The Port Report: Frumpin Around the World with the Bathrobe Princesses :) COMPLETE

Don't feel bad. That's pretty much how things go every time I try to cook. I could even mess up the bagel bites, I'm sure.:rotfl:

:cool1:

Now, let's not get too technical, this conversation is going long enough LOL The effect I'm looking for is the one you used for the title to the whole video, you used it on the first video for the first day and also on the last video of the last day. It was the first effect you used. Maybe, I'll screencap it to make it easier... Here it is:

Untitled1.jpg

The title openings I found are pretty boring, so I wanted to see if there were better ones I could find. Hope this whole "search-for-the-effect" isn't becoming a bit annoying LOL

Oh, that's awesome! I can't wait to read that. I just love that place, I had so much fun at the hotel. That TR is still in progress actually, but it's old :/ Hope you have a great time at BLT (though it is months away LOL) ! :-)

Ah! Easy Enough! Look at the top bar and you will see in the middle a "Title" button. (it's above caption) Click on Title. Then it gives you all of those options, so scroll down the list, and it's either the 2nd, 3rd 4th, or 5th one in, depending on what you want! That was not annoying at all! Don't worry! I hope you can find it :) I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you... i had to go on my other computer to look it up and I literally haven't had a moment in like... 10 straight days! Sorry about that!

And oh, I agree! It's great! I'll have to look at the TR! And aww thank you!! I can't wait until my trip! I can make my reservations in TWO DAYS!!!!!

Got a bit carried away with the cooking? Haha Well, it sounds like you had fun. I would've liked to see your schoolbread come out nice and read your rating on it. I have yet to try many Disney desserts (shame on me :guilty:) and the School bread looked good. :-) Sorry you never got to have the brownie cupcakes, they looked really nice :D Can't wait to *sniffle* read the last segment in your TR :goodvibes

Haha oh my gosh... seriously though. We did. We get carried away with things sometimes  I wish we could have offered better results... but at least I warned you by putting "fail" in the title. :rotfl:
And I will get that up soon! I have to do graduation, and then the last one! :( WAH! But then I get to start my mother daughter TR! Woohoo!

Don't feel bad. That's pretty much how things go every time I try to cook. I could even mess up the bagel bites, I'm sure.:rotfl:

Haha thanks for making us feel better :lmao: I don't think culinary school is in either of our futures... unless we become the taste testers or something :rotfl2:

Oh... wow! How did I not notice that? Well, thanks! :-) And it's okay, I understand. People don't have boring starts to summer like I do LOL

I'd love to hear what you think of my TRs, but I won't force you. :-) Wow, that's awesome! I wish I had could just make some reservations for Disney right now, but of course, I'm not going to be going anytime soon :(

Haha it's okay! You might have missed the scrolling down part because it kind of blends in!
And I will take a look at them next time I catch up on my TR reading! Aww I wish you were going soon! :( It's so fun! Making the reservations is my favorite part! I've actually never made them 180 days in advance... but that's about to change tomorrow morning! :woohoo:

Agree in that don't feel bad about the recipes not turning out the way they were supposed to. It still must have been fun cooking together ;)

I actually finally figured out, while I have Live Movie Maker, I don't have the newest version, which you have, so this was really a searching in the wrong places kind of thing, LOL Once I have that downloaded, then I'll be able to use those newer effects :thumbsup2

Awesome :-) It's totally okay that I'm not going soon, but I do have next May to look forward to :cloud9: And what I say to you making reservations 180 days in advance is... better late than never :teeth:

Lol! Traumatic cooking experience much? :) I do that all the time!!!! I'll find this great amazing recipe online and then try to make it and epic fail :) Like this past valentine's day....I wanted to make creme brulee for dessert, but I forgot to temper the eggs before I put them in, so I had scrambled egg creme brulee :( FAIL! Lol!

At least the rest of the dinner turned out good :)

Sounds like a difficult night of cooking. I bet it was still at least a little fun, even if it didn't turn out right. And you have convinced me to never ever try to make schoolbread. :rotfl:

Haha thank you. It was. We will definitely always remember that night :rotfl: So hilarious.

And hey, next May is not too bad! It'll be here before you know it I'm sure! Yay!

Haha oh I'm so glad you understand us. And hahaha oh no!! :( Poor creme brulee! That's so sad! But that dinner looks delicious so I'm sure that made up for it :thumbsup2

Haha it was fun.... but yes. Learn from our mistakes and just let the professionals take care of the schoolbread. :rotfl:

Chapter 31 - "Now It's Time To Say Goodbye..."
January 19th, 2011

We made our way back to the other half of the world and stopped at the French Bakery for last minute snacks. We had 7 snack credits left that we had to use up!

Vick and I got croissants and bottles of water.

Kristen got a Sacristan. Is that how it's spelled? I'm not really sure.

dsc0895j.jpg

But there she met her love, Alexandre. The boy working in the French Bakery. She thought he was really cute. When she asked for her pastry she said "can I have one of... those things?" (considering it's difficult to say) And he wouldn't give it to her until she attempted to pronounce the name of the pastry. PRECIOUS. There are some good looking boys working the World Showcase, I have to say.

And good looking food, too!

Then we met up with Mother and she decided to run back over to Morocco to buy a bag that she saw. Then we headed out of Epcot.

We bought gummies at the Epcot gift shop near the International Gateway and we got Mickey Rice Krispies at the Yacht Club Gift Shop. Perfect! All of our Snack Credits got used up!

Sadly, it was time to go get our luggage and wait for the saddest ride of all rides - The Magical Express trip BACK to the airport. :(

dsc0900u.jpg

None of us wanted to leave! We tried everything we could to somehow get mother to let us stay, but alas, it didn't work.

dsc0910n.jpg

The Magical Express Bus came and we sat in the front row. Goodbye YaCHt Club.

dsc0909v.jpg

We talked to this really nice family on the ride and told them about DVC. They told us how much they love staying Club Level, but they always just pay for it! Wow! That's insane. Although I love Club Level, I would feel extremely guilty paying for it outside of DVC! They are brave souls.

We watched the movie on the way back. And then we had to step back into the Real World - The Orlando Airport.

We checked our bags and got through security without a problem. Then we went to our gate - Gate 5 - and stayed there for a while.

We went and got sandwiches. No more Disney Food.... Or so we thought.

The family sitting across from us brought Disney Food to eat in the airport. Kristen and I assessed their food and concluded that we thought it was from Pizzafari.

My Mom started talking to them and we found out that their food was indeed from Pizzafari! Yay for Dis-power. And want to know the best part?! They had a whole extra vegetable pizza! And they offered it to us! Of course we said yes, even though we just had sandwiches :rotfl: I don't think refusing Disney food is in our nature. That was so kind of them! I should have taken a picture.

After that little last bit of pixie dust, we called up our friend Nat and talked to her on the phone. We missed her so much! We couldn't wait to tell her all about our trip!

Then, of course, something was bound to happen. Our flight kept getting delayed! It was originally at 6:30 pm, then 6:45 pm, then 6:55 pm, THEN 7:14 pm! Wow.

We finally got on the plane. And the pilot was like "This plane is going to a place that is 22 Degrees! Are you sure this is where you all want to go? If this is a mistake, get off NOW!" haha if only we could have.

Vick was sitting next to a guy who seemed a little sketch on the plane. It made her nervous because he didn't talk and didn't have any luggage. Weird. But the lady sitting next to Mom said that she thinks he speaks Spanish. He ended up being harmless, thank God!

That lady also told Mother all about her Disney Cruise! She seemed to like the idea! So hopefully we can go on one some day!

So eventually the plane took off and we flew home. Goodbye sunny Florida.

WAHHH NOOO!!! :sad1:

That was one of the saddest moments of our lives.

We got home and landed. And it was cold. And snowy. And we wanted to go back.

We dropped Vickie off at her house and then Kristen slept over at my house. We had to go to school the next morning.

*Sigh* I can't believe it's over. But wow, we had the trip of a lifetime, didn't we!?

Stay tuned for one last wrap-up update!

Awww... over already! Well, it was a great time for you all and I really enjoyed reading your TR... I've probably said this a billion times already, but whatever :D Now to the benefits of the DP, the extra snack credits you have. We went crazy with those at the end of my first trip we had so many. I don't think we even used them all. :confused3 And that's so nice of those people to give you some Pizzafari. Any way to get Disney food :thumbsup2 And 22 degrees coming back... I feel your pain, that's how cold it was when I got back from my most recent trip. :sad2: Can't wait to read your final thoughts! :mickeyjum

Awww the last day is always so sad, but yay for all the yummy snack credits you got to spend.

Lol about Kristen and the guy in the french bakery, I love the world showcase CM's.

Too funny about the food at the airport, and yay for getting some last minute disney food.

How exciting that your mom liked the idea of a disney cruise, my parent's are going on one in January and I am so jealous lol.

Can't wait for your last post:goodvibes

So sad that the trip is over :( You gotta love hardcore Dis fans that bring a whole pizza through security haha. I've heard of some crazy things but that was a first for me! I'm sure Orlando security just loves what they see on a daily basis haha.

I also love the French Bakery :)

Oh no, such sad faces! That's exactly how I look when it's time for me to leave!

I am totally with you, I could not justify paying for Club level. Having DVC definitely makes a huge difference.

I hate when trips end, It really is super depressing! I hate when you go through the welcome gates and see the front side of them after you pass through them.

Oh our cooking fail....by the end of the night we were both just laughing/crying hysterically. We were completely delirious. :rotfl:

I think we were finding yeast in the most random places for weeks after that day. :rotfl2:

The cheesecake and the custard part of the school bread turned out great though! We were just completely drained and had no energy left to finish. LOL.

Those brownie cupcakes probably would have tasted good though.

At the end of the day, all you really need is some bagel bites and it's all good. :thumbsup2

AND OH NOOOOO!!!!!!! It can't be the end of this most beautiful of all the TR's in the history of TR's. :scared1:

I may cry...:sad2: :sad1:

Oh my French boy. He was soo cute, Princess Caitlin would appreciate him. :thumbsup2

And my Sacristan was actually really delicious! It was a new thing for me, obviously. It could have been the food of the day if it weren't for the fact that I didn't eat it until the next morning at breakfast. :upsidedow

Look at our little sad faces...I really feel so sad right now! I need to go read a happier update to cheer me up! At least we got free Pizzafari at the airport! :wizard:

I hate when recipes don't turn out the way you expect! Especially when you want to take them somewhere. I am still impressed that you even tried to make the cupcakes and the schoolbread!

What a cute story about the Alexandre making Kristen try to pronounce the French word. I also would have said "can I have one of...those things"!

You all look so sad on the way home. Leaving is definitely the worst.

That was so nice of that family to share their pizza with you at the airport.:goodvibes Sounds like you had a good flight home, even if you did have to go home to 22 degrees!

Oh no on it being time to go :sad2:

Love all the snacks you got and yay on having a tiny bit of pixie dust at the airport with being offered Disney food!

Hope you get to go on a cruise one day :)

Great last day...On a very happy note-- no snow currently for the end of your TR!!

We pick up food before boarding Magical Express to take to the airport. There, we sit outside of the Disney store and eat our meal before going through security or if it isn't time to eat, we take it on the plane - obviously not drinks, though...it accomplishes two things. First, we use our cs credits and second, we ease out of the Disney magic!
