2023 Point Charts Released

Nice, cant wait for some detailed analysis on them. Also really dig the teal color they used!

Looks like they finally got all of December into a higher of a season, and October and November continue to be higher to support the high demand of Fall Frenzy. With this new chart, the weeks in which Easter can fall fluctuate between only two travel periods 6 and 7..unlike 2021 and 2022 which had them span three travel periods...which is similar to what used to happen when they only did five travel periods.

So, very quick glance....summer slightly cheaper, early May a bit cheaper, and fall through December a bit higher?

I'm liking the changes for our personal travel for the most part. We tend to travel Jan, May, Sept, and then first couple weeks of Dec. An increase in Dec is very justified due to demand so I understand that one. Our May trips we'll just make sure to do during the first 2 weeks to make up for any Dec trips. Can't wait to see some more detailed analysis.

Now we know how the new Grand Floridian "resort studios" points compare to GF existing studios. 3 views: standard and lake exactly the same as existing studios, but new resort studio theme park views are more expensive. (Apologies if we already knew that. I don't always keep up, but it's news to me anyway.)

Quite surprised they are trying this. I'm a fan of those rooms at 2-3 less points per night for a similar view, but same price? Curious how they will do.

I had been on the fence about visiting WDW next Dec (never been for the holidays) or Jan '23. With December moving up a tier in 2023, Disney has helped make that decision for me. I guess I'll be up early one morning next month to book/take advantage of the slightly lower Dec 1-14, 2022 rates...

If I was a VGF owner this would pee me off. Once it’s newness has worn off, new buyers will get less for more or the same- no mini kitchen etc. I forsee many chasing the superior current DVC rooms with the kitchens in, thus placing more pressure on rooms original members were sold.

I do think the end result will be no deluxe studios of any kind at gfv at 7 months. If you don’t own there forget the notion of deluxe studio. TBD on demand for the resorts and availability at 7 months.
