The Disney Photo Bomb Thread!

We were walking through the Swiss Family Treehouse, and my DD was taking a picture of me, and this lady decided she wanted to get in my pic!:rotfl:

I've decided that if I see anyone taking pictures that has a LGMH I'm going to jump in their shot. :rotfl2: Is that ok? Then I can tell them to come post it here -- after I offer to take a good picture of their whole family, of course. :goodvibes

I'm pretty sure a number of people have me smiling in the background of their pictures from my last trip. It's difficult when people in front of you whip out a camera to take pictures of themselves and you're in the background. You've already seen the camera. It's too late to move without looking like a goober, best you can do is smile. :goodvibes

That being said, this guy in WWOHP at Islands of Adventure is totally smiling and looking right into my camera!

Lots of these photos are hilarious - I'll have to look at our last trip's photos again for any photobombers now. :)

I don't have the pics any more, I erased them (and wouldn't publish for sake of privacy) but when I got home and checked out photopass I had about 4 pics in my account of people I don't know. Not sure how they linked to my account but I was like "who are these people?"

This happens from time to time - you did the best thing by deleting them from your account. That way, they hopefully got returned to their rightful owner by the PhotoPass peeps. :hippie:

I had this picture of my sister's family when we were there for our parents' 50th anniversary. I was making a slideshow as a keepsake for our parents and didn't want the other people in the boat. It took a little doing, but this is how I "un-bombed" the picture!!!

Great job! I'm gonna have to try that!

We were at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area at DHS. My DD4 was having trouble climbing onto the ant. An older boy came along and helped her up. I was expecting him to then move away, but he stayed and posed for a photo, so I took one of both of them. After a week of posing with all kinds of random character, my normally shy DD just took this one in stride.

I'm late to this thread but wanted to say I loved this pic/story.

People were going AROUND this area as there was a line of people wanting a photo. This lady just strolled right thru when it was my turn.LOL

I too love this story and picture!! What I would photoshop out is the woman in the BRIGHT pink bikini top in the lower right corner... Hmmm.. I didn't know there was a pool in the honey I shrunk the kids playground!!...:dance3:

Anyway, Great picture otherwise!

We were chosen to be in the parade at Animal Kingdom in Oct. They had a photopass photographer take pics for us. When I was going through our pics I noticed this one...

One of the castmembers that was dancing behind the float photobombed our pic. It has got to be one of my most favorite pics because of that. He was the one that took us to our float and we had lots of fun talking to him before the parade started and we had an Amazing time in the parade.

I know this guy did not set out to ruin our picture and I didn't even notice when I was taking this picture that he was in it (he was taking a picture of his family with Minnie) but we have affectionately named him "bonus dad".

I love this...where can I get a bonus dad? :lmao:

I've enjoyed this thread... don't have any pics to share yet, but I'll probably have a million after our trip. (First timers headed to WDW 5/27-6/2) I do have to say, I don't have a sense of humor when it comes to anyone just jumping into people's pictures, either right in front of the camera or standing next to the subjects. Accidentally getting caught in someone's picture is one thing. Rudely strolling through when you know someone's trying to set up a shot is different, and just throwing yourself into someone else's picture or making stupid faces when you KNOW you're in someone else's shot is unbelivably rude. Why waste someone else's film or camera space when they are trying to capture pictures of their loved ones? Seriously.

Now the inviting random people into your pics or joining someone if they invite you- great! Loved that idea and that picture. I think it makes for a good story. Otherwise, people should stay the heck out of people's photos! :)

I know, I know. Lighten up. :)

Yep, lighten up or your trip might be a disappointment. I can't tell you how many times I had to grab my husband's arm to keep him from walking into someone's picture. He tends to look at the goal ahead and go for it while I tend to see what is going on around me. So, just be patient and retake pictures if you need to. Don't let not getting the perfect picture ruin your trip. You might come home and laugh at some of the "obliviots" in your photos. :thumbsup2

I agree with the above poster. I have walked in someones way, my dh has...and my kids. This last trip, my son TOTALLY walked in on a pic this family of Mexican decent were taking. I said I am sorry at least a million times, the family laughed it off and showed me the pic. My kid will forever be their "white kid" in WDW. The dad asked his name so they could say "oh that Nathan". :rotfl:
