Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

Does anyone know if the Minnie Van shuttle pickup from the airport and drop off at the Swan/Dolphin?

@drquest S/D is still on the no go list, "Service is not available for the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Four Seasons Orlando, Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, Walt Disney World Gateway Hotels and Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels." Minnie Van Service

But you might call to verify, (407) 939-7529.

@OhDannyBoy They do have small fridges, but not microwaves.

Microwaves: Available for your ease of use are complimentary microwaves on select guest room floors of the resort as well as in Picabu and Fuel, both located at the Dolphin. Microwaves are located at the Swan on the 3rd and 6th floors next to the East Wing ice machines, as well as at the Dolphin hotel on the 6th and 9th floors next to both the East and West Wing ice machines.

Hi Swan/Dolphin experts!!

I'm looking to book at the Swan for a December trip, and the room type I'm looking at says "Cribs not permitted" in the Beds and Bedding section of the room info -- room type is "2 Queen Beds, Resort View, Balcony, Deluxe Guest Room".

We have a 2 year old who would need a pack and play or crib (we're not fussy!) so certainly don't want to book and find out it's not an option in that room type.

Is this a real thing? Are there certain room types at the Swan that don't allow for pack and plays? Or is this talking about full-size cribs?

Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Thanks so much.

Just wondering if anybody had any experience with pack and plays in "no crib" rooms at the Swan? Thanks so much!

We just got back about 3 weeks ago from Swan and had our pack n play up in a 2 queen bed, resort view room without a problem. However, I don’t remember any disclaimer on our reservation about no cribs etc. I’d give them a call and see if it’s an issue. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating!

I'm new to the Swan & Dolphin but trying to book a room for 3 adults 2 children. I'm confused about the rooms and rates!

Firstly the website is charging me extra person rate for my 7 year old - I thought kids stayed free?

Also, I can't understand why the Premium Studio King only sleeps 3 when it appears to have a sofa bed for 2 and accommodates a rollaway? The option for five people seems to be the Premium Deluxe Room which shows photos of the Studio - are they the same thing? And do either of them have a seated dining area where we could have an in room breakfast? Sorry for all the questions, but I've gone back and forth over and over and can't figure it out!

Someone who has better expertise can correct me if I’m wrong but since the Marriott takeover, people have been erroneously charged an extra person fee for children when booking through the app and web site. (Children do indeed stay free.) You are better off calling to make the reservation.

Back in September there was a report they'd fixed the problem which was Marriott wide. You might check the post after mine from katherine52478, she called and got reassurance.

We are here!!!! Awesome view of ToT!! So we are in the West area. What’s the best route to walk to Epcot???
Congrats! The walk either YC/BC or Boardwalk is only about 1/10th of a mile difference, BW is the slightly shorter route.

Has anyone shopped at the Publix in Lake Cay Commons (9930 Universal Blvd)? It’s the one our car service stops at on the way to the Dolphin. It seems as though their “pick-up in-store” feature only allows for deli, and our ride service asks us to keep the stop at 20 minutes.
I’m just curious as to what the store is like- Small, large, always crowded, laid out well?
We just want to get some cases of water and some snacks and cash in a lottery ticket (big winner-$3! Lol)
