AP rates for 9/1-10/31 are out

Has this ever happened before where an annual pass discount is out but not listed on the website? I really don't want to call to book I like comparing the different rates online to decide and feel like there would be a lot of pressure on the phone to make a decision right away.

Not that I've seen but I guess it's also a thing that most wouldn't know.
I think folks found out this time because of the update glitch that hit the entire website and took all the reservation system down. When people started having to call to book anything they started to tune in that there was a promo date on the phone that wasn't online.

Definitely crossing my fingers that this is true. I find it incredibly hard to believe that every single Deluxe was sold out except for Savannah view AKL.
I mean, think about it, how do they sell out something that practically no one knows about? Granted, anything is possible I just find it really hard to believe.
Sure, once it's released I can see it sell out, that doesn't seem all that out of the ordinary but to sell out before people even know it's available, just not buying it.

Disney CM can't determine the difference between Sold Out and Not Yet Released.
I am maintaining that when it's released for booking online all these Sold Out resorts will suddenly have availability.

I'm actually just now joining the DISboards because of all this. I've been looking for the past 4 days at what's available for 10/15-10/21. Right now, I'm seeing CS, Contemp, PO (Riverside and FQ), WL, Poly, YC, BWI, and OKW are completely unavailable. That's unbelievable, though I guess not impossible?

So I chatted with a CM online and asked bluntly. Here's the log:

Hello, my name is Latrice, how may I assist you?

Hi Latrice! I have a question concerning booking from 10/16-21. So many of the resorts I'd like to book are saying there's no availability. Contemporary, POR, and Wilderness Lodge. Is it possible that these resorts have had rooms blocked off for Fall Room Only discounts and they just haven't been released yet?

Latrice at 10:38, Jun 16:
It is possible that is happening, we are expecting fall offers to be coming out very soon, so I'd definitely say to check back for those.

You at 10:40, Jun 16:
That sounds great! Thank you so much. It just seems so odd that all those resorts would be sold out you know? I'm actually an AP holder and hoping for the AP discount to be released. Is there any word of what date we could expect those discounts? Sorry to be too nosy :)

Latrice at 10:41, Jun 16:
I believe once the 2018 packages are released next week the passholder fall discounts and other special offers will follow.

Thank you so much! Had a feeling that might be the case. Well I greatly appreciate your help. It's been kind of confusing after all the website maintenance.

So it looks like we're best to be patient til June 20 :/

Call and ask to speak with guest relations. They were the ones that gave me the discount even though nothing was "available."

Thanks for this thread! I just called and updated my reservation for the end of Sept. I saved $28.13 for 3 nights at POFQ! Every penny counts right? :-)

I called yesterday after seeing this post, was on hold over 60 minutes and talked to two different CM's that verified AP rate for 9/1-10/7, but nothing was available for ANY Epcot resort. They said all three resorts were fully booked at all level rooms for AP discount. I find that VERY hard to believe since the discount is not advertised on their web page yet. I never get any emails regarding AP promo's either. Very poor system in place. Very disappointed, but not giving up yet. Thanks for the heads up
It is Food & Wine so I'm not surprised - whether it's sold out or not included in the offer - that the Epcot hotels would not have availability.

I called earlier and was able to find one CL room at YC under the offer.

Waiting for it to show up online. We're local but wanting to stay at Disney for our wedding night before flying to Aulani.

I would be. We've never not found a room with an AP rate at an Epcot resort during F&W. And we usually aren't booking this far in advance either.

I'm giving up on calling and I'll just wait until they're online. They keep quoting only rooms that are available under the current Escape RO offer, so something seems off.
This is a good reminder to always book a discount when you see it available. Don't hold out for a better discount because you can always apply another one later!

Are AP rates any better than FL resident rates? I haven't purchased an AP yet, but found a Port Orleans Riverside for $170 a night for the first week of September. Thanks guys!

Of course-I called yesterday afternoon to add DME and didn't think to ask about AP rates-just figured they hadn't been released yet! Now I'm on hold and if I have to hear It's a Small World one more time...

Ugh-40 minutes later and couldn't get the rate-said there are no availabilities at POFQ. Only at CBR, SSR, ASMusic, AoA, none of which I'm interested in. I'll have to call back once it is completely released!

It varies. Right now it looks like the discount is the same

I called and was told all that was available was a family suite. You would think with all rooms at a value...maybe free dining took all of them. I guess I will wait.

I've been checking the website but just saw this thread today. We had booked YC at the discounted price, but decided to switch to POFQ later on. There wasn't a lot of availability so we have a standard room with no discount right now.

I was hoping for something with AP discounts, but when I called they said CBR was the only moderate available for the dates (Sep 8-11th). I'm going to check again when it appears on the website in case something changes though.

Has anyone who called been told which deluxe resorts were available/included? I don't want to waste my time if it isn't one I want.
