Here’s the link. 50% off family membership. What discounts do they offer with Gold membership.

Here’s all the discounts https://d23.com/discounts-and-offers/

Don't think I've ever used any. I started to use the Super Shuttle one once and realized there were better discounts out there.

Since I'm in Orlando I usually go to a few of the events every year. Though this year I only did the Lion King screening. Next year is Destination D so I will probably want a membership so I can attend that.

I've bought nothing. Where are the good deals?!?! Surely, our patience will pay off...
Spent $135 online at Disney plus linked thru Rakuten for 10% off. Got niece 3 Little Mermaid/Flounder things for less than $30, Disneyland T-shirt’s for DS and DH for next year DLR trip, and splurged on a new personalized tree skirt since I’ve wanted one for awhile.
I went to kohl’s last night after remembering I had $40 of expired kohl’s cash to spend. Our store has a whole Disney section over by accessories. Hair ties and scrunches, bags and wallets that look loungefly’ish, super cute sweatshirts and other fun stuff!
Kohl’s here doesn’t take expired Kohl’s cash. Lucky you.
You know what the problem is with Thanksgiving? The lack of 2 ovens. Lol.
Seriously. I could do so much more with another oven. Yesterday, 2 pies and 70 rolls. Today, turkey baked at 325, then Brussels sprout roasted at 400 but had to wait for turkey to finish. When I was a kid, my dad put our old stove in the basement when they bought a new one, so we had 2 when needed. I tried to get DH on board with that but nope. I’ve never had a kitchen big enough for 2 oven but it would be a dream.

That’s a really hard choice. I’m leaning more towards the breakfast and saving money. DAH is pretty awesome but you said you’ve done it before right?

Yes I have done it a couple times. And they are offering it in March when we go again and then we will be staying at BLT which would make it easier. Or instead of DAH in March we are also there when they do the Villains thing which we have never done. So yeah thinking about it saving the money probably makes the most sense. It will bug me if we didn’t stay until 1 and really that is pretty late and I don’t think we would last that long. If the weather is miserable (more likely in December) we really will leave before 1.

Thanks for the help!

We will overlap by 1 day! We arrive at the Poly on Sunday and fly home on Saturday. We love DAH, but haven’t tried it with a kid yet. Not sure it is worth it with how much time you have in MK already. Probably depends on how busy it is during regular days and I feel like that is a wild card with RoR opening!

Yes everything was scheduled and then boom RoR opening was announced. If it wasn’t D11’s favorite park I would probably just avoid HS.

I won’t lie. I love my double ovens. I have both going several times a week. Mine are wall ovens but my next door neighbor has double ovens built into her range. Not quite as spacious but still very useful.

Yes we really utilized our double ovens today! One of those things I wouldn’t pay extra for but was happy it just happen to be in the house we bought haha

I think I managed to finish Christmas shopping save a few small deals that don’t start until tmrw. We arw doing Christmas with our familes early this year so I am super worried about shipping time (but also...I refuse to pay for shipping so the slowest free methods is what I chose hahaha)

Our new house has double ovens and it is amazing! First time I've ever had them.

Kids and Grandma are tucked into bed so DH and I are going to head out and try to get some shopping done. I don't have much on my list for tonight but it would be nice to knock a few more things off it.

ILs have a steam oven and I love it. It can do so much, steam veggies, cook rice, reheat things (including old hard bread or leftovers without drying them out), bake, use it as a normal oven, you can cook with steam setting so things dont dry out ie porkchop are great in it, it doesnt transfer flavors so you can cook multiple items and they dont taste like each other. It is This close To replacing the microwave, minus the instant zap and price tag.

That sounds so nice! So it sits on the counter top like a microwave might?

One of my ovens has a convection bake setting, which I use all the time, but it also has convection roast. And I really have no clue what to use that for. I tried looking it up once and just came away more confused so I've never used it :confused3

It is in the wall above the regular oven. They have theirs plumbed but apparently there is also the option to have reservoir you fill instead. I've never looked but I wouldnt be surprised if there are smaller countertop models. Theres is probably 1/2 to 2/3 of a normal oven size inside

So cool! I'll have to keep that in mind if we decide to replace our wall ovens. If I can ever catch HD gc's on sale through MR's, I'm considering cashing out all my points and replacing our appliances. They are overdue.

You only need 1 past cruiser in the cabin to get the rate. Thought I’d mention that in case you’re traveling with other people who have sailed NCL before.

Do you already know you’re doing cruise line excursions at 4 ports? My parents’ cabin had the port credit last cruise, but didn’t end up using it at all.
I have to ask my friend and it's been crazy today (we hosted), but I texted her this a.m. and hope we can connect before the promo ends. I kinda want to cancel our travel agent reservation and rebook with Chase bow that we have a UR balance again to apply, but we have rooms together and all that.

I’m not sure how much I helped but I tried lol. Also, we thought the normal DAH was much better than the villains DAH

Saw on Cruise Critic that Carnival is doing 10% off shore excursions, excluding Alaska. Canceled and rebooked the 2 that we had. The promo code appears to only work once. I did the two separately since I wanted to make sure everything worked. Maybe it would have worked if I checked out with both together. But made an account for DH and then it worked again. One was booked with GC, so then I learned that refunds don't go back since their GC are not reloadable. I'll have to follow-up to make sure they send me replacements.

DH was working on switching to Verizon -all- day. It was an exercise in frustration. Luckily, all we had to do for Thanksgiving dinner was show up and eat, lol. He finally got it to go through, but it was past midnight EST, so no idea what's going to happen with the today only deal (why even have a deal for Thanksgiving Day only??). 🙄

@Judique not sure if you booked yet but the DVC website is showing BWV SV Studios open on 10/25 and 26 as of now

Yes, thank you! I did see your post earlier but was too busy to answer. I also saw it go to 10/27 as well, but I need the 28th today, or the 29th tomorrow, and on and on. My actual target dates are Oct 28 to Nov 7, with the 28 and 29 at BCV, and from Oct 30 - Nov 7 at BWV.

This morning Yesterday morning I got 'in' again and then got the 7 Dwarfs - 'we are working on it.' by the time it resolved, standard and boardwalk view were gone. So, I booked Oct 28 and 29 at BCV, and Oct 28 onward in garden view at BWV and will modify if allowed to boardwalk or standard and add my additional nights or if a chance comes for me to change to either standard or boardwalk view as the days come that I actually want. At least I have actual days that I want locked in, just not in the view I prefer. And, 2 days ago, I could have locked in Boardwalk view, but I was still set on standard (and saving 29 points!) so I let it go. At least I got smarter before garden view was gone.

Nice! What kind of reward did she receive?

She's 2, not 3 until January. I let her have more Oreos. This is the kid that will drink my coffee if she finds it unattended, loves animals and knows how to be gentle with them, unlike other grand daughter who doesn't quite have the right touch. My cats hide when she comes. She also got upgraded at preschool - she's apparently ahead of the curve, so they put her in the next class. DD was asking should she put her in school a year earlier, meaning she would be same level as her sister. I'm not so sure of that.
