It was a tough choice for me between Mr Toad, World of Motion and Horizons but I voted for Horizons. That was my favorite ride at Epcot and I still wish they would have built Mission Space where Wonders of Life is.

I want 4 back..20,000 leagues, Mr Toads Wild Ride, Horizons , and World of Motion..these rides were what I remember most about my family trips to Disney as a kid

Yes. the Delta DreamFlight Attraction had Several Names Accually

It Started out as : "If you had Wings" Opened 6/5/1972 it closed 6/1/1987 after eastern Airlines dropped sponsorship..

It Reopened 6/6/1987 as "If You Could Fly" That closed 1/4/1989...

shortly after , Delta Airlines took over as Sponsor . and the Attraction reopened Once again as " Delta Dream Flight" in 1989

It was Called Delta Dreamflight Until Delta was dropped as a Sponsor in June 1996 and the Attraction was renamed " Disney's Take Flight "

"Disney's Take Flight "was closed in January 1998.. This Attraction would later be Re-Themed Completely and Became the Attraction Now Known as "Buzz Light Year's Spaceranger Spin"

Just a Little Hstory here :thumbsup2

Wonders of Life. I miss Body Wars and Cranium Command.

Timekeeper, I loved that one too.

My vote was for Horizons. Yes it was a slow ride, but entertaining all the same, especially with those omnimax screens..SO awesome. And the adventure you got to choose at the end was pretty cool too.

Wow! My first thought when I saw the list was where's "If you had Wings...?"
until I saw Delta Dreamflight, though I primarily recall it as "If..."

As much as I like the new Land...that's one area I also kind of miss. I really loved the original was the balloons in the middle looked, and the Mickey pasta...

Being in healthcare I am partial to the Wonders of Life -- though I did love "if you had wings" and "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" too! Great topic!

My very first thought.. before even opening the thread to see the choices was "Mr Toad!!" So that was number one. But I also love and miss World of Motion and Horizons.

I like slow rides. I like all rides, to be frank.. except the ones that spin so much that one wants to throw up.. but you know what I mean.

If I can sit in a little car and go through an exhibit, even if it is educational, which sometimes has a stigma attached to it, I still enjoy it.

I wish those could come back. Fun stuff.

Moving this one to the ThemeParks Community Board.

Thanks,

Knox

MK always feels gutted to me compared to DL. They need more dark rides, those little guys suck up people and kids enjoy them as well as adults. Its ashame they cheaped out and just replaced toad with pooh. Disneyland with less space managed to find room to put in yet another building (or did they convert office space or something, i cant remember) and build pooh there as well as keep toad and fantasyland has more rides there as well.

I would KILL to see Skyway come back. It was such an awesome tool for getting video and photographs of the park from a different point of view. I have some video of an absolutely amazing sunset in 1997 while floating above Fantasyland. Unfortunately, some of it is marred by the pink castle cake, but you know... :p

And I know 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was a giant PITA to maintain, but it was so sweet and was always one of my favorites as a child...I miss it.

I would LOVE if Mr. Toads Wild Ride would come back. I can't imagine why they closed it in the first place.

I would love to see the SKYWAY come back. It's the only one that had nothing like it and nothing new created in its place. The loading stations are a sore reminder that something is missing. A relaxing view over Fantasyland and Tomorrow land and beyond. High above - you owned the place. Steal a kiss, people watch, watch the rides, look far beyond.

Alien Encounter-- loved that thing.

Also, at Disneyland, the Rocket Rods. I went on them when I was 9 and WAY too scared of them. I would enjoy them now, but of course they're gone.

Now if only we could forward this poll along to WDW and ask them to comply with our general consensus.

Great poll idea btw! :thanks:

skyway was cool, but i really miss Ailen Encounter i was not scared of that ride even as a kid it was jus awesome!

I certainly loved the Skyway. It was a great birds eye view!
