We have not been to Disney since 2013. We have 3 meals a day. We prefer character meals when possible.
We have never been to Epcot so that will be new. What restaurants have been added since our last trip and name your top ones from each park.

Thanks

I'll list our favorites in order and if not 5 listed, we don't like the other options in the park.:

  1. Le Cellier
  2. La Hacienda
  3. Chefs de France
  4. Via Napoli
  5. San Angel Inn

Magic Kingdom
  1. Be Our Guest
  2. Crystal Palace - One of our favorite character breakfasts, but we won't do buffets for dinner :crazy2: except for Cape May Cafe.

  1. Hollywood Brown Derby
  2. Sci-Fi
  3. 50's Prime Time

Animal Kingdom
  1. Tiffin's
  2. Yak & Yeti

Disney Property Overall
  1. Victoria and Alberts

We still have quite a few that we would like to try so I’ll just put the ones we have tried and thought were decent.
Epcot
Nine dragons
Teppan edo
Sunshine seasons

Ak
None so far

Mk
Pecos bill
Cinderella’s royal table

Hs
Backlot express
Sci-fi dine in theater

This is fun!

Magic Kingdom:
1. Cinderella's Royal Table (Yes, I even like the food)
2. The Plaza ( Like Eloise, I simply ADORE the Plaza!)
3. Columbia Harbor House (An old favorite for tasty salmon and fish & chips and people-watching from upstairs)
4. Be Our Guest
5. Sleepy Hollow/Liberty Tree Tavern (tie)
(haven't tried Crystal Palace or Skipper Canteen yet)

EPCOT:
1. Garden Grill (love Chip & Dale!)
2. Biergarten (unless we get lame table-mates)
3. Chefs de France
4. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (honestly, I might like this best because I love choosing my pastry, but since it's counter service it's getting number 4)
5. Rose & Crown
(haven't tried Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Akershus, Nine Dragons, or Teppan Edo)

Hollywood Studios:
1. Backlot Express (no one will agree with me, I know, but the Dark Side chicken and waffles are a tradition for us!)
2. Hollywood & Vine (the characters are great and I think the food is tasty too)
3. Mama Melrose
4. Hollywood Brown Derby (would rank higher but I think they over salt their food even beyond the Disney norm; the famous Cobb salad is more of a sodium salad)
5. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre
(haven't eaten at 50's Prime Time)

Animal Kingdom:
1. Yak & Yeti
2. Tusker House
3. Satu'li Canteen
4. Restaurantosaurus (I love the "end of the world" themed music!)
(this is all I have for this park since I haven't eaten at Tiffin's yet, nor, for some reason, Flame Tree BBQ, and I doubt the OP is interested in Anandapur Ice Cream Truck)

Favorites not in parks are Victoria & Albert's, Boma, and Raglan Road. My kids would vouch for Dinosaur but those chicken-nugget eaters don't get a vote.

Oh, and as far as what is new since 2013...Tiffin's and Satu'li Canteen for sure, and I think Skipper Canteen Jungle Navigation. I don't know what else, probably lots at Disney Springs.

No particular order on these, definitely check out mobile ordering if you're able to, it's a big time saver!

MK
Pinocchio Village Haus and Pecos Bill are our favorite CS restaurants
Be Our Guest and Liberty Tree Tavern are our favorite TS, however I think BOG is transitioning to a priced fixed signature restaurant, not sure when that's happening but we love breakfast there.

Epcot (no CS recommendations that we really like)
La Hacienda
San Angel Inn
we really like Mexican food!!

DHS
Sci Fi Dine in is our favorite TS- lots of fun!!
I have no favorite counter service at HS- sorry but I think HS has the worst counter/quick service restaurants in all of WDW

AK
We really like Flame Tree and Satuli for CS- we have not done any ADR's at AK but have heard Yak & Yeti is really good.

Resort dining
We love Ohana at the Poly for character breakfast- it's a lot of fun and nice that it's all you can eat but you don't have to get up and get your food, it's all served family style
Also really enjoy the dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, the characters are a blast
Boma Breakfast at Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's got a great variety of foods to please the crowds but it's a busy busy restaurant and I hate the wait.

These are in no particular order...

MK
1 - BOG (dinner)
2 - CRT (dinner), more for atmosphere/experience than food
3 - Pecos Bills

Epcot
1 - Garden Grill (our favorite character meal on property!)
2 - Biergarten
3 - all of the QS around WS are pretty good IMO

DHS
1 - Sci Fi (the only must-do my kids ask for on every trip!)
2 - H&V (the food is so-so but the characters are great)

AK
1 - Tusker House
2 - Yak & Yeti
3 - Flame Tree BBQ

We always eat at:

Magic Kingdom
1) Pecos Bill

Epcot
1) San Angel Inn
2) Coral Reef

Animal Kingdom
1) Flame Tree BBQ
2) Tusker House

Hollywood Studios
1) 50s Prime Time

Though our favorite restaurant may be Cape May Dinner, which is at the Beach Club, not too far away from the international gateway park entrance at Epcot.

MK
Crystal Palace
The Plaza
Cosmic Rays
Pecos Bills

DS
The Hollywood Brown Derby

AK
Flame Tree BBQ
Restaurantosaurus

Epcot
Chefs de France
Sunshine Seasons
Any F & G or F & W booth 8-)
Les Vins de Chefs de France

Resorts
Cape May
GF Cafe
Boma
Artist Point
Capt Cooks

Only going to list places I've either eaten at or have current ADRs. Ranking is not based on preference; just what hit my head first:

MK- we rarely eat more than a snack at this park and just go to the monorail resorts.

Liberty Sq. Market
Dole Whip (LOL)
Tortuga Tavern when they have the turkey legs on the menu. Otherwise it's a pass for me.

AK

Harambe's Markets
Flame Tree BBQ
Yak & Yeti restaurant

HS

Brown Derby
ABC Commissary
Catalina Eddie's
Rosie's All American

Epcot

VN
TD
Sommerfest
Tangierine Cafe
Yorkshire County Fish + Chips
I'll be honest regarding Epcot...there are wayyy more places to eat there that I like;).

The kiddos I travel with are past the character meal interactions so have never eaten at any of them.

  • Magic Kingdom: Liberty Tree Tavern, Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Royal Table
  • Epcot: Biergarten
  • Hollywood Studios: 50s Prime Time Cafe, Sci Fi
  • Animal Kingdom: I prefer the QS options there of Satu'li and Flame Tree
  • Resorts: 'Ohana, Trail's End, Whispering Canyon Cafe, 1900 Park Fare
There are many we have not tried but these are our favorites of the ones we have.

I do not recommend Hollywood & Vine under any circumstances at the Studios. It's the only one I've left off my list entirely.

MK - CP breakfast, LTT lunch, Tony’s dinner, and BOG dinner.
Epcot - Coral Reef lunch or dinner, Tutto Italia lunch, Chefs dinner, and Le Cellier dinner.
AK - TH breakfast and Rainforest Cafe lunch,
DHS - HBD lunch and 50’s PRC dinner.
Resorts - WCC breakfast, Cape May breakfast, Trails’s End breakfast, and Boma breakfast or dinner.

Curious are you open to doing signature locations which would probably mean 2 meals (still 3 credits) per day or do you want 3 actual 1 credit per day.

What is mobile ordering?

What is mobile ordering?
It's where you order on your phone before arriving to a quick service restaurant. You then can go back on your phone to click "I am here" at the restaurant and pick up your food when it is ready. It's essentially a way to skip the lines at quick service spots so you don't have to wait to order.

Magic Kingdom
Used to be Be our Guest but haven't done the new menu and it doesn't really appeal to me as a 2 credit dining experience.
The Plaza is a must do every trip.
Love the Taco trio at Pecos Bills
Liberty Tree Tavern---lunch is better because of the menu choices.
Crystal Palace--Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too!!!

Epcot
Akershus dinner with Princesses
Via Napoli
Rose and Crown
Garden Grill---Chip and Dale
Liberty Inn---great BBQ pulled pork sandwich.

Animal Kingdom
Satu'li Canteen
Tusker House---all meals with Donald Duck
Flame Tree---decent BBQ
Yak and Yeti---good food--great drinks

Hollywood Studios
Sci-fi Dine In is fun
50's Prime Time has great fried chicken
Mama Melrose's---we usually do the Fantasmic package because that line is crazy
Backlot Express has a decent burger

Not in a park favorites
Kona for breakfast---Mimosas made with Stitch juice
Ragland Road
Boatwright's Dining hall
