I paid a total of 26.62 for both the cake and the goodie bag with taxes. I paid 15.00 for the cake and 9.99 for the goodie bag. We called the dining line and they marked it on the reservations. :)

You mean the line where you make ADR's? Did you have to pay for it when you called or did they include it on your bill , also if you dont mind about how big was the cake, in the picture it looks like it a pretty good size.
Thanks for the info:flower3:

Yes, we called the ADR line and ordered them there. I paid when they we received them at the restaurant.

Here is a pic of the cake out of the box. Not as big as it looks but still an ok size for us. Me, DH, DD(2) and DD(1) we all had a slice.

Can you get the treasure box cakes or goodie bags delivered to the room or at T rex resturant? If not, we will be having breakfast on my son's birthday Tusker house and I guess we will have it then. TIA

The new "Celebration" add-ons are not available everywhere. The Deluxe Goodie bag is not available at Boma but the standard one is. Check HERE to get a good idea of where the various add-ons are available. When you call Disney Dining they can let you know if the restaurant you are asking about offers it and they will notate it on the ADR.

It looks like it is available at Tusker House but not T-Rex (which isn't WDW owned/operated)

This is the princess cake I ordered for my DD's first birthday celebration. (I ordered the goodie bag for my 2 year old DD so she did not feel left out) I ordered it to be delivered to Chef Mickeys the last full day. They read the information wrong so they first brought out the cupcake they give out. Then she went to bring me out our check and I said I also ordered the princess cake box and she did some checking and brought this out for us. The goodie bag was given to us as soon as we arrived. They keep these cakes in the freezer so ours just came out of the freezer so it was cold and kind of hard. My daughters ate the cupcake but left most of this cake. I tried both and because of the freshness the cupcake was better. It was super cute though and my girls got excited when it came out.

So this is the celebration cake that you can now order from Disney? Will they deliver it to any ADR you have on property?

See post 2124 above for link to see where they offer the Celebration add-ons.

I am a tad bit surprised by these cakes. I thought they would be something different:confused3 I was expecting those little necklaces hanging over the edges and not expecting it to be IN a box I just expected it to look like a box. I am not sure what I was thinking :lmao: I guess I am going to spend a little bit more and grab one at boardwalk.

Thanks katieam1 for posting the great pictures!:thumbsup2
Glad to finally see what the Princess Jewelry Box Cake looks like.

On the first cake thread there is a white choc. mickey and minnie with some roses on a choc. cake. I would like the M&M with the roses and some choc covered strawberries. We are eating at CG, Narcoossee's, Ohana's, so CR, GF and Poly. Who would you call? Thanks

Does anyone know where I would call to order a custom cake for Ohanas?

Call Ohana's direct and talk with the Pastry Chef (he is from Alliance OHIO) he awesome!!!

We had him and I can't remember the Chef's name now but they both were the Bomb at making up a great Dessert for us on the spot. if you read back a couple of posts it explains all. This way I don't have to bore everyone again.

I would very much like to order a Red Velvet cake w/some sort of Cream Cheese frosting. This would be for DD's celebration B-day, next week. We are eating at the following places: LTT, The Wave, Chef de France, Fultons, Olivia's, 50's and Donald's. Does anyone know if any of these places would have that? Or do I have to call each restaurant directly? Orrrr is there just one number I can actually call to find this out myself. Thanks for any info. :)

Thanks so much for the pics.

So does anyone know exactly which restaurants you can order the pirate and princess add ons? I tried to search but couldnt find it anywhere.

We are going in March and I would like to do these for the kids but we have our ADR's set already so I am not sure if any of the restaurants are the ones on the list.

I think this is kind of cool to be able to do these add ons.

Thanks in advance.

We had a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling for our anniversary last month. It was delivered to our room at YC.

I called private dining there and after talking to a few CM's, I was given the email address for the pastry chef. I emailed him what I wanted, along with pictures and my phone number. He called me back and we talked for about 15min. He was WONDERFUL to work with!!!

Our cake was a custom cake and did cost a little more. I'm not sure about any of the restaurants where you're dining, but you could call them and ask.

okay, you can laugh at me because I'm confused!

I ordered a cake at CRT in 2006 with a pic of mickey and friends on it. I am interested in doing somthing similar this June. Did I not read somewhere on here that the price on these types of cakes have increased greatly?
