When in October did you go? I’m hoping to paint my face on 10/23 but I don’t want it to be really hot
It was 2015 on Oct 9th I think we always go the first two weeks in October. I was the Cheshire Cat and had a full face of pink and purple paint! I'm planning on face painting for the Oct 4th party this year and will play it by ear how much I get done. Thinking of mainly dramatic Sully eyes (going as James Sullivan Monsters Inc.)

Hi Everyone! Love this board, and this thread - so much great information. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

Just a quick clarification here - can someone explain to me how Tag Team works logistically? I understand the definition listed on page 1 of this thread. However I don't understand how one would act upon this in certain lines. Let's use Moana's 2018 line in the Tiki Room for example. If you are close to the front of the line in the switch back part (and you check that those immediately around you are happy to accommodate a tag team), how do you get BACK to your party? Do you have to talk to EVERYONE behind you first, or is it just a generally accepted method for these character waits? Isn't annoying to have to bump and ask (of course politely) through the crowd to get back to the start? I can understand when the line is just a "straight" line outside, easy to pop in and out. But I am wondering about situations like the above. Thanks!

When using Tag Team you need to make sure everyone in your party is back at least 15/20 minutes prior to the character coming out. I also recommend your family get in line together so those behind you can see and understand what is going on, how many people are in your party to prevent an unpleasantness when they return.

Hi and :welcome: to the party! Wow! Your itinerary is impressive! Can you tell me about your parents, are they handicap in any capacity?

8:25-9:35 Boo-To-You Parade in Frontierland or Liberty Square
Tag Team: 8:25-9:00 Trick or treating while we wait

9:45 - 10:30 Hallowishes Fireworks (10:15) Probably in Frontierland, or otherwise in front of Caseys Cnr (still deciding)

10:40-11:50 more Candy, Rides or possibly M&G - I would do the M&G first before they close the lines.

11:55-12:20 Hocus Pocus

12:25-12:40 Pick up SotMK card at City Hall on Main Street - Can be a bit of a wait but runs smoothly.

12:45- headless horseman shot

Well done! Your itinerary has been added to the Main page. If you make any changes just post a note with your date and I'll know where to find you. :-)

Thanks I appreciate any input that will make our trip run any bit somre soomly/efficiently :)

No disabilities with my parents they are 60 & 62 and are well used to holidays with lots of activity/walking, they are also big fans of thrill rides (although we will not be able to get my father on the teacups) Our party is planned for the end of our first week in Orlando (planning a quiet day for the morning of and day after)

The one question mark I am most on the fence about is if we should get in line for Stitch or Pooh first, I am hoping there might be more input after there are a few more parties

I agree about waiting for more info on Stitch so far what I've read it's confusing, please see: Post #2532

I’m hoping by late October I won’t have to worry about paint melting off my face lol

Okay... I talked to my niece this week and we have an loose itinerary for the party. This will be her first one and my second (my first was in 2013). I'm going as the Cheshire Cat. Pretty simple costume (Striped t-shirt, coordinating shorts and Crocs). Adding the Cheshire Cat face to the front of my ECV and the tail on the back. So, in essence, I'm the body of the cat. LOL My niece is going as Stitch. She is still working out the details.

Neither of us have any interest in the Hocus Pocus show.:duck: Our goals (in no particular order) are parade, fireworks, merch, Stitch M&G, Haunted Mansion, and ToT. Bonus goals are Maleficent dessert, Halloween cinnamon roll, Queen of Hearts & Tweedles M&G, Halloween Popcorn pail, Pooh & Friends M&G, and Magic Shots. We have 1.5 other days at MK, so rides are not a high priority.

Sunday, September 9th
Me (48) using ECV, DN (23)

3:30-4:10 MK Party Entrance
4:15-4:30 Party Bypass
4:40-6:00 BOG Dinner (still trying to get a time a little earlier via TP Res Finder)
6:00-6:30 Merch at Big Top Treats (gotta use my Disney Card from the Trivia contest :teeth:)
6:30-7:45 Elvis Stitch M&G
8:00-9:30 Trick or Treating (counter-clockwise starting in Fantasyland)
9:45-10:30 Hallowishes @ handicapped viewing area on the plaza
10:45-11:30 Parade @ handicapped viewing area on the plaza
11:45-12:00 Haunted Mansion

We used the Tommorowland facepainting a couple of years ago and I'm planning on using it again this year. Even though our party was in October we still melted. Just something to think about when getting the face painted earlier in the day

I read they will touch it up for you if you are sweating. We will likely wait until later in the day to get it done.

Sept 3rd
Me, DH (dressed as Newsies characters)

5:00-5:15 Arrive, Bypass
5:25-5:45 Jungle Cruise
5:50-6:10 Merchandise: Ornament
6:15-7:15 Pooh characters
7:20-7:40 Anastasia & Drizella, meet at 7pm
7:50-8:30 Tomorrowland/Fantasyland rides, ToT
8:40-9:35 Parade at 9:15 (like Post #1110, little earlier if party is crowded/sold out) - Tag team food/snacks
9:35-10:30 Fireworks at 10:15, near Casey's - Tag team food/snacks
10:30-11:55 Advenutreland/Liberty Square rides (POTC, HM, BTMRR), HM magic shots
11:55-12:20 Hocus Pocus show
Headless Horseman magic shot on the way out.

@FoxC63 Hi there! I noticed you put me on the September list on Post #1 instead of October. Just an FYI... :flower1: I know you've got a lot going on. Just didn't want my itinerary to skip the line. I did feel super cool being on the list :smooth:
