Yeah it was weird but definitely nice that the CM was accommodating.

Loving all your pictures from AK we spent a lot of time there

Crowds for me were pretty good and so was the weather.

Yeah usually the paper FP are not good for Pandora.

Well actually I don’t know if it’s truly my limit. I could have done it a fourth but I think I was getting a little bored as well. It’s an amazing ride though!

The CM definitely saved the day!

Awesome that you got to ride FOP 3 times in a row! I can see how that would start to get to you though. On our trip this summer, I'm going to try at least once to do the standby queue for it though. I want to see that floating avatar!

We say RoL for the first time in January and I just loved it. Like you said, I know there are people who don't care for it, but I enjoyed it a great deal. Looking forward to seeing it again as well this summer!

Glad you enjoyed RoL! Its not flashy or anything which is likely why people dislike it but I find it to be very enjoyable.

Yeah, the CM definitely made up for the inconveniences. Thinking about it now I forgot to mention she also gave me 3 anytime FPs!

-Glad you got to try Satuli! We love that place. For those that have an aversion to dill pickles, be forewarned, they are embedded in the cheeseburger bao buns. I wish they still had breakfast there. It was really good when they had it. DH really likes the bowls.
- Do you know if that "warning card" is new? We didn't get those when we were there in January.
- I'm super excited for the new glasses on FOP!!!!!

I rope drop Magic Kingdom!

A bit of a break between updates. Life has gotten crazy busy. Work, and school mostly. Summer break can't come soon enough...

I woke up early enough to make rope drop for the Magic Kingdom or at least I had hoped. This was the line for the bus stop when I walked out!



No worries though I made it no problem to Magic Kingdom in time for rope drop.



Oh hey there castle!



The Main Street Citizens were out and about!



Everyone headed for Mine Train of course. I instead headed for Frontierland! It was pretty empty.



First order of business was my favorite MK ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!



I got the front row which isn't nearly as exciting as the back. I still enjoyed it though.



After that I decided to hit Splash Mountain!

I rope drop Magic Kingdom!

It was a Zip A Dee Doo Dah Day indeed!









After that I headed over to Pirates! The new Red Head scene has debuted the day before so I was excited to check it out.



And here it is....







So my thoughts...

The animatronic is really great. She has a speaking role and moves very nicely. Auctioning off chickens is a bit weird though. I think I will always have the nostalgia for the original version but this might grow on me. The story is a little disjointed which I think they could have done better but it is what it is at this point.

So moving along to the Peoplemover!

I rope drop Magic Kingdom!

The Progress City model. It would be amazing if they could have the entire thing on display somewhere. I can't imagine how huge the whole model was.



Gotta rest the feet right?





The people watching and views are great.





Then it was time to head out... I went to the monorail to go to the Contemporary to catch a bus to Disney Springs for my lunch ADR at one of my favorite dining locations Homecomin'! Please Stand Clear of the Doors!

Looked like a great day in the Magic Kingdom!

I am dreading my first ride on PotC with the new Auction Scene. I'm glad I get to see the original one more time at Disneyland before it leaves there.

I always put my feet on the other seat on the PeopleMover as well. I like to call the PeopleMover my "10 minutes of rest."

Solid day at MK! I’m happy they kept the red head, that animatronic is so cool and has so much history behind it. You’re right though, they probably could have come up with a better storyline for her.
People Mover is one of my favorite breaks from the parks. So relaxing.
