I am impressed by the diligent packers in the group! We won't pack until the day before and I am 100% excited that the grandparents will be there so we aren't wrangling a toddler while we are packing. Our daughter always goes nuts when we try to pack! We do have a travel bin where we keep all of our travel stuff (75% Disney stuff of course) and it is currently overflowing with stuff for this trip. I ordered two more things yesterday with this trip as my excuse. I need to stop! Luckily I will run out of time soon. And then I will start shopping for our December three-generation-trip which will be even more dangerous with all of the cute toddler clothing options out there!
I'm going on a solo trip so I only have to look after myself. Which at times can seem like dealing with a three year old.

I have a bin also that I have been collecting "vacation related" stuff...lol. I keep looking at like how the heck am I supposed to fit all of that in my suitcase??!! I plan on splitting it up with the kids but holy cow, that's a lot of stuff!

True story, last year DD collected so much of the hotel toiletries (we had 3 rooms between our family) that we had to buy a new suitcase. We were over the weight limit. This year, I'm taking an extra suitcase just so she has room for her soaps/shampoos and souvenirs.

On our last trip, DD's first choice of a souvenir were the biggest, fluffiest Sulley slippers ever! I had no idea how we were going to fit them into the suitcase to come home! Luckily, since we pack our own snacks and stuff to consume on the trip, so she got lucky and we made room.

Since so many of us are looking for things to occupy ourselves with... How about we start a conversation about what we are most excited to be bringing to WDW? A lot of you have mentioned travel bins, wardrobe, etc so maybe we could see what everyone's bringing. It may just jog someone's memory who would have forgotten something!

Love it! I packed every size ziplock bags I could find. They come in handy for EVERYTHING!

We have a store here called Five Below - another version of a dollar store. We stopped in over the weekend and they had the CUTEST headbands with flowers on them that look just like Mickey ears! And they were only $3 each. We bought a set in 3 different colors. I'm planning to hit up a few other locations to see if I can find more colors.

Good question! I am most excited to bring my new PeopleMover themed ears that my friend gave me for my birthday. Something that we can't forget/live without is our battery charger for our phones.

@disneydarling07 I may just have to pack some ziplocks! Now that you mention it, I can see so many uses for them...
@shairpdrh Oh wow those sound so cute!

For me, this is the first trip where I'm being proactive about my feet. I love Disney but man it kills my feet. Usually I'm limping by day 2 or 3. So I'm all prepped with all comfy shoes (previously tried Converse/Keds to have more style but even those didn't cut it), moisture-wicking socks, the foot version of Body Glide, blister pads, Moleskin, and Epsom salts and a golf ball for relieving my feet each night.

I may or may not have used blister pads back in 2011 :rolleyes1. I found they really helped the pain and heal the blister faster. Of course back in 2011 we didn't bring that to begin with and once I had the blisters we had to run to the store to get some.

Sooo Excited, we are down to 40 days!! I think I have a pretty good handle on the planning and our itinerary doesn't look to awful. It is just DH & I, so I am planning on a bit more park hopping than we could do with both kids.

9/17 - Land @ MCO at 10am and head to CR. Planning on Lunch in DS or EP for Food & Wine...WCC ADR @ 7pm
9/18 - HS, no ADR as we are doing SW Dessert Party
9/19 - MK for MNSSHP, BOG ADR @ 6:30pm
9/20 - MK, O'hana ADR @6:30pm
9/21 - AK in the AM (able to snag FOP relatively early), hop to HS in the PM. Sci-Fi ADR @ 5pm
9/22 - EP for Food & Wine, than Yachtsman ADR for our Anniversary dinner
9/23 - FLight leaves MCO @ 5pm, so we will take the morning to hit 1 last park for a bit.

Don't laugh but I'm so tempted to start packing. The girls have a brand new Disney wardrobe that will be a surprise to them when we get there anyway so it's not like we need the clothes no lol. Ive been stocking up on Disney shirts and dresses on sale at the Disney store, old navy, h&m and gap.

I also had a nightmare the other night that we were in Disney and I forgot all the stuff I had bought for the trip. In my dream I remember saying to myself this isn't real wake up lol.

Yes, yes. I have issues.

I would love to see wardrobe pics! I think maybe 90% of the fun of planning this trip has been ordering outfits for my girls! :lovestruc

I have to ask what you do with the golf ball! Roll it around the bottom of your foot? Just wondering if this is something I should plan to do, as well :teeth:

I wish I still had little girls to dress up! My 15yo just does her own thing. I tried buying lots of Disney shirts for my 10yo son but he thinks it's so uncool now. :scared1:

So it's just me and my zillions of Disney t-shirts...

My wife and daughter are avid procrastinators. I told her over the weekend we need to start figuring out what we are going to wear. She looked at me like I was insane. I always go on their schedule and end up finally getting everything loaded in the Hummer way later than I had planned.

I have a cardboard box of Disney trip items I have been stashing away for months now. Park bag, new camcorder, Camera, phone charging batteries, extension cord, 3 way plug, D cell battery powered fan, extra batteries, bit bands, neck wallet. battery powered mister fan. New tennis shoes, soft sided cooler, refreezable ice packs. I just bought a new Ipad pro over the weekend.

This weekend I am going to pick out the snacks to get on amazon prime pantry and have them delivered to the room when we get there.

Tonight I am fabbing up the battery powered fan to my little mans new stroller.

How old are your girls? I've been buying stuff from zulily, gap, h&m, old navy and target. Lots of tees and dresses. Everything matching bc dd1 loves matching her little sister.

They are 4 and almost 2! So they don't mind matching and wear whatever I put on them  I have seriously been buying stuff since January, so I had a lot of stuff made and then got a few shirts from Gap and t shirt boutiques. And then I coordinate my husband and I around their outfits!

Mine are 2 and 4! They're exactly 2 years apart, almost to the day. 2 years and 4 days apart.

I fly out on Sept 17th...I got my cases down and started to put things in them already. Partly because I needed the box I had my Disney trip stuff in to put my birthday and Christmas gifts that I have purchased for friends and family in. My sister is moving back home while waiting to move to her new place and we now have to clear her room of all the things we stored in there so this is kinda ruining my plans this week, I want to be making my costumes. She sprung it on us just before the weekend that she's coming home early this weekend.

Yes indeed! It's a great way to massage your feet if you don't have a travel partner (or one who isn't willing to touch your 14-hour-park-day feet :P). I used it when I tap danced in a show and it worked wonders. A tennis ball is also good :)
