Next year when we go to WDW, our twins will be about 5.5 years old, and I'm sure they will reach the height requirements for pretty much every ride. We also have older kids who will be 15 and 11 at the time of our trip. Since it's our first trip, I'm assuming that we are all going to stick together the entire time as I don't think I would be comfortable letting my older kids go off on their own when they're not familiar with the parks. I know we can do rider switch/baby swap, and I know I can send my hubby with the little kids to do other rides (he's not a thrill seeker), while I go on the big rides with the big kids. So, with all that said, are there any rides that you would just really recommend NOT taking 5 year old kids on? Anything that's just way too extreme?
