I dunno its a lot of pages and I seriously got bored about 7 sets in with the MAW ones. I have 2 days to think about it.

It is a lot of pages. 96 total. I'm going to order a box of large flat rate boxes when we get closer. I hope we can fit 100 pages in one of them!!

I'm working on one spot at a time.. I usually like to jump between spots...but this time I'm doing it by paycheck...
I'll buy all supplies on pay day.. then have 13 days to finish that spot before next pay day..
I'll have all my background pages bought early! :wink:

I know in swaps past, I have bought...and then forgot I bought stuff and bought more than I needed..

Nancy I'm with you. I too forget that I buy things and find them later. for Maw I went out and bought all the paper for my set and forgot all about it as I bought at the same time as my sister's. Now I have 32 yellow papers that I will probably not use fast enough.

Ugh, struggling to find sketches for the themes. I want it all matched up before I pick so I don't end up lost.

I have 3 picked so far. I will do the other 2 tomorrow.

Nan, this sounds like a fantastic idea. Maybe we can keep each other on track and on budget by doing it this way.

My goal will be to pick my sketches to go with my choices today and organize a background paper supply list. That way I can order from my new supplier tomorrow Love that I need 24 sheets and can order in 25 packs!

YAY My meeting for thursday at 9am got cancelled so I can post for myself but a HUGE Thank You for got to "spot" me tomorrow..


So I want to make sure I understand right.. We each are picking 4 spots total - make dbl pg LO's - x 12 people (or however many join) and we pick our own sketch (from someplace on the net or a book) right? and what we get back is 48 MK double layout pages rides and lands?
EEKS now I am thinking too much.. so I would be making 12 Main Street USA double page layouts right as an example?

Yes, you are right...

make sure your sketches meet the criteria in the original post when selecting your sketches..

Off to read them again myself and make sure the sketches I have picked I can do what is required...

Waiting to see your pics and questions Nan. I have some questions about layouts too. I love a lot of the layouts that you posted with the pinterest link. They are gorgeous, but seem to be pretty set on the orientation and placement of the pieces and pictures. Is everyone going to be able to work with pieces that specific?

Ok, here is my question (s).... sorry thought of something else on the way through my sketch selection process...
1. do we need a journal box on both pages??
2. we need at least 2-4x6 photos per page.. can we use additional sizes if we already have the 2 photos on each page.. add a 2x2, or 4x4, similar..
3. for photo mats.. do you want traditional photo mats or like a place holder at 4.25 x 6.25 so that it mats your photo??

so, lets say I chose this LO..

On the left side side I have 2 -4x6 and the journal box area and the title will be there… I of course would add all the paper layers and some extra embellishments..
** see question #3 for clarification on photo mats.

On the right side, we include all the layers to match the sketch.. and then I would include 2 additional 4x6 photo mat/placements **related to questions above**. I would also include the embellishments..
~ or do I adhere all the layers on page 2.. and leave the photo spaces, embellishments loose so you can place the way that works best for you...

I found a gorgeous sketch that calls for a 5x7 on the title page but has 2 or 3-4x6’s on the opposite page.. could we do that??
