Really too bad you didn't like, nor could you find the Path from Boardwalk to HS. We stay at YC typically, and are quite familliar with it, really crazy that no one else could point it out. I actually like that walk a lot, but than DH and I walk every where!

There's no pictures or videos of the walk because it was a verrrry long walk. I'd say close to 2 miles. It was hot, it felt like it took forever, and I was annoyed that there was no boat or bus we could take. Some of the walk was nice, but then we started going under underpasses, and in dirtier areas and let's just say it didn't feel very "Disney" to me. Not only did the pathway almost seem like a secret, but it also seems like with the lack of anything to tell you where it is that they're discouraging people from using it.

It is a loong walk, and more so from the Beach Club. Why was there no ferries running from YC/BC to DHS? That is odd, how are people supposed to get there?
That part where you go under the bridge is a little shady...but I was like, this is Disney, it's not THAT shady, right? Haha.

The Groot and BB8 cups are/were (depending on when you're reading this) at a cart in front of the HS arch near Pixar Place. @chunkymonkey had scouted out the location for me so I didn't have to look everywhere! After walking about 2 miles, I finally got my baby Groot cup!

Yay!!! There were plenty of cups left. I was pretty confident you'd get one the next day.

Also the straws taste terrible #StillWorthIt

They do, ick. I replace mine with regular straws and just toss them when I'm done.

Yay cute! I didn't get a selfie with baby Groot until our last day. I forgot to get one the first time we met baby Groot!

When we got back in the line for the elevator was so long! They were only using one. When we finally got all packed in ours the most hilarious thing happened. There was a little girl in our elevator and after being told all her wishes would come true, she looked at her parents and loudly announced "I wish this elevator were bigger"!

Hahaha that's funny!

So cute!!! I wasn't sure about this meet, but it looks adorable!

Woah. This Star Lord face character looks...kinda terrible. Haha. Not like bad or anything, the outfit is good, etc., but his face looks NOTHING like Chris Pratt.

Josh claims to be unaware it ran through the park despite being able to see it every time we go. Our first real view of Flower and Garden outside pictures was on the monorail, and we both said "wow!"

I need to go! Also, we hopped from MK to Epcot in January via the monorail, and Zack was sure that you went straight to the... station? and unloaded, then it loaded and went through the park. I was like, wouldn't it make more sense that you see the park as you arrive...? I win lol.

It was great to see them! Hopefully we'll run into each other on another trip in the future when we have more overlapping days

Next year is the festival's 25th year so I decided that meant we had to go again!

Alright, I have a new excuse to go next year. Is it excessive to go to Disneyland in April and hit F&G in Disney World? Will Zack have any vacation time? Will he let me go by myself? (I know the answer to that - no, because he would be so jealous )

I took it to go (which I don't know if you're supposed to but no one said anything when I left the park with it). Oh well I'm a Disney rebel bringing hard cider out of International Gateway!

I finally got my baby Groot cup!

I LOVE IT.

The minute we got in line a huge line formed behind us! I think Star Lord has to accept that most the attention will be on baby Groot and not a him I'm sorry, he just looks nothing like Chris Pratt. I saw a super skinny guy that was Star Lord one day and it just didn't look right at all . Baby Groot has some really fun reactions to things that look so real! Plus they play music from the movie soundtrack in the background which is a nice touch. (Btw the Star Lord and Gamora meet and greet in Cali looks so fun, but the large Groot is kind of terrifying).

Ah it's hard to do a real actor... baby Groot is adorable though. I'll have to look up the Cali one, I bet big Groot is scary lol.

We made it right after they started. There's no firework pictures because we got video. I've always liked Wishes, and the story; but since we haven't been going to the parks long and have never watched it in full except that night I don't feel that I have that emotional connection so many other people do that have been watching it over the years. Still it was great to see it from the Cali Grill! It was a nice goodbye to Wishes since we would not be going to see in for it's very last run on the 11th.

Same here. I mean, we only saw it once in January... and we had one other chance on that trip and we skipped it If we had known it was ending we probably would have watched again... but I was definitely spoiled by my first show being the Disneyland Paris one, and then the second show being Disneyland Forever... So Wishes almost fell short for me. I'm excited for the new show though!

Yay! I followed you. I love taking pictures, but my violet lemonade ones didn't come out quite like I planned

I have to step up my game lol. I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted... I had some crazy family drama and I mostly stopped using social media for the last year and a half... but I'm working on using it again. I'm just out of the habit to post things, if that makes sense.

We waited and waited and waited...but nothing! No boat in sight. I decided we'd take the bus...only to find out there isn't one to HS!

That is so weird!

We walked all the way to the Swan, and Josh asked the first employee he saw but they had no idea. Someone pointed us towards where they thought it was.

Such. A. Long. Walk.

One guy got his manager for us and his manager led us to the path. So thank you, sir! (This is where I started reconsidering our stay at YC in September).

Thank goodness for these nice people! I agree it isn't very well labeled- we almost missed it to. As for the Yacht Club consideration, I would say the benefit is walking to Epcot, although depending on where your room is at YC it could be a hike there too.

Great update and you're right that walk to HS is long but your quest for the Baby Groot cup was a success!
I liked our Star Lord he was really cute. They were great letting everyone take multiple pictures and selfies.
The view from CG is stunning really great night time shots.
I'm still nervous about Uber we usually take taxi's when we need to be someplace in a hurry. I know Uber is less expensive.

I knew the minute I saw this movie we had to do this meet and greet! Luckily it started the very next day, and we happened to be going there 2 days later.

Yeah, It's hard to have M&G's for characters who are played by ACTUAL people. No one will ever look as good as the actual actors in our minds.

So I'm working on getting all up to speed.

I'm dying laughing over getting in Disney trouble.

This weekend at the Poly was the first time I ever got in Disney trouble - and the best part was we were TRYING to be rule followers (which is a nice change of pace for us) and we still got in trouble.

We were going to Trader Sam's for cocktails, but were told we couldn't park at the Poly unless we actually had a reservation. - Fine, whatever, then I guess I can't spend my money here.

However, I REALLY wanted a cocktail and we just didn't want to mess with the TTC as the evening rush for the fireworks was starting and monorailing it back over, so I asked if we could just valet instead. He said sure. Ok. So then why does it matter if we have a reservation or not? Only allowed to park at the Poly if you pay to park at the Poly. I was a little ragey on the inside, because last time we were at the Poly, I legitimately had reservations and was forced to valet because there was zero self-parking. I was told by the valet then their parking was full because people parked there instead of the TTC to attend a DVC event at Magic Kingdom that night.

Anyway, we took a left and there is a split in the road. Left hand side - self-parking and cars. Right side - VERY CLEARLY said Disney buses only. So we went left.

I knew where the valet was from my last trip - so knew we were going the right way.

The guy came CHASING after us saying we could NOT go that way and needed to go on the bus side.

I know he thought for sure we were going to self park as soon as we were out of his sight - but we really weren't! I mean, I'm sure plenty of people do that. Anyway. We were FORCED to break the driving rules.

We get out of the car at the valet and he says..."You know...you're not supposed to go that way."
