Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Couple of comments about our first stay club level at Polynesian.
First, we are 3rd floor Hawaii building with theme park view. The first night we checked in was the first time we have ever seen Hallowishes and it is AMAZING!
The CMs are incredible! I am probably in a small minority here but I emailed a list of dining reservations we wanted and they were able to secure them all. I sent the list a few days before our 180 day window opened.
Finally, we were out a little too late at MNSSHP the other night and missed an early dining reservation at 'Ohana. They cancelled and helped me rebook a later morning time.

Thanks for posting. Sounds like you're having a great time and enjoying Poly CL :goodvibes.

Going to AKL Club at the weekend, Do they still have the greeters meeting the Magical Express to take you straight up, or do we have to make ourselves known?

I can't answer about the greeters, but wanted to say I hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

With the announcement about FP extending to some Good Neighbor hotels, I was wondering if any of you had ever used the concierge to help secure FP? I'm able to start booking my family's FP on December 24th, but am worried about this increased competitions for thinks like FOP and FOE. Has the CL ever been able to actually help with FP?

I'm sending my email today!omg I'm so disappointed in this change, I seriously think a CL guest should get a 5 day or so window prior, we pay a premium services and now it seems like they are just giving more services away! Apparently they don't have trouble filling the CL, though that to me conflicts with the fact that the room only discounts have a focus on CL rooms. Their logic is maddening! :teeth:

But when you open that door, you’ll have AP holders, DVC Members, People staying in large suites, Etc. feeling the same way. Everyone will feel entitled to an advantage.
I do believe that there should be some sort of bone thrown to people who are actually in Disney hotels first and foremost. It’s always been a ‘perk’ or even a reason to stay on property. Now they’re saying you can stay off property - pay probably half the price, and get the same benefits. I just don’t think that’s fair. Next they’ll get EMH. Where’s the cut off?

@mrsap I see your point, but i'm still going to grumble :ssst:

here's the section of my email:

Regretfully, I do have two concerns that weigh heavy on my decision to choose YC CL. First off is the new dog policy that Disney has implemented; there is conflicting information being given on the message boards via CM on the reservation phone line. Will dogs be allowed on the CL floor? Again, back to my health struggles; sleeping is very difficult for me. I am very concerned of dog barking, daytime napping and at night, that will impose on our sleep. I sincerely hope that Disney has reserved a location within the resort for dog friendly rooms to confine the noise, smell, and disturbances of canine visitors. Please don't mistake that we are against dogs, we are dog owners ourselves. However, we believe that with WDW standards, it will be difficult to maintain the level of quality and cleanliness, including noise, while allowing dogs to stay at resorts.

Secondly, I have just read WDW new policy on extending FP bookings at the 60 day marks to guest in the Disney Springs neighbor hotels. This is extremely disappointing, and while I am pondering the reasoning for Disney exec to once again take away property guest perks; I am left wondering if this could be counter-balanced for CL guests in allowing DSS to book FP for these premium rooms at a 10 day window prior to 60 days. Consider that a policy similar to this would allow the guests who have just received Disney magic in the form of FP booking window comparable to property guests; and yet extend the magic as well to those paying for and utilizing the DSS team. I understand that booking a CL room is an investment in the quality of my vacation, and I fully anticipate Disney exec to desire the gratification of securing their CL guests complete satisfaction in this investment for today and future vacations.

I ask you to please pass along my two concerns to the management of Guest services of which they would be appropriate

Hoping for a quick response from someone familiar with both BWI and CR club levels (@trishadono @GADisneyDad14). Are the club lounges open to grab sodas 24/7 line at the Poly??

The CR lounges (both Atrium and Tower Club) are open all of the time and the fridge is available. I ‘think’ they leave a stash of beverages when they leave at 10pm, but I’m not 100% sure about that. They might clear it out at the end of the night?

I have not been to BWI so not sure there. DW has been and she says they close the part where the fridge is but did leave out lots of bottles of water late at night on a table outside of whatever part they close - but I’d want someone with more BWI experience to confirm that is accurate.

Sorry I can’t be of more help! I need to add this to things to pay attention to!

We stayed at BWI CL last month. The lounge frig with sodas was inside the doors, and I think they were closed after 10 or so.
We usually bring a few sodas back to the room during the day and pop them in the room frig. That might be a good option for you.

“I do not fear the dark side as you do.” -:darth: :P

Having older kids we would get back past 10p and find soda still in cooler at CR and they would grab one. I have seen others get lucky and run for it getting off the elevator.

My 1st bwi cl in a month!

I am also abandoning ship. We canceled our upcoming YC trip. I was really looking forward to it too. Can’t take a chance with my sons allergies.

@TigrLvsPooh - can you please change our November trip to GF? Thank you, sorry about that :flower3:

I moved you to SL, is that correct? Or RPC?

We’ll be at RPC - especially after hearing such great things about it from @GADisneyDad14! :darth: Thank you!!

Despite our trying to get onboard with BWI we just couldn't see ourselves staying there. Maybe we're forever spoiled by the monorail and MK resorts -- plus DH is a very picky eater and didn't find any "quick service" options he would go for, the lack of mug refill locations on the inside of the resort (filling up cups and switching to mugs was just weird lol) and the longer hallways/bigger property -- all combined we foresaw us not enjoying ourselves and nitpicking on the little things that would've caused more unhappiness.

So we just made the switch to CR Atrium Club (not our beloved theme park view though since none were available), and after will compare it to Poly CL that we just came back from last month, and one of the 2 will be our forever home away from homes. :)

Anyone know if the sodas are available in RPC after 10 as well? I know they are free, and I know I'll have my refillable mug, but I always feel awkward about taking "one for the road" when a concierge is around.
Ya I think I have seen them at both rpc and sl. I find it is just easier to take one early in the day for later. I usually have a soda, a wine and a water in my room at all times.

I just make sure to finish them my last day.
