinks is the minimum, there is no maximum. Disignated walkers are being assinged to the DOD club members to ensure they will make it back to their cabins and avoid unplanned and/or unwarranted pajama parties!

There are a whole lot of Lauras, Loris, and Lisas on this cruise. Shouting one of these names at anytime will result in multiple people looking at you to see what you want.

Brisully knows where to get the biggest martini's made on the ship!

Life is too short to not take your kids out of school and on vacation as a family. Appreciate your loved ones and give them lots of hugs and love.

We play much nicer than some people on another board doing the opposite cruise of us.

we;re back! Looks like I need to catch up!

We had a GREAT time, the weather was ok, sprinkling but nothing too terrible except for the 60 degree weather today!

Parts of FL were hit really hard with the storm, luckily not us nor any family that are in the area. Prayers out to anyone who may have been affected....it looks like a lot of damage.

The Pirate and Princess party was fantastic and hands down the best firworks I have ever seen.

Yeah, well that's 64 degrees WARMER than it is going to be here tonight - and WHAT are you guys doing?

HOW can I be 34 pages behind when I get home from work?
