Disney Gift Card Deals

Has anyone used a Happy Kid gift card at BB&B? The Happy Kid says it can be used at Buy Buy Baby and since those two stores normal gift cards are interchangeable, I wonder if the Happy Kid will work there?

Yes. I tried it and had no problem.
Oh great, thanks for the info! I know Gift Card Mall already has all the Happy cards 20% off. Staples has the $50 Happy Kid for $40 and I have a 10% BofA cash back for Staples (max $6) so I'll buy one from there, too. I just wasn't sure if the Happy Kid would work at BB&B.

I’d test it out with a small amount first before sinking too much into BBB cards. Yes, Buy Buy Baby cards work at Bed Bath & Beyond but sometimes employees get a little too militant if they see you’re trying to buy a GC with a GC and they have their own interpretation of policy. I kept my Happy card out of sight until it was time to pay and then I swiped it and chose credit instead of debit.

Looks like BJ's discount is about 6% now instead of the 8% it had been. I just got my Discover card late last night so I didn't purchase them in time before the discount was gone (SMH). Any chance they'll go back to 8% before the month (and 5% cash back) is over?

Rats. I didn't purchase last night because the website said sale was on until the 16th.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a quick way to get some discounted Disney GC's. I'm leaving for WDW on Sat, and have enough GC's for food and souvenirs (do you ever really have enough?) and now I want to upgrade my UT ticket to an annual pass. I have an Amex offer for $30 off $300 at Best Buy. I want to pair that with swagbucks. The best way to do that is 3 $100, correct? Do I have to do them on 3 separate days? Thanks!

An update on my BBB experiences...as some of you may remember, I sent my hubby into a BBB to redeem Happy Cards for Disney gift cards. He was accused of money laundering and humiliated. I called corporate, they apologized and said that should not have happened. I then received a voicemail from their area customer service manager who apologized and said it should not have happened and she addressed the issue.
After reading everyone’s success stories here, I convinced hubby that all was well and talked him into going into another store to redeem the cards. Well.....
The cards wouldn’t work, so the girl at the register asked to see what card he was swiping and after that it went downhill quickly. He explained that we had talked to this area manager but the store manager said no. Hubby is now convinced that because everyone else is successful they are somehow discriminating against him
I am still trying to contact this customer service manager who apparently travels from store to store and no one can ever seem to find her.

I would try to make a small purchase at different store to see if the card works at all. My HG card was defective.

Also, I'll add that so far I've saved about $475 using Wells Fargo offers (in < 3 months). I may have spent a total of 2 hours of my time saving this money. It's a decent hourly wage for a single mom:)

There you go! We payed off a 15 year mortgage in 13 years, stretched our money to take two trips annually on a single income and we're only 55 years old!

Staples is another story, it's so far out so I don't bother.

What I have noticed this year is the lack of gift card offers like "Buy a $10 XXXX gift card, Get $15.
XXX = Target, Whole Foods or Starbucks.

Anyone else notice that? Groupon use to do these regularly.

Yes in order to get the Swagbucks credit, each $100 must be done in a separate day. Also each must use a unique QR code. Have a great trip!

Have you been able to buy Disney gift card using a Safeway gift? I didn't think my Safeway allowed it, but honestly haven't tried.
Super ymmv. Some allow it, some don't. Mine allowed it until the manager saw me one day and told me how it absolutely wasn't allowed and I haven't been allowed to do it sense.
