While I will never say best. I would suggest Fiji Longhouse to be close the the GCH with some great "Standard" views of the Monorails. Next up would be the Rarotonga Longhouse, slightly farther away from the GCH but it does have a number of King bed rooms if you only have one small toddler.

Note: Second Floor rooms do not have a balcony.

I stayed in Fiji previously... I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have any monorail views.

Fiji does have nice Monorail views and is close to GCH
Right— looks like marina on one side and other faces tropical greenery, beach, luau cove and monorail. Not all rooms will have all of those views, but if you look at a map of the Poly, you’ll have an idea of what you may be facing depending on the room.

Oops! I meant to say Fiji has great "marina views"!!! It does not have views of the monorail!

Correct. Pool on one side, marina on the other.

You guys are 100% correct, I meant to list Aotearoa and not Fiji. Typing has always been my second language. Aotearoa has some of the great Standard views of the entire Polynesian Village resort. I corrected my post to reduce me adding further to any confusion.

Just booked a 2 night stay for the Candlelight Processional. Only theme park view was available, but the CM told me the room would be in the Tuvalu longhouse. Any info from folks who've stayed there would be appreciated. I am so excited!

The Tuvalu longhouse is a good location for a TPV. There is nothing directly in front of the North side of the longhouse, that's right no ugly Bungalow over water blocking the direct view. There is no beach between the longhouse and the Seven Seas Lagoon, just a dock or what is commonly called a sea wall to stop wave erosion from the marina area.

Note: Second floor rooms do not have a balcony so I would suggest you request a 3rd floor room unless you want a patio on the 1st floor.
Note: If you want a patio there are only 4 rooms that are TPV.
