Anxiously awaiting to be able to book our trip as a surprise for my husband who is retiring in April 2015, we are bringing my 2 grandsons (12 & 11) one of which will turn 11 during the trip, his granddaughter (6) and as a special surprise his daughter & her husband & 2 year old, can't wait to see the look on his face when they show up, but when will the rates come out for then?

We're planning a May 2015 trip, too!

May 11 - 18 at Pop to celebrate oldest daughter's college graduation. :cloud9:

Rates for 2015 SHOULD be out any day now, so keep checking.

Happy planning!

rates will be out July 30th, they released the date yesterday. I can not wait to book our May 2015 trip!

We are also going to be in DisneyWorld in May 2015. DH and I are taking our 2 Grandchildren. Ages 8 and 5. It's going to be a long winter of waiting.

We plan on going in August 2015. What do you guys do book your package and then wait for the discounts to come out ?

Us, too! We're going the end of May into June 2015. So excited! DH is not really that excited, he's going only because our DD has never been and wants to so badly. And, the kids don't know!

I booked the room only and have fingers crossed for a discount coming out early next year. We're booked for Bay lake view room at CR-YEAH! :cool1: Will get tickets from UT soon and book our flight when Southwest releases the dates. :woohoo:

Over here also!!! Heading to Pop may 11-16 for a girls only princess celebration week with my 15, 14, and 5 year old girls. So very excited!!!

274 Days to go .... until May 25 to June 1, 2015 trip to CR

Tick, tick, tick (I gotta get a faster clock)

I'll be there the first 2 days of May! I feel like 8 months is forever away. It'll be good, though. CRT will be back open, and hopefully I can nab BOG if I call first thing on Oct 27! *fingers crossed* Both are on my daughter's wish list.

So-any of you Disney Veterans have good ideas for how to help the time pass when you're 8 months out?

Roomie and I are about to book (as in, deposit going down after I post this) for Art of Animation 5/16-24. This is my 9th trip to WDW, but the first time more independent. Previous trips were either with my family or with the high school marching band with which I work.

Counting down the long time between now and arrival is going to be rough, but we're trying to break the time into smaller chunks where we can do things to keep the trip a part of our day-to-day. Things like counting down until ADRs can go through (11/17 here we come).

Currently planning my senior trip with my best friend for after we graduate! 5/21-5/28 SUPER EXCITED:cool1:

:wave2: I just booked 16-24. It will be my husband and I, our 3 boys (10, 8, 4), and possibly 1 or 2 of my good friends. I'm just so excited!

WDW will be the kick-off to our month long 25th Anniversary Disney vacation. We honeymooned at Disneyland in 1990 and stayed at a very old offsite motel. It was a luxury trip for us at the time, as we were just starting out. We have had several visits since then with our girls, but those were always budget-friendly trips, too. We live in Northern Canada and getting to Disney destinations is quite expensive for us. (either $1000/person return to fly to the international airport in Edmonton and then the costs of flights from there :scared1:, or a 11 hour drive to get to Edmonton , we always drove :drive:). We would rather have more time in Disney rather than spending the money on deluxe hotels and flights to Edmonton. With our girls, we don't spend much time at the hotels. It is a place mainly for sleeping after a long day in the parks.

Last year, DH and I started talking about taking a trip to celebrate our 25th. At first we talked about going to Europe and maybe doing a river cruise. After some research, we found it was beyond what we were willing to spend. We have been doing some renovations, and would like to eventually tear down our garage and build a new one. The cost of the Europe trip was nearly the amount we budgeted for our new garage! We would have had to pare it down to the cruise only and frankly between our drive to the airport, the flight to Europe, jet lag and the cost it made the trip feel really daunting. :crazy2: I started looking at some Disney cruises as a possible alternative, and we found that a deluxe one month Disney vacation for 2 of us was less expensive than one of us going to Europe on a river cruise for 2 weeks!

So, I took all what I have learned from Disboards :surfweb:and put it into action. We booked a 14-day Panama Canal cruise in May 2015 the day the schedule came out through DU. We got a cabin with a verandah for $5000!!!:dance3: plus we got a $200 onboard credit from DU. I managed to get business/first class airline tickets on points from Edmonton to Orlando and then Los Angeles to Edmonton. DH and I talked about hotels, and decided we were going to treat ourselves, as we have come pretty far since 1990. So, we booked the Beach Club resort from April 22 to 27 :beach:. Since we are not going to Europe, the short walk to Epcot will make up for it :goodvibes We are spending 2 nights at the Royal Pacific near US - I want to show DH the Harry Potter stuff :wizard:. We have 2 nights in Miami before heading out on our cruise on May 1st. We then check into the Disney Hotel in Anaheim on May 15 to 21.

I visit Disboard several times a week to get tips. I have been keeping a list on my iPhone such as ordering a Sunken Treasure drink at BC, the secret exit to from BC to Epcot, etc.

It is still 205 days away, but I am enjoying the anticipation, planning and having plenty of time to stash those American $$ away. :cloud9: We are looking forward to our celebration :hug:without breaking the bank. :woohoo:

Hello,

We are going in May too :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
16 to 23 at the BC and for the first time we'll be staying at the CL :yay::yay::yay:
So happy! Can't wait....
We're coming from Switzerland, so it's always a big trip for us and our DS (3)

Checking in! We will be meeting our DS, DDIL, DGS, 8 and DGS 4 May 1-9 - staying the first night at ASM, and then moving to SSR 2 bdrm for the rest of the trip. They are in Oregon and we are in Texas, so our visits are few and far between! I have it mostly planned with Touring Plans but have spent the past couple of weeks getting planning done for my bosses wife - their trip is in April and it is almost time to book their ADRs. So now that I have them squared away with instructions in hand, it's time to finish planning ours!:woohoo: I'm anxiously watching all of the changes to FP+ as it evolves.

Just booked our stay! Girls only trip with my mom and older sister to celebrate me graduating from my masters program! May 6-11 staying at POP. First time staying in a value, so we are semi-anxious. We don't spend a ton of time in the room so we figured it would be best to save money for our two full days at Epcot. ;)22 days until we can make ADRs!

I'm going to call my TA to book tomorrow for May 27-June 3. I'm going to book POFQ and move to CR or AKL if the later published discounts are good. DH, DS (6) and DD (1.5) are traveling with my Mom. We decided to go with 1 room only so I'd love to move up to Deluxe for the balcony. I'm still on the fence about dining but leaning toward QS. I've done TS and it was great but I don't want our days planned around meals which might be a disaster anyway with a 1.5 year old. I'm so excited!!!!
