So excited for you Brenda! Have fun in the parks! Happy early Anniversary by the way! We are doing our final shopping today, and getting everything packed up. I did a ton of laundry yesterday. I always wash everything before it goes into a suitcase even if I pulled it out of a drawer. It's the best way I've found to have everything in one place at one time.
My Graduation ceremony is tomorrow evening and then Friday is my last minute finalization. We take the 9:07am bus to Denver International Airport Saturday morning! This is SO exciting!

Thanks, Sam. I washed everything as well. Going to be doing a house cleaning tonight, washing bed linen, towels, rugs and such. Want to come back to a clean, fresh-feeling house.

Have fun at your graduation and congratulations. I know, isn't so exciting. I don't know how I am going to make it through work tomorrw.

Today was my last day of work until October!!

We moved into our new house this weekend, and I still have tons of boxes sitting around. I am going to work on it some tomorrow, and pay bills, etc before we leave, but whatever doesn't get unpacked tomorrow is staying that way. I need Friday to concentrate on packing and getting ready for the trip as we fly to LAX on Saturday!!! I have been so overwhelmed with moving that I haven't had much time to think about the fact that we are leaving in 3 days!!!!!!!

Since I'm a local and it's a short drive to the port I've only done some pre-packing. Tomorrow's my last day at work before our trip so I'll complete laundry on Friday and finish packing on Saturday. I may consider heading to DLR and/or DCA on Friday. Safe travels everyone.

So I wanted to do a pre-run to port of LA. So some buddy’s and I went for a ride. We road out where the Wonder will berth at pier 93, easy to get to. Took the 91 to 710 from the IE, went over the Vincent Thomas Bridge, exited Harbor and it drops you off close to the pier. To the right of the pier/ terminal is the USS IOWA. WOW what a ship. We may do a tour after the cruise.

This week is going to fell like the longest week ever. It seams like time is standing still. Is it the 16th yet!!

You may want to hold off on that tour. An article I read (DailyBreeze.com) just a few days ago said it was only like 15% open. In a year, it shoud be 90% to 95% open. At this time it may be a waste of $$ since you're local, which it sounds like you are.

FE is short for Fish Extender..there is a little fish by the door and you can hang things on it, so folks make hanging pockets and then join a group to exchange little gifts during the cruise. I believe the group for this cruise closed quite some time ago to let people have enough time to get together stuff to give out.

We decided to let our daughter know by having Goofy or Mickey call her while we are at Disneyland on Saturday. She should be in 7th heaven for the 20ish hours between that and when we board.

We are DVC members using our points for this cruise, and got a call from our cruise guide. He mentioned that this cruise is a Pixar Cruise, and a bit different than the other cruises. John Lasseter will be onboard, and lots of Pixar characters. They will be showing all the Pixar movies, and shorts, and sneak peaks at the new films.

Can't believe we are leaving in just a few days. Today we are finishing up the FE's and starting to pack. Nails and hair done, laundry done. Our DS is so excited.

Going to try to finish packing today, then my graduation is tonight. Then tomorrow I'm going to unpack everything and compare it to my list one more time just to be sure nothing is forgotten. I made address lable type things to put on my FE gifts, but you don't have to. We decided it was at your discretion. A picture would be pretty cool.

We are so excited! Only two work days left (and school days for my little ones), packing to do and they have a taekwondo tournament on Saturday. Then first thing Sunday morning we will be on our way.

Last question, how do you carry the FE's onboard? Are they in your carry on or in your suitcase. We are starting to pack and wondered which would be best.
