Do you know when the point charts and reservations are being taken for AKL?

The AKV point charts are currently available on the dvcmember.com web site.
There's *four* classes of "view" for AKV - though as far as I'm concerned, Savannah view is the only one that matters!!!

I just cannot imagine having over 1000 points. The initial investment would be insane, and the annual dues would be a little steep for me. However.... the idea of spending your winter months in WDW, almost as a second home sounds appealing. For those snowbirds out there, maybe owning so many points is still cheaper than having a second home in Orlando (No utility bills and no worries about maintanence). Does anybody buy points as a second home alternative?

I have 160 at SSR. Fingers crossed that CRV happens- if so I will add-on 3 50-60 point contracts there-that I can enjoy with my family and then leave to my 3 kids.
