Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I've stayed at all the CLs you mentioned and they are all great in their own way. Our most recent stay was the weekend before Christmas at CR CL (first time at CR) and it was amazing!! The lounge was nice and relaxing, the food offerings were good/quickly replenished, and the CL staff was awesome! I don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices as they are all great. I would maybe choose the one that the theme/décor and/or location appeals to you the most. Good luck and enjoy the planning :).
Oh I gave up choosing based on decor a long time ago when I take DH along, the only decor that doesn't throw him off is WL lol. He has always said he'll never stay at CR, but he was the one that put it in our top three last night so maybe things are changing *fingers crossed*. I think I remember reading about your stay (if I'm thinking of the same person, so many posts to go through), and I told DH that people had recently had a great stay there so I'm kinda hopeful we'll end up at CR CL at this point. It would be nice to just walk to MK, and after this summer it will be the only deluxe I haven't stayed at (I have stayed at BLT but I don't count that lol). Here's hoping he doesn't change his mind. Thank you!

Ok, now I’m having a dilemma (total first world problem dilemma!). My mom wants us to consider Boardwalk Inn CL instead of Poly CL. She is concerned that the food in the Poly lounge won’t appeal to the kids and that it will be very pork and shellfish based BC of the theming. We don’t eat meat or shellfish, but we do eat fish (kosher). I am torn. Can anyone help me with info on the following to help me decide?
1. Food - what’s it like at BWI?
2. Lounge atmosphere - is either poly or BWI more kid friendly (we have a ten year old and a six year old)
3. Pools - anyone have opinions on which is better?
4. Room size. We’ll have five in one room - is either significantly bigger?
5. Transportation - we’ve always stayed on the monorail and I’m scared about not doing that. Is the walk to Epcot or Hs really doable?
Any other points of comparison you have would be appreciated! I hate not being sure!

There’s a lot of seafood offerings at BWI as well! From my own experiences bringing young kids, I think Poly would work better for you. Magic Kingdom access is superior, the pool(s) are awesome, & there is a kids food station. We always request a ground floor room& the patio serves as extra hang out space. We’ve even sat on the patio while the kids played in the nearby sand.
There is a splash pad at the main pool too. The BWI pool was not my gkids favorite- and not because of the clown slide!
I think you can ask or request kosher foods in the lounge. My vegetarian friend asked about options for her & the chef offered to make things specially for her.
Oh, yeah- the quick service options are much better at the Poly. You have to go out to the boardwalk to get fast food at BWI. We do love BWI & have stayed there many times, so please don’t think it’s not a great place! But my now 11 year old grands always prefer Poly & have since they were young!
PS And the rooms feel much larger & we happen to prefer the larger bathroom too. If you like the sink on the outside as opposed to inside with the tub & toilet, then you’d prefer BWI.

This is so helpful. Thank you so much!

When you check into Club Level, will they keep your bags if your room isn't ready or will you still need to take them down to bell services?

We typically give them to bell services as soon as we arrive, that way we don’t have to worry about them! They give you a number to call whenever you are settled in your room, and they bring them up fairly quickly! Have a great time!

Hi!

I don't remember a lot about the CL food but I can tell you what we like about the resort:

We love the clown pool at BWI! Now, I love the Poly and the relaxing feel of the resort but we love the BWI pool especially when the kids were smaller. I can see them much better at BWI and the slide is the best!

I think the poly rooms are slightly bigger but they both work great for our family of 5.

You can't beat the monorail for access to MK and I LOVE riding the monorail, but HS is an easy walk(15-20 min) or boat ride away and EPCOT is an even easier walk (5-10 min).

Poly and BWI are actually our 2 favorites. Poly has a more relaxing vibe while BWI has a more playful boardwalky (LOL) vibe. The magicians and performers on the boardwalk are great in the evenings.

Good luck in making your decision, but both are great!

Have a great trip!

Oh, yeah- the quick service options are much better at the Poly. You have to go out to the boardwalk to get fast food at BWI.
The last time I checked you need to walk (outside) from your longhouse to the main building to get quick service. Guaranteed if you are staying in Hawaii or other longhouse located nearby it is a farther walk to the main building, than if you left the BWI lobby to go to the boardwalk itself to get something to eat.

Besides, if you are staying CL at either resort I'd think your visits for QS food are very minimal.

1. Eggs, 2 hot dishes, yogurts, pastries, cheeses, fruits, meats are breakfast, with a hot waffle bar on Sundays
Lunch will have popcorn, chips, veggies, 2, 3 dips, cheese, 2 sandwiches and a candy/trailmix bar
Dinner is a chef preparing 2 dishes, usually from Tratoria these days, used to be from Flying Fish. Along with same chips, veggies, cheese and meats. Oh, and there are usually 2 salad type additions.
2. BWI doesn't do a "kids food table" like some do but any kids we've brought have loved the BWI lounge. The staff loves kids
3. I'm a bad one to give opinions. I like any pool that gets you wet. They both do that, LOL
4. Poly has a bigger room but I know a friend who had 5 adults in the BWI room and had no problems
5. Yes, both parks are 100% walkable. Epcot is EXTREMELY close. HS is less than a mile. MK is an easy bus ride away. I'll take the walk to Epcot from BWI over the monorail from Poly 10 times out of 10.

Thank you! This is a tough call!

Thank you so much! I’m so torn, sigh.

There have been a few questions about Poly CL food above. Some offerings last week are below.

Each night has 3-4 small plate dishes that make up the bulk of the offerings, plus a kids table that has two items (usually a hot item such as pasta or nuggets and cut up PBJ, no pictures). The Poly menu isn't exactly identical trip to trip from my experience, but it is variations on a theme, more or less. Note: not pictured are the various accompaniments - cheeses, crackers, rolls, veggies, etc. These pretty much stay the same nightly.

Crab Croquette w/ Poblano Aioli
Pork Mojo Banh Mi

Same night...
Salmon Mouse (taste is subjective, but this was not my favorite)
Edamame Corn Salad w/ Fried Rice Noodles
463523

Another night...
Kona Coffee BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi
463524

Same night,
Heirloom Tomato Salad
I didn't get a closer pic of what's on the left, but I think it's a cold salmon or other kind of fish dish.
463525

Another night....
Chicken Huli Huli
Sauteed Shrimp w/ Tomato, Tapenade, & Feta
463526

On the same night...
Tuna Poke
Watermelon Salad w/ Balsamic & Goat Cheese (this is so freakin' good)
463527

And another night which had rotated around to a previous night's menu....
Salmon Mouse again. :-(
463528

Same night,
Edamame Corn w/ Black Bean Salad
463530

Same night,
Crab Croquette w/ Pablano Aioli
463532

Same night (and a difference from the prior night with a similar menu)...
Seared Lamb with Pea Puree
463533

Current beer selection & soda selection. I learned this trip that they have Ginger Ale in the back upon request, not sure I ever knew that. Tonic Water on bottom right is new to me - seems an odd choice?

463534

Ku'ulei Punch
J. Lohr Chardonnay
Domaine Ste Michelle (sparkling wine)
J.H. Selbach Riesling
Murphy - Goode Merlot
DeLoach Heritage Reserve Pinot Noir
463535

Evening cordials included:
Kahlua
(not sure what the next one is, some sort of port wine)
Frangelico
Grand Marnier
Bailey's
Also the punch left out during this service as well
And milk. :-)

Breakfast beverage selections:
2% Milk
POG Juice
Cranberry Juice
Orange Juice
Chocolate Milk
463538

Cereal section includes:
Special K
Fruit Loops
Frosted Flakes
Raisin Bran
463539

My least favorite recent change still in place... hard boiled eggs in the shell. I get they are fresher and all that, but I have got to learn how to de-shell an egg, a skill I am apparently terrible at.

Wine choices look quite similar to the ones BWI had out this time.
And in a recent update, they had Grey Goose out for desserts. And Kailua, and milk. So you know what that means, LOL
There was a HUGE increase in the beer options though.
They had cans (the big ones) of Sweetwater 420 and Toasted Lager (Blue Point I think)
