A photographic tour of Ariel's Grotto

So now I'm going to do a photographic tour of Ariel's Grotto in DCA.

Ariel's Grotto features "Under the Sea" Character Dining


Upon entering, these staircases lead you down to the "Under the Sea" dining room.


You get your picture taken with Ariel as you enter the dining room.


The dining room has an "Under the Sea" feel to it.



Ariel's Grotto offers dining for all three meals, and there is a World of Color dining package for dinner, but there are no princesses at dinner. We've only done breakfast and lunch. There are multiple meal courses for dinner and I think lunch too.

For breakfast, we recommend the Berry Waffles if you are a fan of berries.


For lunch, we recommend the Sautéed Shrimp.



Four other princesses visit your table- usually a combination Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, or Princess Minnie. Pre-2012 it was usually always Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, and Snow White, though lately, Rapunzel and Tiana have been appearing more common.





Overall, the place is really excellent. It has been our favorite for years, and it's a great place to see a variety of princesses.

If you're going to do photographic tours, you might want to look for more up to date photos. All of these princesses are now wearing updated gowns. Some have worn them for years now.

Any fans of Ariel's Grotto should plan a trip soon. The restaurant will be rethemed soon. So expect it to close and reopen as something Pixar themed. No word yet on whether they will add princess dining at a different location.

LOL. I teased my kids before our Disney Cruise I was going to order roasted Donald Duck. Joke was on me. There WAS duck on the menu the first night.

Are these pictures YOU took or are you finding pictures on the internet? If you want to use pictures you found on the internet, you should really specify that you've done so.

Maybe it is because he is stealing pictures from other people. That is not OK. None of the pictures are ones that he took himself. It's not OK to claim pictures as your own when someone else owns the rights to the pictures.
