Wow! This was unexpected. I was not a huge Full House fan but definitely enjoyed a lot of episodes. How sad indeed and may he RIP. Prayers to his family and friends for sure.

I didn't know about Madden's passing. Another loss was on Sunday, Dobie Gillis actor Dwayne Hickman. I used to watch reruns, it always seemed like one of the more clever shows of the time.

One of my all-time favorite AFHV's was called "Cat Falls Off TV." This was in like 1989 or 1990 - early in the shows run, and I still very much remember it. It won it's show I believe. For those who don't remember it, it is exactly what it says - a cat sleeping on a TV set with his legs hanging off the front. Then he falls. That's it. It was so funny though!

When I saw it wasn't suicide and didn't appear to be drugs I got a ver John Ritter vibe. I'm the right age to have grown up with Full House so that show was a big part of my childhood.

That was my first thought when I heard there were no drugs found. And then I read later that day that sure enough he had just gotten over “ that which we cannot speak of”

So the cause of death was just blunt force trauma after he hit the back of his head on something. He likely just went to sleep but had no idea that it was serious enough to be life threatening.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bob Saget’s death last month stemmed from an accidental blow to the head, his family said in a statement Wednesday.​

The comedian and “Full House” star was found dead Jan. 9 in a Florida hotel room. He’d performed in the area the night before as part of a stand-up tour.​

“The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma,” the Saget family said. “They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”​

Oh how awful. I wonder if he slipped in the shower? Who knows. Just terribly sad.

My question is how are they sure it was an "accident" and not something intentionally caused by another part.

My friend fell in late October and has a brain injury from it. She realized it was a problem and called 911. 3 1/2 months later she’s at home but still suffering from the side effects. She has double vision and even when she covers one of them, her eyes can’t stay still. Because of that her balance is messed up.

I remember my DD’s school/teams implemented concussion protocol when my she was growing up and participating in sports. One of the things they tell you NOT to do is to fall asleep right after a blow to the head. I hope that Bob Sagat’s terrible experience will save lives in the future.

I’m sorry about your friend .

My friend is in her 60’s and was working when her accident happened. She will probably never return to work. We are just hoping that she’ll return to her home as it’s a 2 story house and she still finds stairs to be very difficult.

TMZ is reporting that there is speculation he hit his head on the headboard. It doesn't take much as was apparently the case with Natasha Richardson's death falling on a ski slope.

Bob's wife had said she talked to him before he went to sleep. If someone had purposely hit him, he probably would have mentioned it.
