ADRs done! We got everything we wanted, including Akershus at 4:15 on our last day! Only issue is that we had to split our Teppan Edo reservation into two parties (we're seven people overall). But I'll take it--just really pleased we got it all! Thanks for the support, everyone!!

ADR day today! I got the few things I wanted, though not quite on the days I wanted. I was hoping for a Fantasmic dining package for Sci-Fi on 2/22, but had to settle for Mama Melrose (I knew Sci-Fi was a long shot for this since it was only day 2 for me and lots of others have been able to book that day prior to this) I did get my Sci-Fi lunch for 2/27, so I still get to eat there. And I got my traditional post-race lunch at Beaches & Cream on 2/26, so I’m pretty happy.

Going solo 1/30 - 2/7. It can’t get here soon enough!! I really need some time in my happy place.
Excited to have both lunch and dinner ADRs for the lounge at Space 220 (if there’s another solo out there, you could probably join - I assume a table for one will seat 2). Also doing a fireworks dessert party and Savor the Savanna

Southwest typically has a sale after Christmas. I was glad they finally released it.

We live close to Midway, so Southwest is the airline we almost always use.

I usually have points so I book it as soon as it drops and then modify it if the price goes down.

Southwest is pretty unique (I think) about their change/cancellation policy

I don’t think most airlines do that. With Southwest, if you book with points you can cancel and get your points back without the same restrictions as a cash fare - and if you change it - even to the same exact flight - your points are modified - so you get points back if you change it to the same flight after seeing that the points dropped.

I absolutely can NOT wait!! I keep looking over my ADRs and seeing what else is available just for the fun of it!! Wanna see what I have so far??!! LOL

Day 2: Lunch - Kona Cafe; Dinner - somewhere at DS like Earl or Chicken Guy
Day 3: Lunch - HBD / Fantasmic Pkg; Dinner - Sebastian's Bistro @ CBR

Day 5: Breakfast - Topolino's at Riviera; Dinner - Garden Grill

No luck with SciFi, but I will try again - especially the day before. I have heard the food is not great, but we have been to Disney since 2005, and I have never been. I really want to check it out!!

Nice job getting Topolino’s! We are doing an extended family trip.

Day 1: chef Mickey dinner (just my immediate family)
Day 2: San Angel Inn early lunch - akershus dinner (just the girls)
Day 3: Crystal palace breakfast
Day 4: homecoming dinner
Day 5: Topolino’s brunch
Day 6: skipper canteen
Day 7: go home

Solo offsite trip 2/25-3/2. Looks like I will be in between festivals at Epcot, hoping some of the F&G things will be in place by 3/1. I have a 3 day hopper and after hours ticket for MK 2/27, will hit Universal some also. Not making any ADR's, just going to be fancy free and eat QS when I feel hungry!

My daughter and I were just talking about hitting the Festival of the Arts food booths. We are staying at BW (first time ever), so that walk over is going to be FABULOUS!!!!

We are big Sci-Fans (when we can get a reservation!) and I've always liked the food! My husband and son tend to get burgers, but I got the salmon pasta last time and liked it a lot. And the movies are just so campy and fun, and the atmosphere is great. Hope it works out for you!

Thank you! I am wondering with the new 2-hour cancellation window if I will have better luck with SciFi as it gets closer. I will also try to do the walk-up list!! I just wanna see it!!!

In regards Sci fi, I know my kids will want a car but my dh is rather fluffy, I've heard sizes aren't great and I don't want him bto be uncomfortable. Is there much too in them? Anything to compare them to?

I can't believe how close we are getting. I still feel so up in the air. I applied for a promotion/new site at the end of November, and they STILL haven't filled the job or scheduled the next round of interviews. I know the Holidays slowed things down, but I feel this is getting ridiculous. I had really hoped to have it all settled before my trip, so I am not really in the Disney mindset yet. I'm terrified I'll have to cancel if that is my start week. My husband says at this point I should just not worry about it. Customary notice is 4 weeks, so even if they made a decision today I couldn't start until the 30th. Blah. I just want to go to Disney.
