WOAH - yeah totally forgot about that...

To all those tags originally in this: @Haley R, @amalone1013, @speedyfishy, @DisneyMandC - sorry, I'm sure you've all been trying hard ;) but it's over...

...UNLESS - did this baby have to be conceived AFTER you found our group? :scratchin:scratchin:scratchin We're going to have to check the T&Cs on that...

Also for those that aren't sure how to enter...let me just put this here for you:
Wow, was that really only the beginning of this month?

Yeah, I am pretty sure DisVegas had an unfair advantage since I don’t think the contest has been running more than 9 months...carry on contestants!
As Benevolent Dictator of this thread and
Destroyer of Worlds - I am officially naming @Alexle2007 as Czar of the Baby Competition!

And @WVMomof3 can be Co-Czar because she came up with it!

When I read DOC's article about the Chase Bonus Tracker, it said it was only personal and only showing in the app so far (at that time...) So in case anyone missed the update like me :rolleyes1, I see it for a business card in my online login in the UR portal...
I just checked my CIP again. Doesn't show the tracker. Maybe Chase is like "hey, this guy is so close. Lets not even bother rolling it out to him"

I had to help a girl out and just ordered one. I did receive an email confirmation about 5 min after I completed the order. It is on backorder until 3/30.
I knew it was on back order and technically I should’ve already gotten an order because we ordered it like a month ago, but I guess the order didn’t go through? I see no charge and we never received an email. Hopefully the lady on Twitter can help me out

I'm confused as to why your backpack hasn't arrived already? Seems to me that was quite a while back?

How long do your deliveries take? Mine are usually here with the cheapest shipping option in a week or less.
The backpack was on backorder so that could’ve been why but idk if it just didn’t get ordered or what happened. I went through the chase portal so maybe it messed up. I have no idea

And going back to when my daughter was younger, we had to put her in the car and drive around the block. She would go to sleep and then we got her back into her crib. We moved long distance when she was 8 months old and after that had no problems - I guess she got sick of the car after 2K miles.

Now, I have an older friend who babysits one child during the day. At nap time, the child goes in the carseat and goes for a ride around the neighborhood - only way she can get her to sleep.

:) My youngest was trouble at nap time. I would put her in the car, drive around a while, pull into the attached garage, and put the baby monitor in the car while she slept so I could hear if she woke up. I NEEDED her to nap while the other 2 were at school, and getting her out of the car while asleep didn't work.

I don't see it on my new CIP...

Reports on r/churning and DoC say having the tracker on your new card is very YMMV. Some have it, some don't. May be something that Chase is slowly rolling out.

Thanks everyone for all the information and feedback. I understand the point to cash calculation now with using the CSP versus the CSR, but where I got stuck is looking at room rates on the CSP it shows by points per night. If the points per night is the same on the CSR portal, is the difference earned simply with more qualifying nights?

After 45 minutes on the phone with Hilton (and forwarding the CS agent the e-mail), they are saying it looks like a scam. They have sent an e-mail to the GM at the property just to make sure that the booking is intact and I don't need to send them a payment directly.

Scary as they had all my info -- dates, reservation number, name and e-mail address. What they didn't have was the fact that I booked 2 rooms and they were only trying to collect payment for 1 -- that was a red flag for me. That and why would I need to pay the hotel directly when I already input my cc info into the Hilton website. I have to call them back on Thursday to see what the GM of the property said (he has 3 business days to respond).

It honestly never occurred to me that it was an actual scam. Wow!

Has anyone on this thread had their accounts closed by Chase? I read an article from about a year ago indicating Chase was closing accounts down out of the blue if they felt the card user was opening the card for the sole purpose of earning travel rewards. I was just curious if that was still happening?

that is quite possibly an abuse of awards most likely.

These days, Chase is very worried about bustout. so they shut u down for that. most ppl are caught in that algorithm.

The points per night will be less when booked with the CSR vs the CSP on the Chase Portal
For example the two bedroom I have booked for 8 nights with my CSR uses 133,133 URs if I booked with DHs CSP it would use 159,760 URs

You're looking at the points it's going to cost you to book a room using the points on DH's CSP? Then if you were to book with a CSR it would be approx. 20% less than what you're seeing. Let's say you're looking at booking a room for four nights which would cost $750 cash through the Chase Travel Portal. If using the CSP it would be 60,000 points, booking through the CSR would be 50,000.

Thank you for explaining this. That makes sense. Is there ever availability on one portal but not the other?
