You're all over the place aren't you! If the first parade starts at 9:15 maybe an hour +/-. When you ask questions you really should include your party date, it makes a big difference. :flower3:
Sorry. Am just trying to figure out an itinerary so I can post one :(

Sorry. Am just trying to figure out an itinerary so I can post one :(

No apologize necessary, I think you took me wrong. I wasn't trying to sound like a mean nasty person with razor sharp teeth like this ....>:( Nope! Dates are important a Tuesday party in September vs one in October can be busier. I think most who give advise do so in general terms just like I did, to get more specific information dates are needed

Yes, it will but since your party is on a Monday you can add them later in the evening
10:30-11:10 Hocus Pocus 10:45 @ Partners Statue
11:15-11:45 or 11:50 Seven Dwarfs - so right after Hocus Pocus run to their location!
12pm Headless Horseman Magic Shot @ Front of Park Entrance - and you'll still have time for this Magic Shot!
exit park
Soooooooo, I think we're going to try to do both J&S and the Dwarfs, given the fact that they can be seen after HP. I'm guessing the line will be long so I'm going to hope for the best. The Dwarfs are in the YELLOW tent, right? lol........that's the smallest tent and it the absolute farthest away, right? It probably won't be hard to find the line at that point. Maybe we'll start heading that direction before Hocus Pocus is over.

Back to Jack and Sally. The line starts at the gazebo and runs in the direction of Liberty Square, right? I know my way around the park better than dh does so I may *try* to have him wait in line while I run to Tortuga Tavern to get my band first then take his spot in the line and send him to get his. I really thought I got both of our bands before but the cm will need to personally place the band on our wrists, right? There is no way I can pick them both up even by showing our 2 party tickets (which I assume is physically on its way to my house since I received a delivery notice from WDW). I'm hoping if I am at the band delivery spot exactly at 4pm it will only take me a few minutes to get to him in line for J&S and that there isn't going to be a problem for him to be waiting there before wearing said party band.

Thank you so much for all your help with this! I've updated my itinerary in my original post on page 8! I can't make dining reservations until monday and I thought it was at 7am Orlando time when they opened up. However, today I was online at 5:30 to make ADRs for my 4 night trip that backs right up to dh and my trip during the same week and I could make reservations that early!

3:30-4:15 MK party entrance-get wristbands at bypass
4:20-4:35 FP 7DMT - schedule for 4-5pm - this looks tight.
4:40-6:40 Seven Dwarfs in Storybook Circus - YELLOW Tent, came out last year 6:15/6:20
6:45-7:15 Queen of Hearts & Tweedles in Fantasyland
7:20-
  • See cruella de vil in storybook circus
  • Grab dinner at a QS restaurant in the area
  • Go to Tomorrowland for Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear
  • Watch Monsters Scream-O-Ween Ball (from 7pm-12 am)
  • Trick or Treat, shop in stores on Main Street
  • Get spot for parade on Main Street (11:15 pm)
Halloween Helpers please chime in! Timing seems tight but I know the long lines for Seven Dwarfs. I think Queen of Hearts looks good, but will Cruella fit in afterwards?[/QUOTE]

Hmmm I know I waited ages and I arrived at the Dwarfs line at 5:50pm. For 2016 I saw a post where Kenny the Pirate recommended 5:00-5:30pm to be within the first 10 families although if they take extra greet time then your finish time won't change. I agree with a slightly later FP, some of the photo ops in the bypass had a small queue.

I think Cruella would I don't think her line was too bad. I would say take advantage of mobile order for the QS (if you fall behind in schedule you can always take it with you to the next line). I can only speak for Cosmic Rays but it was packed, mobile order I waited 5 maybe 10 minutes for fries.

I can't remember her meet time but if we assume it was a 30min queue from 7:20 that brings to almost 8pm. Then by the time get QS (assuming mobile order) and are eating it might be near 9pm. Most will be getting ready to head to the first parade so Lotso and the dance party could be done. That's got to to bring it to around near 9:45pm so then head into the shops and trick or treat your way to the parade spot you want.

If DH has the app you can click on the location and say get directions, if you turn your gps on it'll know where you are given you a route to get there so he can find his way back, the closest would probably be the Ye Olde Christmas shoppe. And they will have to be placed on the wrist by the CM.

Jack and Sally location using google map street view, the yellow arrow is where you head for the front of the line, either behind the store or if you miss that there's a small passageway further up, hence the second yellow arrow.

So the red circle is roughly where the gazebo is and the purple line is where I remember the line going once the CM's moved it, I think it then went down the rest of that pathway.

Also this is where wristbands were being given out at Tortuga Tavern

Tortuga Tavern wristband collection.jpg

I was standing further up the first night and missed the queue, the second night I was there in good time but a line had already formed. On the first night Jack Sparrow after leaving the stage complimented me on my ears and got a bag of candy you get to start the night with from the CM's before going behind that door.

We had someone in this queue get all the way to the font to enquire about what was going on and wanting to buy a ticket only to be told it was sold out, I'm guessing they didn't know they had to leave the park at 7pm either. :(

@Cluelyss did you attend the Christmas party last year? Were there issues with FP's like we had with MNSSHP? And at the MVMCP they closed the park at 6pm, you were allowed in at 4pm did MK feel less crowded? Did you feel it was easier to find parade spots?

For anyone who attend last year, please feel free to chime in.

HI went to a MVMCP on 11/26/17 Sunday night. IDK if it was sold out.. We got there about 3:50 and at 4 was let in to get our wristbands, we got the SMK card and hustled to our first FP.. I booked Jingle Cruise from 3:15 - 4:15, then HM for 4:20 - 5:20, and BTMR for 5:25 - 6. We made all 3 ... we rode the Liberty bell between HM and BTMR, after BTMR we rode Pirates, watched a bit of the castle show where Elsa changes the castle to Ice, rode Buzz, ate at Cosmic Rays, waited in line for the Pooh characters about an hour, then rode 7DMT with a 25 min wait, we then waited to see Snow and Charming and Aurora and Prince Phillip then rode IASW and Peter Pan, watched the Castle show, then strolled down Main Street and got a pretty good spot - 1 back from the actual curb , by a trash can and stroller to watch the late parade.. And at some point I ended up getting eaten alive by no-see ems so my legs and feet were a mess for the rest of my trip (this was Sun we check out on Sat :( ) We had a great time..

I don't know how to plan my itinerary for this MNSSHP on 9/18 as we are a party of 11 including 3 toddler boys (all 2.5 yrs old) I know Moana is a priority for one family (2 ad, 1 ch) not sure what will interest the other families.. I would love to see the Pooh Characters and the 7 dwarfs (2 ad) I know we will want to trick or treat and we have memory maker so we should get some of the magic shots offered. I know we will want to see the parade and fireworks.. my Hub and I plan to stay even if the families with the littles go home.

I have never traveled with ones this little so I am at a loss. (my own were 8 and 5 our first trip)

The app wait times were grossly off. I'm inclined to think it's another way Disney manages crowds.

During the party did the app show ALL the character's? During MNSSHP it only shows "some" like the everyday characters. It would be nice if they utilized the app to it's full capacity.

Nope, only shows wait times for those that offer FP during the day. Nothing for the exclusive characters (sometimes not even locations!)

Wow!!! A few things - :worship:, :worship: and :worship:!!!::yes::

Equally happy to see mobile food orders worked out as the lines do get very long.
It's recommended just before your M&G you can place your order and pick it up then head to your next location. @lovingeire mentioned her friend did not like eating while standing in line. At certain meets there are barriers you can sit down on to eat like Queen of Hearts.

Thanks for info about Jack & Sally. I've never met them, been voted out by DH & DS waay too many times.:sad1:

Should we meet Cruella before the Queen of Hearts since she is in the same area as the dwarves?

October 25 / DH, DW

Considering this is your second party and if I were in your shoes I would want to slow it down and utilize some of those FP's!!! The sacrificial lamb might be the Dwarfs. Let's see how this works out...

3:30-4:10 MK party entrance-get wristbands at bypass - @Cluelyss reported the photo props can be found elsewhere. The bypass keeps party guests on the left hand side which leads us to Tomorrowland.
4:15-4:30 Space Mountain - Schedule FP for 3:15 - 4:15 - There is a FP grace period.
4:30-4:40 Peter Pan - Schedule FP for 4:20 - 5:20
4:40-6:10 Magic Shots, shopping, dinning - In Fantasyland
6:15-6:35 7DMT - Schedule FP for 5:25 - 6:25
6:40-7:10 Queen of Hearts & Tweedles in Fantasyland - Out at 7pm
7:10-7:30 Cruella De Vil - Out at 7pm - If Cruella takes more time - you have it available.
7:35-9:25 Magic Shots & Shop on Main Street, Pick up SotMK Card
9:30-9:45 Watch Monsters Scream-O-Ween Ball (from 7pm-12 am)
9:50-10:05 Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear
10:15 Dwarfs
11:15 Get spot for parade on Main Street (11:15 pm)
