Hi,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. We currently have a split stay reservation for boardwalk and beach club for September and we are booked at the boardwalk for pool or garden view Studio and for the beach club a studio also. Is there any room recommendations that I should ask for.
Thanks

BC, if you are a very light sleeper, request away from the elevators, some complain about the noise. It has never bother us, but it does others. Also a pool view will keep you away from the noise of the road.

BW, it doesn't matter in 24+ years, we have never gotten even close to what we requested.

I have only stayed in a pool/garden view room at BW twice. The first time was a cash reservation many years ago, the second time was in Dec 2018. I request close to elevator and 4th floor. We were on the 4th floor two rooms down from the elevator and our view was looking out on the clown pool. It was a very nice location for both the view and confidence to the elevator. Good luck on getting a good room! :tink:

BWV: request high floor (no matter where you are at BWV, views are better on the higher floors. To possibly get pool/garden view that is partial boardwalk view, request room overlooking Village Green.

BC - request AWAY from the elevator unless you have accessibility issues. It is loud.

This was my studio room 5063 on the 5th floor, near the elevator and this view of the Village Green is considered a garden/pool view  It also overlooked the gorgeous porch with the most comfortable white wicker rocking chairs :cloud9: My room was on the top floor on the right side with the curtains opened :goodvibes20170505_145312.jpg20170505_145303.jpg20170505_190911.jpg

We had one of these rooms once. It was AMAZING!!!!

Beach Club Woods view or Quiet Pool. BCV is my home and favorite resort but not spectacular in the views department. I also like the Village Green rooms at BWV.

We love BCV. We have spent over 75 nights there and never had a "bad" room. We always request "Close to elevator" as the hallways can be long.

For BWV, we were kinda lucky both times... The first time we had a standard view, and we requested not to far from the pool. We ended up getting Room 4097 which is the first room right as the bldg starts to angle/ where it separates the main pool & the quiet pool. Facing the porte cochere. Not too bad at all. Literally just walked a few steps across the hall, and down the stairwell, and came in the backside of the main pool area. To the left of the slide entrance.

The other time we requested close to elevator/lobby and we Rewarded with room 5050. Top floor, rough;y one of the 1st rooms from the MAIN elevator and it had a lil larger balcony than the rest of the studios. The only other spot that I would recommend would be like @mlittig said. Village Green rooms have some AMAZING views, and I believe either floor 2 or 3, and they have Humongous Balconies. Like seriously Huge.

For BCV, we really didn't care where we were, because it's not to huge....Actually, take that back, we didnt want to be all the way at the end of the bldg. My daughter had a bad knee. We did indeed get room #443, which is the wing off to the right. Not too bad. kind of a Meh view, not too many people walk down there so it's quiet if that's what you like. The resort more than makes up for it though, because after all our DVC stays, This easily jumps to the top for me :thumbsup2 .
Either way enjoy your trip, for no matter what you end up getting, I'm sure it'llbe awesome.

Hi, was room 4097 a studio or 1 bedroom? Thanks in advance! :flower1:

x097 rooms are dedicated studios.

Thanks, we have only stayed standard view three times since joining in 2000. Once many years ago, I can't even remember the year. The second time was in 2018 and we had a really nice view from a one bedroom unit on the 4th floor fairly close to elevator. This past Jan we were in a studio and the view wasn't all that good but I guess that's the chance you take with standard view.

I'm looking for a room suggestion for a one bedroom standard view room. We will be there for two weeks so it would be nice to get a fairly nice view. If you have any suggestions I would be very thankful for that information. :cutie:

This October will be our first time in a standard view (1 bdrm 10/5-17). We almost always get BW view so it's pretty new to us also.
We scoped out the SVs our last stay, and figured that near elevators (stairs are no longer my friends :o ), upper floor (better view) works for us. We're love sitting on the balcony, and a view of the porte cochere can be lovely.

Many years ago, we got a x123 SV 1 bdrm (before BWV even had view categories), & it was amazing - HUGE L/R with wrap balcony overlooking the water/tennis courts. Those rooms are oft requested though (sort of like Village Green studios). If you need/want to use the elevators, there are stairs nearby but the elevators are pretty far. https://www.disboards.com/media/bwv-driveway-standard-view.62898/

Thanks! Yes in 2018 we had a one bedroom standard view on the 4th floor that was fairly close to the elevator. The view was really good. We could see Morocco and the Epcot fireworks, the balloon at DS and now the Skyliner will be running to add to the view. All in all a really nice view for a standard view room. I sure wish I could remember the room number! :sad2:
