Congrats! And now the estoppel wait... and the closing wait ... and the member number wait ... FWIW, I posted my timeline in "closing time." I'm very excited since I got to see my points today.

Yeah... I'm not looking forward to the wait, but seeing everyone's posts about their experiences buying resales has helped give me a good sense of how long this may take.

Same here! I've been scouring all the sites - and I'm willing to take a bigger contract, but I can't even make an offer before it's sold.

Just wait until closer to the end of the year when there is more to choose from unless you see a good contract. Prices will be lower. Don't overpay because of lower supply. Wait until the market is robust again with listings, and the price will go down.

Just was reading a pre TR on HHI and now I am really hoping this contract makes it through. Plus I looked at all the resale sites and nothing great at BCV or BWV...not in my price range anyway.

Oh, and Texas, I have had a couple glasses of wine tonight. It does help... with this ROFR anxiety AND my weary bones after packing my house for 4 days straight.

Good luck with the move!!! Definitely keep drinking wine!

You're so right - hard to be patient when we just returned from the World with serious addonitis!

Thanks! No word on your contract yet? None on mine.

Nothing to report here. Just waiting for the hammer to come down at this point. I even talked to the broker, and she said she hadn't heard anything. :bored:

I saw that a contract passed ROFR today after 34 days because Disney lost their file. What the heck?!? I don't know if that is the reason that it passed or that is simply the reason it took 34 days. I'm guessing it is the latter. Crazy though!

I keep seeing you post and I keep coming back to check on you!!! Just added 25 pts direct. Was a little more annoying than I'd expected. But it's done.

rosybella9---$111.5-$18739-160-BLT-Feb-0/16, 160/17, 160/18, 160/19-Seller pays closing- sent 4/16, passed 5/5

We negotiated that the seller would pay closing, so the per point amount would look higher for ROFR. I'm not sure if this had any affect, but it made me feel like I was doing something :) Actual price paid per point was $107.00 if you don't count the seller paying closing

Congrats! yours was sent the same day as mine so maybe I'll hear today. Curious, who is the broker?

DVCsales. Mark and Lori have been great about answering my questions and guiding me through this process. This is our first purchase, and I'm a compulsive researcher, but I've tried not to be too annoying.

We used them as well. Process was very smooth, so far. I'm still waiting for ROFR period. Submitted 10 days after you...so hopefully we hear by the 15th.

Congrats on passing.

Nope, it makes no difference whatsoever in the calculation, but if it makes you feel better and there's no harm, I say go for it. :teacher: Congrats on passing!

We are working with Lori too. She has been very responsive, but no word on our contract submitted on 4/17. We are starting to look for another one, but it will be a huge bummer to start over again. :guilty:
