The closer it gets to Halloween the busier it gets. I do not believe one day is better than the other. I think that's more for the parties held in September and earlier in October. Stay focused on the exchange, if the weather becomes an issue always allow yourself another evening to attend.

I believe if you arrive early to any WDW resort and your room isn't ready, you could leave your luggage with the Desk and visit the parks.

If anyone has experience, please chime in. We fly Delta and our rooms have always been ready.

We would probably just hang out at Pop until the party that night. I’m hoping we get lucky with an early check in so I can take a nap before the party!

Does anyone know if DH and I will have a hard time getting seats together with Southwest? I just read that they have open seating and you get to pick seats when you get on the plane. I've never done that before, but it would really stink if I couldn't sit by him on the plane.

For some reason Frontier just be revamping their flight times. I know earlier in the year they had non- stops from stl that arrived in Orlando in the morning!

To be extra sure you have seats together on SWA you can pay the extra $15 for Early Bird boarding.....I think that ensures you get in the A boarding group in the first 30 spots

Peter Pan - Unfortunately I am unable to see his hours via WDW link below, I believe he met last year during regular park hours but I am unsure if Disney closed it down at the start of the party 7pm?

Would we be able to meet Peter Pan before 7? Or before we got in line for Moana? Do our Fastpasses need to be near where Moana’s meet is? (In Adventureland, right?)
Main priorities are Moana, parade, fireworks, Hocus Pocus and trick or treating. I want to do some magic shots and enjoy the snacks and such. I’d like to do some rides if possible but we have 4 other MK days so that would be last priority. Thank you for responding!

It’s $15 per person each way so it would end up being $60. I also read online that it doesn’t guarantee you a spot in the A group. The guy who wrote the article said it’s very possible you get put in the B group and he actually did. I think I’ll just treat our check in as a FP booking and make sure I do it the second I can lol.

Yes, we did MVMCP last year. I didn’t have any FP issues, but yes, they were reported by others. Can’t report on the “feel” around 6 as we were at dinner then.

No idea if the 6 pm close is the reason, but we attended on a sold out night (the last party to be exact) and I would have never guessed it was sold out if I didn’t know it was. Character lines were quite short and I walked up to a curb side parade spot moments before it started. But maybe we were just lucky.

@monique5 i know you did 2 parties last year, how did your other party compare?

I did the 2nd to last party and last party. I felt that the last party wasn't as crowded.

If you plan on attending the party the day you arrive I think most people do NOT use Disney Yellow Luggage Tags. I believe it's a three hour wait until you receive your luggage.

We didn’t use it last trip either when we landed at 8:30 pm. We will probably get our own bags again. It’s just one less thing to worry about.
