It's so hard not to cry when you realize how much they're changing.

DS should have left Tybee, but they're going other places and won't come home until tomorrow.

Lynn...mom will get the thing with the Flowers, mom's are good that way.

Hello and goodbye to everyone else...I'll check back later!
I'm sure the teachers are keeping an eye on the weather. :) I think my mom will understand why I only sent 3 roses. She did have a box of candy being delivered with them until I saw the total $!! They even charge $13 to deliver the flowers! Sheesh! Oh, and they have a new thing. You can send your own voice in a message. The recipient is given a number to call and they have to punch in a special code. That was an extra $4.95! That's ok, I knew that one would be too much for mom to handle anyway.

Hi All.. :wave2:

Bye all.. :wave2:

Same old same old.. Yawn, I am getting too old for this... :faint: See ya later.

If YOU are getting too old, what does that mean for the rest of us?!?!?! :scared1:

Hi...checking in on my way out the door...

Tybee Island..off the coast of Savannah. Where DS's field trip stayed last night and are this morning. ::yes:: Now you know why I was a little  about the storm. Let's see, broken arm, surgeries, shingles and coastal evacuations?:scared1: I think the storm calmed down, though. He didn't SAY the waves were pounding at the hotel windows or anything when he called last night!:upsidedow

That's what I'm telling myself and I don't want to hear anything else.:hippie: But I DO hope they cancel the Dolphin cruise!

Yikes! Make sure you check in and let us know when he gets home!

Kathy, here are my guesses:

mouth or lipstick or Rocky Horror Picture Show :scared1:
book in rocks, Cliff's Notes?
Mandy Moore = more?
Cleveland or Grover or President

Judging
toast or champagne or drink
The Party Starts here

Now what do I do with all these phrases?
Rocky books more in Cleveland?
A toast to the judges party - here!

It's all over my head. Gotta go pick up kids... :drive:

Made it through my kindergarten orientation with grandson. No crying for me or him :goodvibes

We're in between thunderstorms right now... They say we need the rain and yet our lake is at flood level :confused3

Hope you and yours are safe whether they are at home with you or out on school trips (3Pirates) or traveling back home (Mulhenberg)

We all seem to be missing each other online today. I haven't checked in here too much today. I have discovered a new way to keep track of all the notes about this challenge.

I figured that since I didn't have time to drive it........................

Yes, it's one of those "shift" kinda days.

Muhlenberg, ya gotta throw us a bone or two.

lips-pillow?
Mandy Moore - more?
book and rocks - under layers or something?
Grover Cleveland - Cleveland?

In Cleveland the pillows have more layers?

judging

celebrate

We'll celebrate when the judging starts? The judges are starting to celebrate?

Sorry, but the more guesses I give the more "out there" they will be.:rolleyes1

I think the lips are for "red" like "read"...

read moore books cleveland

read moore books grover?

You're reading books about "Grover"??? :lmao: Is he still spending time with Elmo???

Lynn....that car reminds me of my desk at work...Went to a time management class to eliminate stickies....I'm sure my instructor would be disappointed if she could see my desk..

Or the lips could be kiss...

Kiss books more grover?

Cleveland Kiss more rocks?

OK, here's a picture clue about what's under the stickies on my desk...

Dust bunnies!!!!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm just passing through. I'll be back after ER at 11 !

Dust bunnies! They look too neat and clean to be residing at our house!

Just made reservations for family to go to Maine in June...For those that think their kids never leave home...they do...but then they want to spend free time with you too!! Gotta love it!!

 Well, this is certainly a first! I'm the only one checking in this morning! I know Kathy's at dd's, but where are the rest of you?:confused3 Oh well, off on my merry way!

Morning! I know, I missed you. Kathy is gone, but Tammy is MIA...maybe she fell asleep and is still dreaming about Dream Girls?:rotfl: :rotfl: ...everyone else usually shows up later.

So I'll just sit here and talk to myself. Tammy, we hope when our kids are grown they will still voluntarily spend time with us. (There is always the DVC to hold over their heads..:rolleyes1 )

This morning was another non-standard one--Field Day! I feel strange because I'm not volunteering this year, but I have been in DSs class three times this week if you count last Friday's field trip, so it was time to do some other things.

The travelin' boy is doing fine. He said his shingles are bugging him less and the little blisters are healing, so I think he's probably on the downhill slide. We have successfully gotten through two nights away without a "come pick him up" call, so the world is good.:goodvibes They DID do the Dolphin cruise yesterday because it was on the Inlet side of the island, not out in the surf. But he said it was a little rough and there were whitecaps on the inlet:eek: ! But they did find some dolphins! They also spent some time at the shore learning from Marine Biologists. I asked him, and he said the waves were big, but we've been to the beach before when there were big storms somewhere else and he said it was about like that. (No, he didn't see anyone from the Weather Channel!) Today they finish up in the historic section of Savannah and head out. As soon as he gets home he has to jump in the car and drive across town for the start of a--you guessed it!--LaCrosse game. They're playing in an end of season tournament that starts tonight!:headache:

And I'm going to try to chase off some of those dust bunnies today and get my house in order since it looks like I'll be doing this all weekend. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good morning...A little late checking in...I did fall asleep during DreamGirls so I'll have to watch it again tonight...Being with the grandsons yesterday afternoon tired me out more than I thought..

Glad that traveling boy is enjoying his trip and getting better from shingles...And for you..:flower3:  because you're a good mom who attends all of the Lacrosse games and attends to all of your childrens needs..And yes, the DVC has been a big plus in keeping our kids vacationing with us even after they are married :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Aw.....shucks!

I'll consider that a big compliment coming from you, because you obviously have done a lot right as a mom, and now as the grandma!:flower3:

I haven't seen DreamGirls yet. Seems like our weekends are so hectic that we're either busy or ready to do nothing. Now that its on DVD maybe I can see it! DH did take two of the boys to Spiderman last night, but that took major planning! (And he had committed before leaving town, or he would have never done it last night!);)

I don't think I would have made it through a movie last night either. And isn't it amazing how having little people around can take it out of you? They're so active. Of course, having the older ones can take its toll too...but that usually is only if they're having one of their moods!

Since I'm down one DS to chase around this morning I'm going to get busy with my day now...have a great Friday, gang!

OK, that is just weird! I started Dreamgrils at 8 lastnight! Are you in my house? :rotfl:

Hi Schnerk...

I saw you checked in Yesterday. Did you stay up through Dreamgirls? If you fell asleep I'm sure you and SweetinMaine are living together!;) Maybe you were able to stay up because of the Green Tea...(oh, should I have not used those words?):rotfl:

No..I did it the wrong way...I worked all the time and rarely did the field trips. Today I can step back and see the opportunities missed. I'm encouraging my daughter to do as much as she can with her sons....Kind of living the "if only I had known" years...I'm very fortunate that the kids want to spend time...KWIM?

Have a great day.
