Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns in 2022!!!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tickets Increase 39% in 2022

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning in 2022, but not without a significant price increase.

The last time Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was held was in 2019. Back in 2019, the average price of a ticket to the party was $96.53. In 2022, the average price of a ticket jumps all the way up to $143.17! That is a roughly 39% increase in price when comparing like products.

Now, you might say: “well, it’s been 3 years since the last time there was a party, of course prices will go up!”. You’d be right. However, the price increase between 2016 and 2019 sat at just 12%, nowhere near the nearly 39% increase that Disney is putting on a 2022 ticket.

In our experience the times are shorter than they are during the day but not quite as short as an after hours event. If your main goal is to do rides you can probably get through most things during the event(especially if you go early and get let in at 5pm) but do think its a bit of a waste to attend the party only for rides as there is so much else to do that you can't do on a normal day
Thank you! We definitely want to do more than rides but also wanted to know if one of the "perks" of the party was shorter ride lines. Sounds like it is, to a certain extent anyway. And we do plan on getting there as early as we can. So maybe we'll try to do rides first thing and then explore all the party stuff when it "officially" starts. :cool1:
We will be there in Oct and plan for 1 MNSSp & 1 MK. For the best experience do you recommend Party first or MK? thx
We're doing the same (but in Sept). We're planning on MK first (on our second day) and then MNSSHP on our last night. I think it would be fine either way, but this worked best with our schedule and the party dates, and I like the idea of experiencing "classic" MK first and then "dressed up" MK. :wizard:

I will say - leave the stage shows and parade until end of nights showings if you can stay awake that long. The last shows have much smaller crowds typically meaning you can show up 5 min before the show and still get a great view. This leaves more times to experience the other things on offer

Good to know, thanks! Honestly, I didn't even know there were multiple showings of the shows and parades! :confused3

Here’s the important question, on May 12th will they require resort guests to call again this year like they did last year or do you think we will be able to purchase them online. I’m not looking forward to another 3+ hour hold time again this year. June 8th, 2021 will be a day that goes down in history with phoning Disney for me 🤣

I believe someone up thread chatted Disney and they said 5/12 would be phone only. Or, maybe it was one of my month threads for my upcoming visit? There's so much chatter about this I can barely keep up, but I'm certain that someone, somewhere said they chatted and 5/12 would be phone only.

It’s phone only. They don’t have the tech backend to limit online sales to hotel guests.

Glad you asked this cause I already booked MK on a now party day. Idk if we will do the party or not. I wasn't sure if I should try and change the day. I'd like to, but idk if it's worth the expense or if my 4 year old would even last. Gives me a lot to think about now!!
How far ahead can you do park reservations? I thought it was 60 days but I must be wrong!?

I want 3 tickets for Aug 19 (onsite DVC stay) & won’t be able to call until after 1pm on May 12. I’m assuming that’ll be fine, right?

I would think that’s fine. October 31 sells out first, typically. But I don’t recall it ever selling out on the first day.

We have a WDW trip in early/mid October. The time we are there, there is a MNSSHP on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Does anyone have any guesses what this schedule will do to the extra hours days for deluxe and DVC guests?

We would like to go to a party, but I don't want to miss any extra hours opportunities. Any idea when Disney will announce the extra hours schedule for mid October?

I wonder if 10/10 is a misprint….it’s the only Monday party in Oct other than 10/31…it’s normally Sun/Tues/Thurs and Friday
