Obviously I'm missing something for the Chase offers. I can see them on personal accounts just fine. What magic do I need to see them for biz logins?

EDIT - found them in the app, but it crashes every time I click to see more offers. Updated app, but maybe I need to uninstall and reinstall.
I tried the uninstalling reinstalling cycle and no dice.

Question on the SW Statement Credit for $75 on the Performance Card.... So, pretty much all flights we have are not direct and have a stopover. If I use the credits to upgrade at the counter that would only cover for 1 of the flights correct - not the 2nd flight that was the stopover?

So, basically the $75 credit can be used only on EB or upgrades at counter? Am I missing anything else it can be used for?

Edit: Nevermind I see it is 4 upgraded seats each year. So again assuming this will only work on 1 leg of the flight... correct.

I've never been able to find any offers on any of my Chase biz cards either, on app or through the website. I’ve gotten a few decent offers on my personal cards. P2’s IHG card always has only two offers on it. Starbucks and Little Caesar’s.

Can't speak for @Alexle2007 but I earned enough with CIC SUB buying gc with the CIC at OD/OM. I'm now working on another Hyatt redemption and will do the something similiar with that.

CIC-->OM/OD (or Staples)=5X UR
ETA-CIC UR--> CSP/CSR/CIP
CIP/CSR/CSPUR-->Hyatt=free nights

(sorry I left out that step)

So I need another 11 K Hyatt points...wait for another OD/OM promotion, buy $2200 worth of gc and then have 11K Hyatt points to round out my 29K and 1 night in Copenhagen done. :)

Obviously much easier to just pay for the night OOP but not nearly as fun, lol.
Thanks, @tink1970! I use the exact same process.

I can then use the MCGCs and VGCs to maximize my point earning and cover things that would have earned me less points or no points at all like my mortgage.

ETA: Meant to tag @hsmamato2

Here is how our Sea World/Busch Gardens trip is shaking out:
  • Flights: via SW with CP, DEN-MCO Wed PM, TPA-DEN Mon AM - 18k RRs RT or $278pp (Wednesday is only $49pp!)
  • Hotels:
    • 3 nights at Universal's Endless Summer Resort, Surfside Inn & Suites - $295 cash with AP rate
    • 2 nights at Hampton Inn across from Busch Gardens - 68k Hilton points or $275
  • Busch Gardens/Sea World tickets from 2 Park $75 Daily Getaways deal
  • Rental Car: Alamo a few minutes down the street from SI&S, midsize car - 6600 URs or $99
Let me know how Endless Summer is. We have seen the resort but haven’t stayed there yet or Adventura.

If you are paying for a flight it can be used for that as well

I believe the name on the Driver's license has to match the name on the credit card so I do not believe you can do this. Though I remember @SouthFayetteFan was doing this and was able to? Am I remembering that right? Maybe it was with free driver, so rental was under Mrs SFF but since he had free 2nd driver all was good because she was there but didn't want to drive. But if Zack is by himself then I am thinking no go.
In June, I rented from Alamo with my CSR. I was told the name on the rental agreement had to match the name on the card & I had to show them the card and my DL. I was going to be an authorized driver anyway (since Costco allows a free one) so we changed the agreement from DH's name to mine. Not sure how URs would play into that, but if you have to make a claim for damages, and only DH's name is on the contract that could get messy.

This was the rental where I left it with valet, and the rental car got hit by another guest entering the parking area. That claim still hasn't been resolved, and that was 5 months ago. I've called at least 4 times for updates, and it's still in pending mode. I really hope you don't have to ever deal with something like this, and this is with the CSR and rental agreement in my name.

ETA: It's not Chase giving me the runaround on this, it's Alamo's Damage Recovery Unit.

Thanks both. This didn't even cross my mind when I booked the rental for DH tonight through Sunday :scared: And I'm sorry you are dealing with that claim nonsense! I hate how those things are dragged out :sad2:

I only thought of this last night while booking our rental for next weekend. Ugh. Usually DH likes to drive and I don't care so I don't fight him on it... hmm...

Yeah! I figured this is kind of a good chance to try it. We are normally open to close types, and like the flexibility of walking back to the hotel if the boat lines are long. But since this is one day of parks and we'll probably eat in City Walk after our Sea World day, I figured we could deal (really DH lol) and this would be a good time. It would be harder to talk DH into this over the others if it was a full Uni trip but it's so dang cheap! We've done Cabana Bay and Aventura and liked them both too, and they were really only $14 more a night pre tax.

ETA: Plus it will be close/easy to pick up the rental, which also swayed me.

I tried Google with no luck. When you add MCGC to Plastiq do they pool into one account? Or are you required to make multiple smaller payments? If I want to pay my mortgage can I add and pool multiple gift cards in order to make the payment with 1 check?
Thank you
quoting myself hoping @Alexle2007 can answer this 😀

Edit- The $75 statement credit isn't on the Performance Biz card. The Performance Biz has GE/TSA pre credit instead with the 4 upgraded boarding positions. Thanks for the catch @alryan ! For people with the Priority card (personal) that does have a $75 credit:
The $75 statement credit can be used on anything Southwest - booking a cash flight, EBCI, taxes and fees, to even a GC.(excluding Upgraded Boardings and inflight purchases) You should able use it to buy upgraded boarding also.

There is a separate benefit for upgraded boarding reimbursement, up to 4 upgrades per year. Each leg would be a separate upgrade if you have to reboard the plane. The upgraded boarding, where you buy at the gate to get into the leftover 'A' positions, is only available at the gate and not guaranteed to be available.

You need to call your mortgage company to see how they handle multiple payments that are less than the total mortgage due. Some call it a reclassification, or something like that. I was told I couldn't do it by the first person I talked to. HUCA. The next person said the payments would go into a suspension account and I could ask for those to go toward my mortgage. My mortgage statement calls it a Long Form Misapplication Reversal. Last month was the first time I've done it, and it was two payments. This month will be four payments so that will be interesting.
I just realized we haven't used SW $75 Priority card travel credit. Can the credit be used for Early-Bird check-in?
Sure can.

This is great information, I had no idea. Thank you.
DH's original card was opened 3/24/18, upgraded 10/07/19.
I'll pay the prorated AF later this month, then pay $450 in April 2020? I can downgrade the card 11/01/2020?
Do you usually wait for the FNC to post before downgrading? You only have 30 days after the renewal to get your money back. Or do you guys think it's worth keeping this card and not downgrade?

See if this helps.

You will have to do multiple payments and let your mortgage company know ahead of time or at least watch to see how they handle it. I had checked before, but they didn't apply properly, had P2 call about it and they have our acct set now so that all payments get credited properly now. I've only ever done 2, but I'm thinking of doing more since 2 MCGC/VGC won't cover it.

Can you see them? I just pulled up my account and still don't see them, but not sure if I'm looking in the right place.

I can't see them on my computer either - only in the app and it crashes every time I try to view more.

I tried the uninstalling reinstalling cycle and no dice.

Tried and it didn't work for me either.

I see a link to dispute on the compose message screen in SM. Have both charges posted? If the charging company made the mistake, I wonder why they don't just refund it.
yeah...it was town water bill so hmmm thanks I'll look for that link

Did you close before the AF hit?
I’ve only had the card 6 months. I’m just not interested in playing around with their crappy website and terrible AF refund and procedures so I’m getting out early. I told them the business is closed lol
You’re welcome. Clearly, CSR is a card that I will never cancel or PC.

It depends on how you value those UR points and whether or not it’s worth it to you. PlanePrincess and I just had a similar discussion on using UR points for a Hyatt stay or going elsewhere and maybe paying OOP. In the end it was decided that our UR points were too valuable for other things than to waste on a Hyatt transfer since we just needed a place to sleep and weren’t planning on hanging out at the hotel at all. Meanwhile, Ashford Castle for next year was booked by paying with UR points on the travel portal.
I just play the PC game. We currently have 2 CSRs and when those AFs hit next year we’ll dump them to a CF and get 2 new CSRs. 🤣 I offset the PC Dates for each of us by about 6 months and I make sure to book travel on the CSR that will still be a “CSR” when we take the trip haha

I can’t remember at all what I did here 😂
