I can't say if it's a decent switch or not, only you can. Keep in mind, CBR has queen sized beds and a much nicer pool area. POP has double beds and a pretty basic pool area. Great bus system though.

Thank you! We're going in December so I don't think the pool system will come into play and I'm fine with either bed size.

For what it's worth, I've gone twice in December and had a ball in the pools! But I'm a northerner, too. LOL You know the pools are heated, right? Having said that, I don't go to WDW for the pool. ;-)

Just go ahead and book me a night at the Poly, then I will call it even. :)
Got it done, the only room I could get you was a Club Level Theme Park View, hopefully you don't mind, oh and of course you will receive a 1 day Park Hopper ticket and 1 day worth of Deluxe Dining!!!

Have a wonderful trip, Thanks in advance for the urgent updates from your local media!!!!!!!!!!!:thanks::rotfl2::earboy2:

Random somewhat off-topic question for those of you who have stayed at Pop and POR. IF (big IF) I were to score FD at Pop, it would be about $400 less than the TA deal I have at POR (no FD, estimating my food costs OOP). I've stayed at Pop and thought it was just fine. My kids are elementary age, so they liked it. I basically view the hotel as a place to sleep, not a place to spend much time. My question is: is POR worth paying an extra $400 over Pop in your opinion? I like the idea of queen, not full, beds. But I worry about the buses at POR. Just looking for various insights/opinions. Many thanks in advance!
Depends how long your trip is. We have stayed at both POR. If your room is really only for sleeping then not worth it. We spend pool time, afternoon breaks at the resort. For a longer trip ( a week). The 400 would be worth POR. The resort is just beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are a bit bigger nicer, coffee mschine. Boat to DS. Buses do loop with many stops but didnt bother us. POR is really close to MK. So that ride is fast. We never had issues. Food court one of the best. POP though is also our value fav. But more loud and food court mall like.

Does anyone know if AoA LM or Family Suite rooms are usually included in the RO discount? And if so what the discount has been? Lastly do those usually release on the same day as FD or later?

I Need help! I dont' know where to even start. Right now we are booked at CBR with the GC offer but I can' figure out if it would be better to try to get two rooms at Pop(which scares me because we may not have connecting rooms), stay at CBR and pay upgrade for DDP instead of QSDP or move to a Deluxe and get DDP free there. Does anyone have any idea which would be a better value?

this might be a stupid question, but does the disney site only update for special offers on Mondays? I have a Disney Visa and I have never had luck snagging an earlier deal and wondered if Disney Visa has a specific "day of choice"? I may not even have the right site bookmarked for Visa early access...

Don't get overwhelmed. You can do this. If you use excel try doing it that way, if not just get out a trusty paper and pencil.

Write down your room costs, ticket costs, and dining costs for each option It takes time but if you keep your head on straight you really can figure it out.

This is my way of doing it, for reference.
