Will the SPG Plat Biz show up on my Amex (Plat) online account site or is personal and business separate like Chase? My SPG was auto approved and I confirmed it on the site that @SouthFayetteFan provided. I don't expect a shipping notice for a few more days. I was approved 3/4 so a little behind the 3/1 approval group just thought it would show up on my Amex site or I would have received another email. Feels like SPG is giving me the silent treatment, looking for a little fanfare or something.

I got my first Amex business card recently and when I went to activate it, they had me log into my account and now it's there with my personal cards.

I got 2 emails right at the same time, one that said they received the application and the one that said I was approved, here setup your online account. I chose to create a separate account but I think it would have allowed me to login to my existing one. When I clicked the link in the email it took me to a page that had my application ID prefilled in and that let me setup the account without having the card. Not sure how you get to that sign in page without it.

Edit: I should play first then answer. If you didn't get another email with a Setup button you can try using this URL and replace the XXXXX with your "Ref" number if you have it. Mine ended in USD so it wants all the number and letters listed

I checked and did not get a 2nd email, hope they're not going to say, "nope just kidding, no SPG for you". Yes I have the reference # and it does end with USD. Was your SPG account number linked to the page that opened (based on the reference #)?

@Alice Sr. I recall being told you have to create a separate account. If you want a single account, you just call or chat with them, they can merge it. It merges very clean compared to Chase.

I don't mind the two different accounts with Chase but like the idea of both being on one site if it's like you say "clean". Thanks

I got an immediate acceptance on the webpage, then an email saying they received my application. I later received some welcome emails but couldn’t log in and add my SPG Biz until I had the card. It asked for Card number. And I was able to add the Biz Card to same account as my 2 personal cards.

That's what I am wondering will happen if I use @miztressuz's link.

So how do you like 2 separate Amex account logins? Do you have two with Chase also? Do you have a preference between the 2 Amex account sites or are they basically the same? Thanks!

Trying to nail down a cruise for August 2019. It's between Mediterranean (out of Barcelona) or lots of stops in Greece (out of Rome). Been spending the day off and on researching the best airline/points combo. Basically I can't decide what to do. I think I've pretty much settled on grabbing the Delta cards since they are on special now and going from there. Also preparing to ax DHs Amex green and will sign him up for the Ameriprise Amex Plat instead. I'll be ditching my plat when the fee comes due in May. Tentative plans anyway...

Delta is a good plan just because there are a lot of US to Europe flights. And it seems like they are adding more all the time. If you can have airfare taken care of that can be a huge part of the overall cost of a trip.

Yes just one log in is easier. I had my Amex and business and personal separate until a couple days ago. Had to talk to them anyway and he combined it online onto one. It is easier! Funny part is it also added the cards where I am an AU or employee of DH’s card. It looks cluttered but will come in handy if there is ever a good Amex offer again.

Oh that is super cute! I've started picking up some Dapper pieces to put together outfits for DH and I now that we are doing west coast and east coast Dapper Days. I was happy to find those cute vintage dresses on Amazon and use MPX gift cards. Still mourning the death of the Amex Plat 5x on that. But, I'll take what I can get. We're doing a Dapper Disney bound. DLR will be a Dapper Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. I still need to pick up a petticoat. WDW will be a Dapper Merida Bound because my inner 10 year old wants a picture with her and DH will likely do an Ana bound since he already has the outfit.

On the topic of e-rewards, if you use it for airlines, do those miles/points count as qualifying to extend the expiration date of the points/miles in your airline account?
