Dining Credits Offer

I looked at the price difference from what I have already booked to a new booking and it was over £3000 more.

This might have been that you had a different room type maybe as I know certain room types are excluded so in some places only the more expensive rooms are available

I'm rebooking yes but moving it from this year to next as well. When I looked the cost was pretty much the same as the cost if I added back on the free nights I had (Coronado was £2000 this year and £2100 next year looking at it).

I wonder if the costs might change (up or down) as time goes on. Surely by next year the hotels such as the other All Stars,AKL and the Port Orleans Resorts are back open. They are of course not available to book even for 2022 but when they do open and become available, maybe that will affect the costs across the board, more availability etc ?

Just thinking out loud 🤷‍♂️

ATD should be moving people over automatically, according to the email I received from them.

Its direct with Disney so having to phone to do

Quite possible yes.

Thinking of changing from CBR to Coronado. Will have to give up Skyliner then though but difference is just the meal credit of 366$ + 200$ gift card. Any thought if this would be worth it (i would be swithing though from 5th sleeper room @ CBR to normal room with 2 queen beds @ Coronado)? In other words is Coronado that much different then CBR and how is transportation from this resort with the bus?

Coronado is smaller but I personally prefer that. Only issues I had with transport was that its quite far from anywhere but Animal Kingdom whereas Caribbean is close to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. I would choose Coronado personally but it depends on whether you mind a bit of a longer bus journey compared to skyliner? Also you get a gift basket with Coronado as well.

Hi no its a package with flights etc even looking at cheaper options than Coronado they are still way more expensive than when I booked this one.

Txs for the input! We have 2 children (9 and 12). Don't think either resorts have much theming. POP would be another option but meal credits are less of course.

Been on hold for 45 mins so far - love how at the beginning they tell you the hold time is more than 10 mins but not how much more

I found that the basic rack rate available from US TAs/US WDW is still cheaper than this offer (room rate, less gift card and dining credits), so it is worth checking this before you book. Obviously you would need to buy park tickets separately, but you can still buy (and link) the U.K. ultimate 14 days for the price of 7 in the U.K. site even if your resort booking is made on the US site.

How do you access this US site? I cannot change the disneyworld site to US (only to UK or Ireland). And can you book for 2022 already on the US site?

Could be the flights that are screwy.
A couple of days ago I thought I'd see what price/availability was like for VA flights LHR-MCO in October as I haven't booked yet. Premium (pre-Covid) is usually about £1100 ... now showing around £2500. WHAT? thought I - that's Upper Class territory.
So I checked to see how much UC was ... £2040. Huh?
Yes, UC is showing about £500 cheaper than Premium. I can think of a few possible reasons, but none seem likely.

Yes, I have booked for March/April 2022 through a US TA. Try accessing the US site incognito.

Yeah I expect the flights have some bearing but it shouldn't be £3k more with the same flights selected and hotel etc.

At present 16nights 17 Oct @pop with Disney Tickets, car hire Fully Inclusive Insurance, Economy Out we are 1 stop coming back (as that's all I could get at the time for my current booking so I have matched that here, Premium seats Inbound both flights) £10,360 with discount = £9700 ish.

Our Booking is same nights and date, at Coronado Springs, same car hire, same flights and it was £6700

Thats crazy difference in price no doubt I can get it cheaper from someone else but would then lose deposit probably.

So for me im hoping I go in October as even with the dining it would most definitely be more expensive.

For Next May it would be £11,091 or £10,314 so the offer is worth say £800 dining and gift. still makes it £9,513.

Does your arrival date definitely fall within the offer?

Sorry no I wasn't on about the offer as such it was a case of if I had to alter my holiday to dates pithing the offer it would cost me considerably more than the offer.

My initial question was whether I was in the offer and I don't believe I am.

Does anyone know why you don't get the gift basket with reservations via the disney travel company on POP and All stars? I thought I saw it there this morning when I checked but now the gift basket does not appear anymore on this booking. Only on moderate and deluxe resorts.

just throwing out another option while we live in a world without free dining.....it’s not for the faint hearted as DVC rentals can have some risk but it would be about £2,800 to rent a studio sleeping 5 at Boardwalk next August for 2 weeks. Flights about £600 each and tickets £500, so family of 4, £7,200 (same deal would be £8.4k for Grand Floridian).

Owners can only book DVC resorts 11 months out so there is that issue but that’s about the same time as flights coming available.

Hey offers are up on DisneyHolidays.co.uk

CBR Standard Room + 5th sleeper is included in the offer @ $854 credit. So is Water/Pool W/5th sleeper

hopefully that’s helped people out! It certainly has me after originally having AKL with free dining planned for last summer. I could see the cost increasing so 850 dollars will help and getting stuff delivered by Amazon for snack stuff...

Hope everyone is able to get the deal they wanted

stay safe all
Daf

there is hardly any 5 sleeper rooms available

do u think they might open more up as time goes by
