I just called a WDW agent on an unrelated manner. We started talking and I asked about free dining. He said they don't tell them as they may leak information, but he also said he is hearing dates very similar to the posted rumors and that there is NO talk of the plan changing to QS at moderates. He said to start paying VERY close attention to the special offers page. Accentuating Very!

Not trying to get everyone's hopes up. but I had a very similar experience last year. I called the night before FD released about an unrelated question and the CM was very friendly and chatty. Somehow we got on the subject of FD and she suggested that I keep checking and to check often.

They should be able to give you the new card number over the phone. It would still be linked to that account even if the card number has changed

Thank you for replying to my question. Unfortunately they will not give us a new card number over the phone, we asked. The good news is a just talked to a CM and she said we can use the deposit already made with our old card. I now can breathe a little easier.

I called the other day to cancel a dining reservation bc we switched the dates and the lady was doing everything to make sure we could get it changed to the day we are there. She was saying how these will go fast pretty soon. I wish she had known more!

We will be a party of 5 this year. Taking my 82 yr old mom to her first ever Disney trip! We are currently booked at CBR 9/27-10/3.

actually, I just ran the numbers doing 6 nights at pop, arriving oct 10, two adults and the offer is more than what I can book it for online......unless i'm doing something wrong.

Hi everyone - I was referred to this forum by a friend and thought I should sign up and get on to making some bookings for our holiday. I am in Australia, and am waiting for the Free Dining. I have read back a few pages and it looks like it is coming out soon for Disney Card holders. Does anyone know roughly how long after this it is available for the public? Sorry if this has been covered, I haven't got time to read back through 100 pages. Also, if I just go ahead and book now, if the free dining becomes available, can the booking be altered to include this? Thanks!

I don't think they need to turn red to make their own reservation, but if you think it will help...why not??

I just wanted to share that I received a similar email in the beginning of March. I got excited at first, too. However when I ran the numbers its no special rate it's whatever they are offering on the website. At the time, I was messing around with dates and package prices in MDE. I think it is just a way to make it seem like a special.

you need to call Disney to make a free dining reservation with your DV card. You can modify an existing reservation if the room is included in free dining, if I understood everything correctly.

Without scrolling back to re-read the offer, I think it included park tickets. Did you include them in your numbers?

Yeah it seems like a rip off. I used the same dates as you, but with Sports instead of Pop. It worked out to be $1620 for 2 adults in a standard room for six nights, with seven day tickets. Or I can book it with that "deal" for $1770.
