Oh, I looked up the lake you went to....what a beautiful place!

Yes, it is!! We had a fabulous weekend!!
Our son got an offer of a position at the law firm he was interning at for next year after he passes the bar....I can't wait to go visit him and do some exploring!

Congrats to your son!! Is this a local Palo Alto firm?

Okay, so while I was NOT stalking my postman, he finally came. I watched from the window (wouldn't you know I was on a call when he arrived) as he put a big envelop into my mailbox....finished the call...ran to the mailbox....took forever to open the silly envelop...my Passporter arrived...no cruise docs.

I didn't think about it, but we went through a TA, too. Hope we don't have to wait too much longer! In the meantime, I'll console myself in putting together my Passporter! It's starting to feel real! One month from today we arrive in Barcelona!

I know both of them are very busy with work right now and may not check in, so I'll answer for them. Yes, they are traveling together, well at least once they reach Barcelona. Once is coming from California, the other from Georgia.

and last night I finally managed to win the formal dress I have been after for ages on Ebay. DH's purple shirt for villains night arrived today too. Things are finally coming together. Just have my villains dress to find now and a few bits and pieces and we're done.

Love those dresses on eBay . . .that's where I got mine last trip (and still have it). Guess i have to go and see if they'll fit. Haven't lost the weight I had planned to lose (or didn't follow through on losing) for this trip. No worries . . ., but no commando for me . ..LOL

I had a bit of trauma on the way home from the Girlie Weekend. After all the DVC talk over the weekend, I felt inspired to do a bit of planning for next year. I had WiFi access on the train, I went on the My Vacation Points section on the DVC website to check just how many points I have for next year and realized in horror that the points I thought I had banked in March never were banked. I know that I did this online, but due to a glitch either my end or their end, the transaction was never completed. Unfortunately my banking deadline was 31st July. To say that I was in a bit of a panic is the understatement of the year. As soon as I got home, I rang DVC Member Services to see what my options are. They decided to spread some pixie dust and banked the points for me. So the weekend still ended on a high note..

We just had dinner and are now chilling out with a glass of wine and a DVD.

Probably tomorrow before Pony Express gets it to Montana. Our shirts from Todd came a day after everyone else. Our mail does not come until after 12:30 and on Monday often not until 4:30. I'm patiently waiting though!

I just read/heard that a couple of letters sent via the PE were just delivered a couple of weeks ago? At least they are still getting the post out.

I only paid $1 and then of course shipping, so for a total of $7.89, I will have a tux for my Pal Mickey!! I have material so I can make a cumberbund and bow tie!!

Didn't someone offer a Cat 9 on deck 1? I think that would be a cool cabin to add to the tour as it does look different in those.

Lots of people offered LOTS of cabins
And I asked the thread lots of times did we want more than 1 cabin from each catogery and nobody replied

So will I add that one to the list?I dont want any body moaning when the list is too long

Just got my document is South Carolina. I guess it means we really are travelling in 4 weeks.

THe San Franscisco area. The law firm is Simon and Thacker They are in Palo Alto. It is so beautiful around there! And there's wine tasting.

What kind of law will he be practicing? I will have to pick you brain as DD Samantha is just getting ready to apply to law schools this fall. I have not heard of Simon and Thacker but sounds like a great firm!!

on our last airplane flight, TSA inspected my bag and left a note in it saying they had, but they lost one of my sandals! There I was on the Magic in Dover with only one sandal! Good thing they didn't lose one of my good shoes!

Not your shoes......I really would hate them to lose any of my shoes!

I'm thrilled that our friends across the pond got them first! I'm more than ready for mine now!

Our last cruise................

Our house is up a lane in the country that no sat nav will ever find.

I told Dad, if your docs come ask for ours >..........

I told him 10 times, Mum told him.

Dad phoned, he said .....guess what I got today?

I was hyper, cruise docs, did you get ours, no he syas I got so excited I forgot....he never got excited, he just forgot..

Man, I love my Dad, he is hilarious, it took another 7 dyas, before we got ours

So I am going to go tonight and give him the speel.

They arrived US Postal Mail from Orlando! I'm sure you'll have it in your Hatboro mailbox when you get home!! The personalized information states the booklet was printed based on my reservation info as of August 11, so that's likely when it was printed.

BTW...under the "Vacation Checklist" section, it states the following:

Also, I'm sad to say that they're still saying we're only at CC from 11:15 to 4:30. (Boo!)

I still have 3-1/2 hours before I can get out. AND I have to stop on the way home!! I can't wait to get home to see if they are there

Course, I have to remember that for some reason my entire familiy will get an invitation, etc one whole day before I get it delivered to me. Hopefully this won't happen this time.
