I was reading up on it on another site and it says giftcards are excluded

No prob. It sucks gift cards are excluded but not surprised. Any rate I got to save $25 and put a large payment on our package so I’m happy.

I wish you could use target cards to purchase other gift cards...especially when they have the 10% holiday discount on target cards but it is what it is.

Yes the 5% still works but I was saying coupons now always exclude gift cards. And the “entertainment” card distinction is no longer relavant.

For those doing Dosh, Sam’s Club discount back to 5%. Not as good as the 10% before but 5% + discount from Sam’s plus 1% back on credit card still better than most.

Target has closed all the gift card loopholes. The entertainment gift card distinction is no longer relevant.

Bummer! Someone on a different forum mentioned that it had worked for them (previously), but I guess that was prior to closing the loopholes?

I’d still be curious to hear from anyone that happens to already be buying a Disney gift card ... then I won’t have any ‘what ifs’ lingering in my mind

Bonus points usually post Mon-Fri. I’ve never seen them show up on weekends. Tomorrow they should hit your account.

I was going to run to Best Buy tomorrow and get a few gift cards, but the only QR codes I see now are for 2 SB per $1 spent, and the weekly ad SB deal. Also, if you read the fine print it says you can only receive SB once per day from Best Buy now. Did they catch on to us and put a stop to our earning?

Once a day has been in effect for a while now. 500 for $50 dead. Scroll on the SB BB page and you’ll see the new bonus point offer tiers. Not as lucrative but still something.

Every now and then I've had one take some extra time. For me, I think the longest was 5 or 6 days.

It’s been quite a while since gift cards hasn’t included all gift cards (including “entertainment” cards).

We have a Chase Freedom card so if I wait until Oct when it is 5% for using Chase Pay, is the best deal BB using SB QR code and Chase Pay QR code to buy $100 at a time over 3 days, or will it be just as good to go to Sam’s and combine their regular deal with Chase Pay provided they have Disney gc’s in stock in store? Also, you guys are amazing as I just learned about the Chase Pay app and forgot all about bonus SB for in store purchases.

I think the best deal is Best Buy in $100 transactions over 3 days. SB is 9.5% back plus chase pay 5% back plus I think you still get the regular 1% back from chase plus if you’re a Best Buy rewards member you’ll get points back. So looks to be about 15.5 back for every 100
Sams would get you around 11
If you don’t live close enough to Best Buy, and you have to factor in gas, then it may end up being about the same.
We don’t live close enough to a Best Buy to make it a regular run, but I’ve been picking up $100 each time I’m close. For me, it’s the best deal (currently purchasing with BB credit card)
