this one is a little hard because looking back on pictures of this trip reminded me of how I felt last year 2 months after my dad passed away - a mixture of sadness, relief and finally, happiness.
I love this!
. Nachos and churros...the breakfast of champions!
We had a beautiful view at the window overlooking WS
As my first course I ordered the Oxtail Broth - with braised beef, vegetables, and black winter truffles covered in puff pastry.
How could you NOT?!I got the new Bloody Mary they were serving at Refreshment Port.
Sanaa is so good! AKL in general is the best.Dinner was at one of my favorites, and right in our lobby too: Sanaa!
Thanks Tracy! I can always count on the DIS to cheer me up!I can't imagine the range of emotions you had on that trip. But what better place to process them all?
Aww thank you!!Art form or real form (lol), you look fabulous!!!
I know...I really come alive in Epcot!Absolutely gorgeous. I can't remember the last time I spent a complete day at ANY park. But if I did, it would definitely be Epcot It would be so nice to just slow down and have the whole day there.
Me too!Preaching to the choir with me!
Absolutely! We could certainly get lost in Epcot and not mind one bit!I kept thinking that throughout your whole update! Epcot is my favorite and it just seemed like a perfect day. It makes me miss Disney so much.
It was really cute! She always finds these unique and interesting artists! This is absolutely adorable!!! What a terrific (and thoughtful!) idea, Chunkysis
I know!! I really miss Disney especially Epcot. I wish someone could just drop me there right now. I don't even have to go on any rides, I just want to be there, soaking in the atmosphere! This sounded like the most perfect Epcot day, honestly, especially all the time to just wander and enjoy. Makes me want to go back even worse than before!!!!!! And, I know I mean to ask all the time, but don't think I ever have, will you message me where you got those Epcot ears and the castle ones this pic was based on? Thanks
Right? It's so cute! That is so cool and such a nice gift! I love how the artist mastered the castle details in your ears perfectly for the picture.
I always love a little sweet and salty for breakfast!YUM! That looks like a perfect combo!
It was delicious!Everything sounded/looked delicious. Your main course did look heavenly with that sauce lol.

That is true, it is a nice luxury!I usually try to spend the day at one park. It lets you enjoy more with less travel time to and fro.
Well quarantined me for one.Yes, of course. I mean who doesn't have that for breakfast?
Nope, it's that area that used to be right by Club Cool (RIP) - through the automatic doors and they had lounge chairs and stuff, and no one really seems to know it was there and I loved it. I'll miss these little known spots!DVC lounge?
Thanks!!What a great photo of you!
It's very good!I've heard of and seen it (in other TRs). Some day...
Me too!Nope. It does look appetizing. Love escargot.
Well good thing he didn't spill it!Oh, dear. Obviously the server had trouble. First the meal almost slid off one side, then the other.

I just really miss Disney...
Thank you! I really miss the beautiful topiaries!Gorgeous garden photos, as always. Picture perfect!
LOL I had the best caesar salad in Cancun!!!Oh that meal looks amazing from start to finish!!! I love the foam on top of that french martini, very whimsical! I had the most amazing french martini (sans foam) at the french restaurant at the resort we stayed at in Cancun this past January. Oh I'd fly back to that resort JUST for that drink (and the BEST french onion soup I've ever had in my life).....sorry....tangent ;-)
Thanks! What a wonderful artist to be able to capture people from a picture!I love this!
The window seats are the best! I love looking at everyone milling about Epcot!Pretty sure you had the same table as me. ??
Sooooo good!!!!I got that too and it was SO GOOD!! Light, flavorful, and such a fun, unique presentation.
I think we do!! Seriously, it was amazing! You should try the flying fish version, it is just as amazing! You and I must have very similar tastes. That's also what I ordered and LOVED it. One of the best fish dishes I've had on Disney property.

And yet... one that you seem to eschew. That is true, it is a nice luxury!
Churros might be tough... but you can still do the nachos!Well quarantined me for one.
I had no idea it was there.Nope, it's that area that used to be right by Club Cool (RIP) - through the automatic doors and they had lounge chairs and stuff, and no one really seems to know it was there and I loved it. I'll miss these little known spots!

And that wasn't planned??? Wow!It just so happens we all had FPs for Slinky Dog at the same time!
Casey and Gwen are not amused by my selfie-taking prowess.
Nice!We wanted to leave the park to get some time in at the pool before our dinner at Ohana. I was very excited to be able to add this dinner at the last minute sine we moved to the Poly.
This is the first time I see you with your hair up!
The first one.Which one do you think I ultimately picked?
A parking lot!!!!I was greeted with this sight, and I just gasped.
Okay, okay. Yes, it's a pretty shot. The picture doesn't do it justice but seriously it's the first time in a really long time I have paid attention to the sun or weather patterns, but these light rays...I think they call then Fingers of God...well it was just so touching to see them, so bright in front of me, and over the Grand Floridian, where I just was. I'm not really into the whole "it's a sign" thing but I couldn't help but feel happy,
Awww.it made me a tad emotional, I teared up.
Coconut. Why does it have to be coconut???First up: Coconut pineapple bread
Dang that looks good. Want.My favorite noodle platter with potstickers, wings and veggies.
Steve is smart. I'd be giving him a run for the money in the "how many can you eat" department!Steve is happy he can have all you can eat shrimp!
Looks sooooooo good! And I was happy with our bananas foster bread pudding dessert!
I love visiting MK at night!
I dunno. I like the first two. Especially the 2nd one that looks like you have fireworks Mickey ears on.Here were some of the outtakes. They are funny, but not really what I wanted to convey.
Yay! And yes! What a great shot!!I got one! I got the perfect "gazing into the fireworks happily" shot!
What? You're right! It doesn't! Unless you sprint there at rope drop.As an extra treat we ran to Peter Pan right after the fireworks were over and got on standby with a 15 minute wait. That never happens!!! I was ecstatic!
Casey and Gwen are not amused by my selfie-taking prowess.
SAME!How I miss vacation!
Ooo this is tough. My gut is telling me the who says we have to grow up one but I'm really not sure!Which one do you think I ultimately picked?

Aww, so fun!! Hello, DIS Friends!!!
I would have had a really hard time choosing, too!!! I love the sparkly bottoms. They are all awesome, but I'm thinking you picked We've made the fairytale fashionable again.I thought they all had striking sayings it was hard to choose!
I didn't know they had an actual name, but that's what we've always called them, too. I absolutely love that picture, and of course think of it as a signThe picture doesn't do it justice but seriously it's the first time in a really long time I have paid attention to the sun or weather patterns, but these light rays...I think they call then Fingers of God...well it was just so touching to see them, so bright in front of me, and over the Grand Floridian, where I just was.
YUM. That's the only part of this meal I need!!!!My favorite noodle platter with potstickers, wings and veggies.

The window seats are the best! I love looking at everyone milling about Epcot!
I think we do!! Seriously, it was amazing! You should try the flying fish version, it is just as amazing!

Us too! I don't even remember what it was before Monsieur Paul, was it another signature dining? I'd never been up there!
We started our day at Captain Cooks where I got some Mickey Waffles and bacon, another yummy breakfast!
I was very excited to be able to add this dinner at the last minute sine we moved to the Poly.
Usually I don't wear things with words on it but these were Disney-related so obviously an exception to the rule. Plus they were simple and practical which is more my everyday style and I can wear it to work which is a plus. So I saw these three styles that I was contemplating.
Which one do you think I ultimately picked?
When we left the Contemporary stop and we headed back on the outside track, I was greeted with this sight, and I just gasped.
My favorite noodle platter with potstickers, wings and veggies.
And I was happy with our bananas foster bread pudding dessert!
Which one did you think I picked?
