Do you prefer wrapping presents in gift bags or in a box with wrapping paper?

For Me…..I‘m not a big lover of gift bags.
I like wrapping presents with paper, ribbons and bows.
Starting in October I save most boxes we get deliveries in, and I bring them home from work, so I have lots of different size boxes to choose from. We also have an insane amount of shirt boxes we’ve saved throughout the years. When Christmas is over, all the delivery boxes get thrown away and the shirt boxes go up in the attic (we do keep about 5 out of the attic for birthday gifts)

Gift bags exclusively for at least the past 10 years. We try to reuse the bags as much aa possible.

In most cases, wrapping paper is such a waste. For things like clothing boxes, you can just wrap the lid and then reuse the boxes.

I do both. No real preference. Maybe what's most convenient or most affordable.

Until a couple years ago, I always did the wrapping paper thing for almost all of the gifts. But more recently we've been driving to Alabama to be with my parents for Christmas, so it's been more practical to get giant gift bags and put everything together in bags for the kids. Easier to transport. Easier to clean up.

No preference - whatever works for the gift. If the item already comes in a box it gets wrapped with ribbon and a bow. If it's an item of clothing or other soft goods, it usually goes in a bag with tissue paper and curling ribbon around the handle. Large or unwieldy gifts sometimes just get a bow and a tag and set under the tree late Christmas Eve.

Hello my name is....I save boxes and have for decades I just can’t stop!! ( I do nice bags too)
Yes I prefer boxes and wrap just about everything in one - because I have an insane amount of paper I got on clearance a hundred years ago ( I’ve been banned from buying paper for close to decade now) tha I need to use up!! I believe on last count I’m down to about 50 rolls
I use BIG boxes for ALL my gifts !!

I do a mix of bags and wrapped boxes. I always wrap the gifts for my brother/SIL/Nephew because my SIL just throws away the gift bags if they get them, and it kills me to see perfectly good bags getting thrown out.

I am a terrible wrapper and always joke that my gifts look like they were wrapped by a blind octopus.

I do whatever works best for the gift. I have a large assortment of wrapping, boxes and bags. Pretty much ends up being a combo. I do have to say that gift bags have evolved over the years...there are so many cute ones!!!
