I can't remember from when I had stayed at Pop a couple years ago but don't the bathrooms have changing rooms/lockers? We have a very late flight on the day we depart and plan on enjoying the pool before having to head to the airport. I am pretty sure they did. Thanks!

Yes the Laundry buildings by each of the 3 Pools have bathrooms with showers and lockers.:)

I love POP. We stayed at Poly in 2015, and really for the price diff. it wasn't all that spectacular. We hardly spend any time in the room and they kick you out of the hot tub at a certain time, mostly too early to enjoy it by the time you get back to your room after night out. The only advantage was being able to take the boat across the water to MK and the monorail. But for the price diff. we will deal with the bus.
That's probably the key for us enjoying POP -- we use the hotel to re-charge our bodies and phones -- so really we just require a clean and convenient place! The pools at POP more than adequately filled the need to dip in the pool. It would be awesome if they had a hot tub, but they have to justify higher rates somehow ;) ;) ;)

Here now and Have found no interruption in regards to the refrirb
. Someone wanted the size of the table. Room with 2 double table is 28 x 28 inches

I see no evidence of hotel refurb, the road refurb though is a tad inconvenient got detoured yesterday on way back from disney springs due to a road closure on one of the main ones.

We are going to be at Pop from April 25 to May 6. The current room configuration does not include a coffee maker and I prefer coffee 1st thing in the morning in my room. Does anyone here know of a rental company where I can have a coffee maker and coffee delivered to the room? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Buy a mug and get coffee from the food court. Food court opens at 6am.

You can get it from the food court. But, maybe just buy a cheap coffee pot and bring it with you. Or... check out Kellyspds.com. This is Kelly's personal Disney Shopper site where you can rent a coffee maker.

Just made our FPs and did online check in! Only 60 days away from our first stay at Pop. Woohoo! :hyper:

We are here now and since this is our no park/off day I just wanted to take the time to say how much we love Pop! We have had such a great stay here so far and we decided that since we need two rooms that this will be our "go to" resort here at Disney. On our arrival day I got a text that we had ground level rooms in building 8 of the 90's section which we wouldn't have minded since our priority was connecting rooms; but when we got off Magical Express I asked the CM at the check in counter if it was possible for us to get connecting rooms in a closer location and she made a phone call and within minutes we were assigned connecting rooms on the third floor of building 3 in the 50's section; and we have a beautiful lake view :thumbsup2! Two rooms are perfect for us and we have been very comfortable with the space and this is after staying in a 1,200 ft condo on our last trip . The rooms and grounds are very clean and the beds are comfy. Our rooms are in very good condition too. In spite of the beds being smaller, full size beds we have all managed to sleep well the past five nights and no one has complained, not even my 6"3 DH . Our location has been very quiet and we have no complaints about noise. Yes we have heard the toilets flushing a few times during the night and early morning but it really didn't bother us. Honestly, our day to day life at home is so hectic and crazy sometimes that little things that may be bothersome to others aren't even on our radar . We saw a few groups of girls that were here for the Contest of Champions cheer/dance tournament but they were just like every other family group here and didn't really draw attention to themselves. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the theming and taking pictures. My kids loved the Fast Forward arcade. It is huge and has a great variety of games. The bus service has been excellent and we haven't waited more than ten minutes for a bus and they have been great about having an additional bus arrive quickly when the first bus gets filled. We love the food court and the CM's there are so awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The salmon dinner meal and chicken dinner meals are good and the kids love the pizza too. We walked over to Art of Animation yesterday to explore the theming and eat a late breakfast/early lunch at Landscapes of Flavor and surprisingly it seemed more hectic there than Pop's food court; and the CM's at Landscapes of Flavor weren't as friendly and fast moving as the CM's at Everything Pop. Maybe we caught them at a bad time :confused3. Overall we definitely feel that Pop is a good value for us. The lake views and landscaping/foliage here definitely add a moderate resort level ambiance to the value resort theming. We have not seen any indication of room refurbishments so far. Since this is our off day, we will be enjoying the hippy dippy pool today and also tomorrow afternoon since we plan to leave MK in the afternoon. We are also going to try to catch the night pool side movie (and Petals bar ) today and/or tomorrow (I have to check the schedule). I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have :thumbsup2.

So glad you're haveing a POPPIN' good time at POP!:)

1950s Lake View is the best!(LOVE the soundtrack at Bowling Pin also!).

Have you done The Twist and The Hustle with the CMs in Everything Pop and got the free buttons?

I think your kids would get a kick out of that!

A combination of things, I guess. This was going to be my first solo trip, so I could do what I want without having to get anyone else's opinion and without having to pack up anyone else or get anyone else out the door to "move" during the trip.

Also, I've never stayed at any deluxe resorts. I've read that a split stay is a nice way to try one out--and the theme just seemed to fit with POP, setting and then maintaining a "modern America" feel and mood.

A friend has since decided to join me, but I made it quite clear before offering that there's to be no comments on my choice to do a split stay and where!
Yeah, I hear you on the solo thing. It is nice to have a vacation where you can just do what u want when u want. I brought my granddaughter and boyfriend a few years ago, and most days they slept in and did their own thing. We met up for dinner every night. It was great just making my own schedule. I'm sure you'll have a great time. Is your guest a go with the flow type of person?
