4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

I have never been in any of the Italy stores. I will have to check that out next time.

I never realized the show in America had animatronics mixed in with it. I assumed it was just a regular film, which is why I never bothered. It looks really interesting. About how long do you think it was?

While I have you here :upsidedow, can you elaborate on the ticker in your signature? Are you taking a mini trip to DL for the holidays? Who is going? Where you staying? God, i am nosey, sorry

It was pretty good....I would have liked history better in school if it had been presented this way.....lol It took 20-30 tops (didn't really notice the time). The seats were comfortable & the temperature was just right!!

Aah, the ticker......well nothing is set in stone (or even started on yet). We MAY have a wonderful opportunity down there (Disneyland) and it would be Mike & I going....maybe just for the day....but I'm hoping for 2 nights if we can swing it. Not sure where the money is going to come from for us to go......but we'll figure something out if the opportunity comes to us. Can't really elaborate more at this time.

Love the updates! I swear I could gain weight from the pictures of the food! EPCOT has so many cool things.

Awwww! I love all the pictures, the food makes me so hungry, I LOVED Germany, you are right they give you big portions! The American attraction is one of my favorites too, the song makes me cry! I can't wait to go, even if it's such a long time off, it will give us plenty of time to plan for it!

I totally get it!

.....thought you might!! ;)

I couldn't believe the amount of food for a counter service!! (and it was delicious!!)

I love all the quotes...makes me proud to be an American.

Me too!! You walk a little taller after you leave the show too!

That sounds like good amount of time. I think we will definitely check that out in Feb :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing what info you were able to. Good luck with whatever it may be :)

We made a stop at the Espresso Coffee & Pastries booth to get a Food & Wine drink.

The Shakin' Jamaican Coffee~~Coffee with Kahlua & frozen!

Yum!

Another picture of the American Adventure Building.

The HOPS & BARLEY Market.

While I was in line, Mike got a couple more pics of the American Adventure Building.

We got the Grilled Lobster Tail with Garlic Herb Butter. I almost laughed when I saw the size of this.......it has to be the smallest lobster tail I've ever seen.......lol It was ok....nothing special. We used a snack credit here ($7.50)

The FLORIDA Food & Wine booth. We didn't get anything here.

As we entered the Japan area.

As we entered Japan, we noticed that Miyuki the Ame Zaiku artist (candy artist) was just finishing up....so Mike got up close enough to get these pics!!

The koi pond.

Statue.

Japan wares for sale.

Japan Food & Wine booth. We didn't get anything here.

More of Japan.

Morocco Food & Wine booth. We didn't get anything here either.

Looking across the lake.

Morocco~~The only pavilion in which the country's government aided in the design. King Hasan II sent Moroccan artisans to design & create the many mosaics. The government also sponsors the pavilion while corporations holds the sponsor rights to every other pavilion in the World Showcase.

The marketplace.

Restaurant Marrakesh Menu.

More around the Moroccan pavilion.

New Zealand's Food & Wine booth. We didn't get anything here.

One more look at Morocco.

Across the lake.

Belgium Food & Wine booth. We didn't try anything here.

Les Chefs de France restaurant in France. Remy from Ratatouille appears a couple times a day here.....but I just read that he was going away and that would be stopping soon (if it hasn't happened already).

France Food & Wine stop. Mike was determined to try something new from here.

The Escargots Persillade an Brioche~~Garlic & Parsley Snails in Brioche. Now, there was three of these conveniently on the plate......but I just couldn't bring myself to eat snails! So Derek & Mike shared these. Their comments were mostly that all you could taste was the garlic. We used a snack credit on this.

Well manicured landscape.

Buildings in France.

One of the gift shops in France. A lot of the shops had perfumes, so we avoided those........stinky!

Across the lake.

We headed to the United Kingdom next.

We didn't get a pic....but we found one gift shop that was heavy with Beatles stuff also Rolling Stones & Monty Python, as well as other British favorites. When we came out of the shops, we noticed this chalk writing on the "street".

The phone booths. You actually can call them or answer them if you're there. The booth on the left~~(407)827-9862 The middle booth~~(407)827-9863 The booth on the right~~(407)827-9861

Ireland's Food & Wine booth. We are trying something from here.

We got the Lobster & Seafood Fisherman's Pie. This was packed with seafood & large lobster chunks and then topped with mashed potatoes. Very good!! We used a snack credit for this.

More pics of the UK.

How about some more pics across the lake?!!

Thanks Kelly!!

Koi ponds are always so relaxing......miss the one that used to be on the Disneyland Hotel grounds before they did their big remodel.

I thought it was a great way to announce the Alice meet-n-greets!!

The thing I noticed about Morocco was walking into the Marketplace was it was like walking thru street vendors. You didn't get that feeling in any of the other pavilions. (kinda reminded me of the Amazing Race)

Hi, Laurie!

I don't know when I'll have a chance to get caught up on the first 10 or 11 pages of this TR, but I wanted to get subscribed to the thread so I at least know where to find the darn thing when I have time!:rotfl2: The threads move so fast on this side of the board that I probably would have lost this thread overnight if I didn't get subscribed.

In any case, I am looking forward to reading about your experiences with all 4 parks, the restaurants you tried, the Food & Wine Festival, MNSSHP and the general Halloween 'season' at WDW, and of course, the inevitable comparison between WDW and DLR -- in other words, which things you like better at WDW and which things you like better at DLR. You covered a lot of ground in a very short period of time. I think I would have collapsed upon arriving home, not to be awakened for several days on end!:rotfl2:

I am also eager to know if this whirlwind, warp speed trip has now primed you and heightened your interest in once again trying to make that cancelled WDW holiday season trip happen, or if you think you are done with WDW for a while.
