iPhone + size, how do I carry it in the parks?

I hate taking a bag to the parks with me and this year I upgraded my iPhone to the plus size...I like to take lots of photos with my phone in the parks so I really would like to carry it with me....I'm thinking at this point my only option is to wear my flip belt and carry it that way.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Lots of these kind of belt cases available.

Eazy access.
Very secure, if you thread your belt through it.

My sister in law uses one of these. She has never been forced to go through bag check when wearing it, and she has room for a credit card, id and a little emergency cash.

I've seen waterproof cases on a lanyard to go around your neck. Something like that would probably work well.

i also purchased a fanny pack on amazon, but i just wear it across my chest. there are a lot of selections on amazon, just read reviews and check out pics. most of them are water proof as well. way more convenient/smaller than a book bag etc..

When I wear a sundress with no pockets or shorts that don't have deep pockets, I wear this https://www.amazon.com/Upgrade-Eazy...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=A6F1F9C532V8QTC07T29 under my dress and carry my phone through security. Then I go to the bathroom and pull the belt on top of my dress or leave it under my shirt if I'm wearing shorts and keep it just lower on my waist and stick my phone in it. I have worn it over my dress when going through security but once I had to actually take it off and go through bag check, even though it was obviously not a bag. That was kind of funny since it pulls on so to see me shimmying out of belt was fun, the bag check guy looked at me like I was crazy when I handed it to him and asked why I went through bag check. I did have a small flip type wallet in it and you could see the outline of the wallet so that was why the security guard made me go through. Lesson learned, it goes under the dress and no wallet now. I wore this during the winter this year https://www.amazon.com/Womens-Inter...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=300794F3FE3R26PK5YWN and it worked well but the phone did tend to pull on it.

Most of my pockets fit the 7 plus and if they didn't, I made my husband put it in his pocket :rotfl2:

DH has an iPhone 7 plus, wears skinny jeans, and has no problems putting it in his pocket. My dad uses a belt holster for his. I have one as well and carry it in my cross-body purse. I also have a wristlet it will fit in. I have a flip belt and Spibelt I use at the gym depending on what I'm doing, and it also fits in both of these easily as well. I find the Spibelt to be more comfortable and secure for the phone though.

Do you have the case in the link you included? I was actually looking at the same one last night for my dad, but some of the reviews say it's only good if you have a thick/bulky case on your phone because the holster is on the larger side. He uses the slim silicone Apple case on his, so was just concerned about how secure it would be.

I use one of the waterproof lanyards that was posted about earlier, it is super helpful!

Wait, if you wear it under your dress, do you a have to go into the restroom every time you want something out of it? Seems like a huge inconvenience to me. I'd rather go thru the bag check line than have stop by the restroom every time I needed something.

I carry my Galaxy Note 4 (phablet) either in a belt holster, or one of the water proof lanyard pouches, depending on the weather.

Even male skinny jeans will hold the larger phones, and for females, I wear sundresses in the parks pretty much exclusively and then layer with cards/leggings as needed. Most cotten/linen sundresses are super easy to add pockets to, although most I've bought in recent years have nice deep pockets existent. I have added velco in maybe 2 of them.

I did not want to carry a purse into the parks, but realized I needed something to carry my phone since I wouldn't have pockets most days. I ended up with a tiny purse from Wal Mart. It had a full side pocket that fit my phone perfectly. And I was able to carry extra things like chapstick and hand sanitizer/ wipes (and my daughter's phone :sad2: ).

I wore it across my body and it was so lightweight I hardly knew it was there. It was exactly what I needed (I packed it away for our next trip!)
