another quick universal trip in the works for June. But what else can we do? Thinking 4 days universal. Then have a couple left over days with 2 teen boys.

I will be driving. Prefer something heading back to NJ vs deeper into Florida. Any thoughts?

Sea World
Other Orlando attractions (search Orlando Hotels and Attractions forum)
Beach
Kennedy Space Center
St. Augustine
Washington, DC

Kennedy. space Center was on my short list too. We have done most other Orlando stuff and Busch Gardens.

I’ll be their in early June with my 2 teen nephews. We are going to do an airboat ride one morning. I read reviews on TripAdvisor to choose which company. It’s something we’ve never done before.

We are spending last two weeks of August down south starting with Universal and ending in Myrtle Beach with Daytona Beach in the middle. We are driving as well. Daytona hotels have awesome rates for the resorts oceanfront.

Myrtle Beach is a nice area we have done on the way back up if you have not been before - free beaches which we appreciate, being from NJ as well! North Myrtle has nicer, quieter beaches which is where we stay, then you can go to Broadway at the Beach(restaurants, shops, go- karts, zipline, wax museum), Barefoot Landing(restaurants, shops, Alligator Adventure), Nascar Experience, Minor League Stadium, etc.

Hi we are driving this June from CT and we will be going to Kings Dominion in Virginia and Carowinds in North Carolina.

My daughter and her friends are planning on kayaking one day. They are doing the one in Apopka but there are some night time ones in the area too. They are using getupandgokayaking.com

They have not done this before so don't know how it is. There are also springs in Apopka that you can bring tubes or noodles and float down-it is a city park, don't remember the name. Only cost is entry into the park, which is like $5.00.

Lol! We stay in Cherry grove section up to Windy Hill! North MB is the only way we'd stay! The best part of going last week of August aside from the fact that most southerners are back to school is that the rates drop dramatically. We've paid almost triple for the same condo in July that we get that week in August.
The only way I got my husband to agree on Universal again was to extend our trip and stop at Myrtle Beach! Win-win for me and the kids!

Another vote for Washington DC, especially if you haven't been. Endless things to do.
Kennedy Space center is great too. Depending on time of year it could get crowded. Sometimes it's a one day trip and if crowded it may take 2 to see the whole thing.
