What is the Origin of Your DIS Screen Name?

My name? C'mon......I AM a disney-super-mom. :thumbsup2

Here I was thinking it was because you look so much like Elasto-Girl... :rolleyes1

Well...I'm still doing my trips over and over...and hoping it never stops. Guess that makes me QueenDoOver...

Disneyluvr2 is the name I use on ebay. Since everyone here loves Disney I thought it was appropriate because, well, I'm a Disneyluvr2!

Mine dates back to VMK too. For me the Cheshire Cat is the ultimate Disney characterization of an enigma--is he a villain or is he a good guy? All depends on your point of view...:confused3

Anyhow, I consider myself to be a rather complex person; AIW was my favorite Disney movie as a kid; and I love pink and purple, so all in all it works for me.

But, if I had it to do over again, I would probably pick something with Stitch in it, as he's truly my favorite character and perhaps a more accurate depiction of the kinda girl I really am.

Nothing too original here and it matches my license plate...my initials AC:love:DSNY. That says it all! Luckily most of my family is the same way.

This is fun reading! My screen name doesn't need any explaining.....but I do remember a discussion around here awhile ago where I found out that not everyone likes kettle corn. I would not have thought that possible! ;-) Thanks for starting the thread Hydroguy....
P.S. Where is Bumbershoot? I have always wondered about that one.

I am one of those people that don't like kettle corn! I know, crazy, right? :sad2: I just don't like my popcorn to taste sweet. It's just supposed to be salty! My mom thinks I'm nuts because she LOVES it.

Anyway, originally I wanted my screen name to be something Beauty and the Beast because it is my favorite animated movie and I just ADORE Belle. However, when I was lurking on the boards I saw that a lot of people had Beauty and the Beast themed nicknames so I decided to go completely opposite and do something science-related since I'm a chemist.

When I was in college, I used to watch a show on the cartoon network called Dexter's Lab. He was a kid scientist that built a huge laboratory in his house (his parents were totally clueless). He had a sister named DeeDee who would always manage to screw up whatever he had going on. She was cute and perky and funny and I always loved Dexter's response to anything she did: "DeeDee you are stuuuuuupid." Such a juvenile response and yet so true. I wish I could say that to people sometimes.

So in honor of stupid DeeDee: Dexter's Lab + DeeDee = DexLabDeeDee. That's her picture to the left.

It's one I use for most of my user names....zoe is my daughter, she's the youngest in our family and she made our family a family of 5, thus...zoemakes5. Though, many people have thought I have 5 kids.

I've been a member of the boards for awhile, but have just started to post (I know, what have I been waiting for? :confused3 Beats me!)

Anyway, my name comes from the fact that I'm a huge Hanson fan (yes, like the 90's long-haired MMMBop boys :goodvibes). YES, they're still together. YES, they're still making (better than ever) music. Ask me if you'd like to know anything more about 'em, because Lord knows I probably have the answer!

Anyway, "Where's The Love?" is one of their earlier songs, and even though its a simple, fun, juvenile-sounding song, I like the message. Plus, I'm sort of a hippie, so I'm an advocate of spreading the love :hippie:.

In the case of these boards, Disney love! :woohoo:

My sister uses "Where's The Love?" as her sarcastic catch phrase when commenting about minor wrong events like seeing a family melt down at WDW or something.

Sounds like something I'd say, too...followed by a giggle to myself because I made a "Hanson" reference. :goodvibes

I'm really not that obsessed, I promise. :rolleyes1

I have always been a die hard DL fan. When I married for a second time I decided it was my duty to indoctrinate my dh to the likes of DL. Well dh is a engineer and well engineers are you know are practical, methodical people who really don't think of frivolous flowery (his words not mine lol) things like DL. Well I finally convinced him to go and well I literally had to drag him to the airport to fly to DL. Hence my username drag n' fly lol.:lmao:

:rotfl2: That's hilarious!

I think mine is one of the easier one's to figure out..... In high school, some of my DH's friends nicknamed him Jernyman (Jerny is a variation of our last name). They called him Jerny for short and the nickname stuck. Later in life, I then became Jerny's girl... hence "jernysgirl". :thumbsup2
