Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

I also ignored the warnings and tried H&V. Horrible. It just was very unclean buffet if you ask me. I didn't even want to take some food items because of it, esp. the dessert area. Next time I want a fantastic pkg. I'm trying MM.
Also, Chef Mickeys. Not for the same reasons. I just think it's poorly run and the food is mediocre. There are way better character buffets out there.

Tony's and the ABC Commissary. The ABC Commissary is the only place I have ever thrown my food out. A few bites were all I could gag down. Now, I only get snacks at the Disney Studios, and go get real food in Epcot.

My original list would have been Tony's and Chef Mickey, both were a one and done for us. But reading everyone's comments about Hollywood & Vine reminded me we ate there once and have never gone back. In general we now avoid buffets. The exception being breakfast at Fresh, that was good.

I made the same mistake twice and with the same result as you, it was tossed into the garbage can. I also will not eat a cs meal in the Studios and not overly crazy about the ts options either.

The places I will not eat at:

ABC Commissary: Flat out gross, disgusting, and one of the worst meals I have ever had. Can't believe I gave it a second chance. I've heard some say it's better, but I'm not going to give this place a third try.

LeCellier: A very average steak, loud atmosphere, cramped, dark, and for me, less than average service. This was when it was a 1TS restaurant; now that it's a signature with little change and increased prices, I'll pass.

Chef Mickey: Right there on par with a Golden Corral, and that is borderline offending Golden Corral fans. The food was not even average for a buffet, the place was filthy, and I didn't care for the service. Characters were fun, but that is not enough to save it for me unless my kids are under 5.

Honorable Mention:

Ohana: This was one of my favorites, but with the menu changes and how late it takes to be seated past our ADR's, we won't be going back anytime soon.

Outside of these places, I actually do enjoy most of the restaurants at Disney, especially the signatures, which is mostly where we dine.

For me it's Tony's, the pasta I ordered was really bland and gloopy. Grand Floridian Cafe, I ate there once and was really ill afterward and have never been brave enough to go back (I know that was a one off experience, other family members have eaten there and loved it) and La Hacienda, I was really excited to try this out and thought the food was bland, only lukewarm and the service was bad, such a shame as I had really high hopes.

T-Rex has never disappointed, the food has been tasty and the service has been great...it is VERY noisy though

I've had plenty of bad meals at WDW, but the only place I stopped eating because of fear of food poisoning was BOG. Their signature shrimp and pastry dish was clearly rotten, gave it back to the waitress, was given another that was just as bad. Ended up going to Casey's for hot dogs.

Places I don't have any interest in eating at: Nine Dragons and Tony's

Places I would be fine never returning to: Chef Mickeys dinner, H&V dinner, Cosmic Rays, Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon and SciFi

But, I would go back to any of them if someone in my family wanted to return (and they were paying...jk).

Tony's Town Square was just horrible. 50's Prime Time wasn't my thing because of the antics by the servers. Food was OK.

This reminds me of Boatright's breakfast. Fifteen years ago, I ate there and vowed "never, ever again!" After many years, I must have had a forgetful moment and tried it again. This time the food was good, the server was so sweet, and I loved it. But then it sadly stopped serving breakfast a few months after that. So I never say "Never" after once.

The only place I've tried that I'll never go back to Sci-Fi. The food was so gross.

I'm surprised to see ABC Commissary mentioned so many times. Their Asian salad is one of my favorite QS meals on property!

I agree with you! I have a 3 strikes policy and have found that the restaurant usually redeems itself.

For me: Hollywood and Vine. Dirty floor and table, horrible food.
For hubby: Bluezoo. He had an emergency room experience the next day after eating there.

I haven't completely written off any place but I don't have any desire to return to H&V- worst breakfast of our last trip- just seemed dirty and food wasn't good at all.

We enjoyed T-Rex Cafe- I didn't find it THAT loud- it wasn't quiet but the noise definitely wasn't a factor. Food was pretty good and DS loved seeing the dinosaurs.

I won't ever go to Tony's, or Mamma Melrose, or Hollywood and Vine, or Nine Dragons. However, I must disagree with a couple of the posters--I love BOMA and I love La Hacienda de San Angel. Food and especially individual restaurants are so subjective--depends what you're going for--many factors--how adventurous you are, are you adults or do you have kids in tow, did you have bad service (like the person who didn't like La Hacienda--I had great service when I went, but I can totally understand once you get a bad one, you don't ever want to repeat it). My two cents as always. Please don't enjoy !!

Crystal Palace dinner was our worst.

Us too. We found it dirty and not well maintained at all and the food was lukewarm at best (not to mention some of the food was not completely cooked and was raw). It's been about 10 years since we've eaten there, but we remember it like it was yesterday and have no desire to go back.
