will that include one of the 5 days that we are there?
there is still no way of knowing what they will do for November.
What they did last Nov. should not be taken to mean that they will have the same schedule this coming Nov, but it's something to hang your hat on. They had the current party on 21 of the 30 days in Nov. It averaged about 4 times per week. Hope that helps.

Yes, it does help. Thank you.

@FastPasser. , I'm trying to decide between trying this FEA party or going back to the SW party. If the Nutella dessert at the SW party is gone, that would be make our decision easier. Do you know if it's still there? Personally, I would rather have the seating of the FEA party, but we also all really liked the other party, too, and we still talk about the flash frozen Nutella. They need to bring the frozen Nutella to the Frozen party! It would work.

Ahh the Nutella dessert was the one thing that made it hard to decide. We are doing the Frozen party anyway. How do we make them bring Nutella to the Frozen party??? :)

I thought, not certain, that I spotted it out of the corner of my eye last time I was there about a week ago. I'll be there Monday night and will make a point of checking.

As you have already done the SW dessert party, and if you're going to do another party, I think the FEA party is worth checking out because they are very different.

Thanks for checking. If it were just up to me, we'd absolutely try it. Plus I really like Illuminations better than the SW spectacular - though to be fair, we had terrible weather and I don't think we had the full show experience. I just need to convince the rest of my group to try this one. And if I can't, perhaps the fates will decide for us with a sold out SW party!
:thumbsup2

Difficult/odd question here. Can anyone attempt to describe how loud this might be? My youngest would love it. However, she (and therefore I, because I'm always with her) has never seen fireworks from inside one of the parks. The closest she has been is from the dock at the Grand Floridian. Even there, she wanted her ear muffs along, although I don't think she wore them. Is it really super loud? How much louder than the dock at the GF? Would her ear muffs make it tolerable? Thanks.

I assumed that the check-in process would remain as it is, wrong. It appears, not official yet, that it will be assigned seating after all. That being the case, there's no point in arriving early because you'll get the same table whether you arrive 30 minutes early or 30 minutes late. The tables are 5 person tables.

Also, there will be no tables with views obstructed by the boat dock because there will not be any tables in front of the boat dock.

Yes~~ there was assigned seating for the SW Dessert party this past December

So are tables reserved based on when you buy your tickets then? I would assume that even though no tables have obstructed viewing that some are still better than others, like closer to the fence, vs further back or something like that? Also, I've never been to a dessert party so I have no idea what the general protocol is, but for a group of 6, I assume that would be more than one table? If the tables seat 4 for instance, would the remaining 2 share their table with strangers? Thanks!

As it's not final, and if it works the same as other events that also had assigned seating, they are assigned after you make the rez and you find out what your table is when you check in.

That's a safe assumption.

Yes, unless you wanted to squeeze the 6th person into your table.

Possible, but not a certainty. It all depends on how the table assigner decides to do it.

Thank you very much!

...It's been so long since I've done the HDDMR that I can't recall how they do it.

First reservation, best seating

Edited: forgot to quote Fastpasser

Ahh, I see.
Other than maybe along the railing, I don't think one spot is better than another at that particular venue.
Oh that's reassuring. Guess seating is arranged like Club Villain then? If you are a party of two, you'll be made to sit with strangers?

Club Villain, I'm very familiar with that setup. And just like in that case, when there were nights that it was not sold out, and there were too many, each group got their own table. No need to share. This will probably be the same on non sold out nights as it's the same team doing it.
